EPILOGUE
Armaan slowly sneaked inside his room and saw Shilpa who kept her gaze down on 2 yr old Sneha who was sleeping peacefully in her arms.. A smile formed in his lips seeing them together everytime.. Sneha's looks fully resembled to Shilpa.. The same silky black hair and the glowing skin.. But she had got his dimples and his blue eyes which surely showed she had a mixture of both their features.. While on the other hand Aryan had his charming looks but again mixing up his parents looks he got Shilpa's green eyes.. He glanced at the corner of the room and looked at his son Aryan who was sleeping peacefully in the crib.. Its been 2 years now and they were blessed with two twins who had different nature from eachother.. Sneha had the silent and shy behavior like her mother while Aryan had the funny and prankster behavior ofcourse inherited from him.. Just then he felt her gaze on her Armaan looked at Shilpa hesitantly and saw the furious look on her face.. He noticed how she tried to control her anger while she kept patting Sneha back into Sleep... Laughing nervously he enters the room silently when Shilpa points her finger at him in anger..
Shilpa : Dont u say a word Armaan...
Armaan looks at her oddly still trying to get a grip on himself.. He still couldnt accept the new changed behavior of her.. After they returned back to Mumbai she decided herself to take sessions from a counselor.. And then soon a new transformed Shilpa was infront of him who was happy and always smiling.. Eventhough she still had the shyness within her, Shilpa often got irritated when he started to became workaholic .. She started complaining to him everyday how he ignored her.. For some extent he knew it was true as he was involving himself too much in work making him less available among his family.. Armaan gives her a sheepish smile and speaks softly..
Armaan : Shona.. Am so sorry.. I tried to make it fast but the client...
Shilpa interrupts him, her voice getting more louder..
Shilpa : Everyday Same excuse Armaan.. I expected you to give us sometime on our anniversary day.. But again your work is more important for you than me..
Armaan frowns as Shilpa starts to cry making Sneha wake from her sleep.. Sneha starts to cry which lead more noise waking Aryan from his sleep as he joins in the same chorus making Armaan look at them miserably..
Armaan : Shona plss.. Am so sorry...
Shilpa interrupts him again..
Shilpa : I dont want to talk to you Armaan..
This makes Sneha cry out more loud while Armaan takes Aryan in his arms trying to calm him...
Shilpa brush of her tears and starts to pat Sneha's back softly while speaking slowly..
Shilpa : You do it everytime.. I cant believe you forgot our anniversary.. I was waiting for you so long and..
Armaan interrupts her words frustratedly..
Armaan : Will you stop repeating same thing Shilpa.. Its giving me a headache..
Just then Ananya enters the room and notice the trio crying while Armaan kept trying to get Aryan back into sleep.. Ananya Shakes her head and moves to Armaan taking Aryan from his hand..
Ananya : You both are fighting again.. When will you grow up..
Shilpa stays mum while Armaan walks out of the room in anger.. Ananya looks back at Shilpa and takes a seat beside her..
Ananya : Shilpa.. Everytime this behavior.. Why.. ?
Shilpa : Momma i try my best everytime.. But he hardly gives me time now..
Ananya takes a sigh while patting back Aryan to sleep..
Ananya : I know how you are feeling Shilpa.. But try to understand.. You both need to talk with eachother calmly.. If u keep fighting like this it is going to effect both Aryan and Sneha..
Shilpa looks at her for a minute and looks down at her both babies.. Getting the words in her mind She nods her head understandingly..
Armaan cools down himself and looks outside the balcony clutching the phone in his hand.. He starts to think about his relationship with Shilpa when he realizes how they are falling apart now.. The special bond they used to share before was somewhere missing now.. He shakes his head and takes his phone dialing Rahul's number.. After few minutes Rahul answers the phone grumpily..
Rahul : I am not your lover that you keep calling me in middle of the night..
Armaan : I just wish..
Rahul : What... !! Man just get onething in your mind i am not like that...
Armaan hits his forehead realizing what has said..
Armaan : Shut up Rahul.. I didint mean it ok...
Rahul : Thankgod you didint.. Anyways tell me whats wrong.. You sound quiet worried..
Armaan runs a hand in his hair and narrates everything to Rahul... After some minutes of silence Rahul starts to laugh irritaing him to the core..
