He had grabbed me in order to cease me from tripping out of the cliff..Now i was in his arms and even amidst of all this mess,i found solace.I in MJ's arms,is it true,or is it just a dream!!!
Mrityunjay had been my classmate since i had moved to Pune,when I was in 9th standard.and then in college too he was in my batch.We mostly sat on the adjacent bench.I had known him since past 6 years.But then,he was Mrityunjay,a guy whom every girl would wanna date.He was rich,smart,handsome,a perfect prince charming of every girl's dream.N i knew i was almost invisible to him since i have known him.
But at this moment everything was absolutely different from the old days.He held me for a while,n then moved me to a more comfortable place...A tear had trickeled down my face on his hand.He gazed me for a while n then said -"Whats wrong with U,Tara?Are u in ur proper senses??were u just wandering and reached the edge accidently?or was it intentionaly?"..He had bombarded me with the obvious questions anyone would asked in this situation.He sounded concerned,his eyes narrowed and his eyebrows had formed crease between them.
I was dumbstruck at that moment.I had never thought that he,the Mrityunjay Singh Shekhawat,would have ever saved me.Moreover his sense of concernedness was striking me.Gulping the feeling of shock I tried to speak.
"I dont remember how i reached here.I have come to Lonavala with my friends.Weather was nice n so everyone was having fun out there.I wanted to move away from the noise,so i drifted away from that crowdy place,but dont know how i reached here"
My hands were still trembling and my voice was shaking.Was it due to the cold weather,or it was due to shock of the inciedent..i too dint knew the answer...maybe it was due to both.
Sensing me in state of shock,he moved towards me n held my hands in his..I could feel their warmth.Looking into my eyes he gave a small nod and said "Dont worry,u are safe now,away from the edge.lets go back to where ur friends are". And still holding my hand in his,he took me to my friends.
Seeing us coming togather holding Hand-in-Hand,my friends were awestruck.ofcourse,how can a guy like MJ roam with me at such a romantic place.My friends were moving towards me,n watching that i slowly left MJ's hand n went to my friends."Where were u??we had been searching for u since so much time..Atleast u should have informed us that u are going away from this place." all my friends bulleted me tons of questions as to where i had been.And one of them whispered in my ear "lucky u Tara,roaming with MJ in a romantic weather like this is worth getting lost in this beutiful valley " n she winked at me after saying this.I dint knew how to react.
Feeling that now m safe,MJ started to leave from there.He gave a brief nod to me n started walking towards the other side so as to go to his friends.I thought for a while n felt that m forgetting something very important at that moment.All of sudden i realised what i had forgotten.I left the place where my friends were standing,and went to MJ.Facing him i stared for a while n then said "I know words r few n can never be equal to what u did to me today.Yet i want to say Mrityunjay - Thank You..Thanks for being there where even i was not in my own self" ...
He blinked at me,n smiled...oh his million dollars smile.. on which hundreds of girls had their head-over-heels.and for the 1st time after so many days,i smiled too.
He might not be my prince charming,but by now he had become my knight-with-the-shining-armour...Ofcourse,i owed my life to him now.
