Chapter 5

The papers that Khushi had given Arnav were blank. She only wanted was their new life to start on a fresh note. He smiled and ran out of the room.

"Khushi!" he shouted, as he saw her downstairs.

Khushi stopped. Arnav rushed to her and picked her in his arms, circled her her around and then slowly put her down.

He cupped her face. "You scared me, Khushi!" he said and pressed his lips on hers. Her lips arched into a smile. "Khushi, I will never ever let you go away from my life. I will never put you down!"

Anjali smiled as she saw her sister-in-law and brother finally walking on the same path happily. Ruhaan hugged her from behind gently. "Anjali, I will never ever hurt you and will always protect you and our baby!"

Anjali smiled.

"I know!" she said.

Arnav picked Khushi in his arms. "Saleh sahab, where are you taking my sister?" Ruhaan shouted.

"Well, you have started your family, why we stay back?" Arnav answered back.

Khushi's cheeks flushed and she hid her face in Arnav's chest.

"So better come back here with a good news!" Ruhaan said.

"Very very soon!" Arnav replied and looked at blushing Khushi.

It was all about realising the pain given and starting fresh. And really the end of "me" and starting about "us."