Rahul : Gosh Armaan.. You are such a Dumb man..
Armaan : Damn u Rahul.. If you dont want to help me i am cutting the call..
Rahul : Ok ok cool down.. Now i have only onething to say.. She wants you to give her time right.. Then give her time...
Armaan : Oh come on Rahul i try everytime to make it up for her but she makes it more difficult for me..
Rahul : Armaan.. Same happens with me and Muskaan too.. But if you really do something special for her by giving sometime to her it will make her happy man.. Are you getting what i mean...
Armaan thinks for a second and then nods his head with a smile..
Armaan : Ohh yes i have got.. Thanxs Bro for helping...
Rahul : well Whats the plan...
Armaan : For that come to my place tomorrow morning.. You will get to know than..
Next morning :
Armaan comes out of his room with their bags while Shilpa follows him out silently... Ananya , Billy and Muskaan look at them frowning while Rahul winks at Armaan secretly...
Billy: Are you going somewhere Armaan... ?
Armaan : Dad.. Me and Shilpa both are going..
Ananya looks at them worried..
Ananya : But what about Ananya and Sneha...
Armaan : Mom plss.. U and Dad have to take care of them for three days..
Rahul jumps into the conversation acting as if knowing nothing..
Rahul : But Armaan.. Where are you going...
Armaan : Oh Rahul remember about that conference in Goa.. I have to take Shilpa with me as we are told to take wifes with us to Accompany for the Dinner party...
Shilpa looks away disappointed while Muskaan looks at both Armaan and Rahul suspiciously... She pulls Rahul closer and whispers..
Muskaan : I have a feeling there is something else behind this.. U better tell me..
Rahul gives her a innocent look...
Rahul : There is no secret Muskaan... Its just a dinner party...
Muskaan nods her head still wid a ting of suspicion in her mind... Just then Billy interrupts the talks..
Billy : Dont worry Armaan.. Go with Shilpa in that manner you both will also get a chance to spend time together..
Ananya nods her head agreeing with him..
Ananya : Yes u both should get going.. Dont worry about the babies.. We will take care of them..
Muskaan : Ya Shilpa dont be worried.. I will also keep coming having a look on the babies..
Shilpa nods her head forcing a smile.. She looks back at Ariya who was buxy doing her schoolwork.. She takes a seat beside her and runs a hand in her hair..
Shilpa : Aru.. I have to go now with Armaan.. But i will come soon as we finish the work.. For that time will you take care of Aryan and Sneha..
Ariya shakes her head brightly...
Ariya : yes Di.. I love playing with them...
Shilpa hugs her tightly with a smile..
Shilpa : I love you Aru...
Ariya : I love you too .. Di i will miss you do come soon...
Shilpa nods her head and turn back to others and bids goodbye to them.. She looks down at her babies and bends down at Sneha who was buxy playing with her toy in Ananya's arms and gives her a big kiss on her cheeks.. Sneha looks at her with a cute smile and claps her small hands making everyone smile in aww.. Armaan bends down and takes Aryan who was crawling under the table and whispers to him..
Armaan : Ohh my prankster dude.. Dont irritate your grandparents much ok..
Shilpa turns at them both and gives a kiss on Aryan's cheek and point a finger at him..
Shilpa : Baby u better be a good boy..
Aryan flash his big smile and instantly tugs Shilpa's hair irritating her.. Armaan tries to control his laugh while Shilpa shots him a look.. Shaking his head he gives back Aryan to Billy.. Both of them bid goodbyes to everyone and walks out of the house..
Armaan keeps walking after Shilpa trying to catch up with her.. And as he does she brush his hand away..
Armaan : Shona.. Will u stop running..
Shilpa : I want to get over this checking thing soon..
Armaan : Stop lying to me i know you are trying to ignore me..
Shilpa looks at him with a pout and walks away when Armaan again comes and stops her.. Shilpa turns around to speak when she goes still seeing the person behind Armaan.. Armaan frowns seeing the shock in her eyes.. He turns back and sees the person who he never wished to see.. Esha.. Armaan starts to get furious remembering the pain and how she ruined his life.. Esha tries to get close to him when Armaan points his hand to stop her..
Armaan : Dont u dare come close to me Esha.. You know what.. I would have slapped you if were ..
