Prologue
Khushi paced around her room. She was fidgeting with her dupatta. She heard the pool door slide and saw Arnav standing there.
"Khushi I'm leaving for office, I'll be back early for the party," Arnav told Khushi and kissed her on the cheek, "Bye. I love you," he said and walked out the door still leaving Khushi in the same state as before. Khushi looked up at the clock and noticed only 2 minutes had passed, she would have to wait another 3.
But what if it was true? Would Arnav agree? What if he didn't? Would he make her do something that she didn't want to? Khushi felt her hands getting sweat and heart beating faster/ She sat down on her bed and buried her face in her hands. Maybe she was just late. That had happened a few times in the past. But she was never this late. Her thoughts went back to the time they had spent in Venice last month.
Khushi looked up at the clock and noticed that it had been 5 minutes. She got up and made her way to the bathroom sink. She picked up the stick with her shaky hands and looked at it. It read positive. She was pregnant.
