Prologue
"It was a mistake," you said. But the cruel thing was, it felt like the mistake was mine, for trusting you."
I was really excited . Finally! I was meeting her. After 3 freaking months. I don't know , how I have spent these days without her. I was so busy with work , that I hardly got time to speak to her. All thanks to my great dad! Who was so keen to make me work in his office for a while.
I was giving her a surprise. I bought her favorite bouquet and a box of chocolates. It was her birthday tomorrow and I was very excited to surprise her. I reached her home , surprisingly her room's light were on. I thought she would be sleeping.
I climbed the pipe with difficulty , as usual her window was open. So I came inside.
"Happy birthday Shar!"
It took a fraction of a second , for my smile to disappear . The bouquet from my hand fell down , I looked at the sight in front of me. Sharon was with another guy , he had been kissing her before I entered and it did not seem forced by any means . My hand turned into a fist.
"Swayam , you were going to come after a week ."
"Accha hua , I came early ,nahi toh I would have never seen this. Bloody bitch."
"Dude! Shut up. She is my girl."
The guy puts his hand around her waist .
"She was just using you for your money and fame . Humara bad luck tumhe bahot jaldi pata chal gaya.Anyways it's good , at least now Sharon wouldn't have to roam around with you."
My eyes were filled with tears of betrayal , yet I could read her eyes , which didn't want me to leave. Her face depicted pain. But the kiss and her reaction to it , I came to Sharon just to confirm.
"Sharon? This a joke right?"
"No! I don't Swayam Shekhawat. I don't , I never loved you. I love rohan , I have always loved him , I used you for your money and fame. Now please get lost , and don't spoil my birthday. Out of here."
My heart broke into millions of pieces , giving a very hard punch on the jerk's face. I went closing my eyes. I walked alone on the lonely road. For me , my life had ended. I just hoped this was a bad night mare , and I would wake up soon from it.