His words comes to a halt when suddenly he sees Shilpa moving towards Esha giving a tight slap on her face shocking both Esha and him to the wits.. Esha looks around feeling humiliated as people starts to stare at them curiously...She looks at Shilpa in Anger..
Esha : YOU... ! How dare..
Shilpa interrupts her words in anger...
Shilpa : HOW DARE YOU ESHA... !!! How dare you ruin my life.. My happiness.. Cauxe of your one lie i had to go away from my family... I had to live a lonely life.. I will never forgive you for doing such a cheap thing.. Never... And Armaan does have the decency not to slap a women but i have the right to slap you for the cheapness you have showed by ruining our happiness..
Shilpa turns to go away but again turns back at Esha.. This time she looks at her calm and speaks softly..
Shilpa : You know what Esha.. I really Pity you now.. I pity you that you dont even know the meaning of love.. Love means sacrifice.. Giving up your happiness for the one you love.. Not taking our their happiness.. I hope you understand it one day.. I really do hope.. Goodbye Esha..
Esha looks at her totally humiliated still not daring to utter a word infront of Shilpa.. This time she wasnt seeing a weak women infront of her.. She saw a strong Shilpa who had the determination within her.. As Shilpa walks away she looks at Armaan who gives her a bitter smile..
Armaan : I dont think i need to say a word now Esha.. She have spoken out all needed.. So goodbye forever..
Esha looks at him in guilt and walks away from them keeping her head down with shame..
Armaan moves close to Shilpa and holds her arms.. He looks at her face and speaks in a worried tone..
Armaan : Shilpa.. Are you Ok...
Armaan expected to see tears in her eyes but instead he saw a sort of relief and peace in them.. She nods her head and speaks softly..
Shilpa : Yes .. I am very much better... lets go we are getting Late..
After several hours :
Shilpa enters into the hotel's lobby in a hasty pace looking for their room when Armaan comes running and holds her hand..
Armaan : Shona.. Why are you soo upset..
Shilpa : And then what should i do..
Armaan : Didint you here what Dad said... Spend time with eachother together here... So why are you running away from me..
Shilpa folds her arms and speaks softly...
Shilpa : Armaan i know that is not going to happen.. You will get buxy in your work and i will be left alone in room..
For a second he feels guilty seeing the sadness in her eyes.. But as she proceeds towards the room his heart starts to jump in excitement.. Shilpa comes infront of their room and opens it.. As she walks in she takes a minute to look around and instantly get goes still seeing the beauty of the room.. She notice the king size bed which was done beautifully and everything about the room was so wonderful as she found it hard to take her eyes off the room.. She looks back at armaan and whispers..
Shilpa : Armaan... Honeymoon suite...
Armaan smiles and bend to her ear and huskily speaks..
Armaan : Yes Honeymoon suite.. You and me here for three days.. And no one to disturb..
Shilpa looks at him with a frown..
Shilpa : But.. You told..
He interrupts with a grin..
Armaan : I lied.. I brought you here so that we can spend sometime together.. I know i have been very ignorant towards you all these days.. I was stupid not to realize it before.. But now as i have realized am trying to make it up for you.. Am so sorry Shona..
Shilpa smiles at him when he cups her face bringing her close to him.. He starts to rub his lips with her teasing her for a bit.. And then he whispers on her lips before taking them into a deep kiss...
Armaan : My dear wifey.. Welcome to our second Honeymoon...
Shilpa puts on her night suit and gets up from the bed with a smile while walking towards the window looking out at the beautiful sky.. She keeps staring at the stars when she feels his hand on her waist while he puts his chin on her shoulder looking up in the sky...
Armaan : Shona.. Are the stars more charming than your husband.. You stare at them more than me..
Shilpa looks at him with a smile and looks back at the sky.. She points at the two stars which kept shining brightly in the sky...
Shilpa : Armaan do you see those two stars... I believe thats why Mamma and Papa who is looking down at me.. And i know now they are really happy to see the happiness in my life...
Armaan : And i guess they are shining cauxe they are really happy to see atlast their daughter has come out of the shell of insecurities and living her life bravely..
Shilpa turns to him and tears form in her eyes..
Shilpa : Armaan.. i know my change in behavior.. Its not that good.. I keep fighting with you now everyday...
Armaan smiles while taking her in his arms..
