Extended part:
Immediately, unconscious Khushi was taken to hospital from there.
Inside the ward, once Khushi's wound was treated, all left the room.
As soon as the ward door closes, a dark figure loomed over her.
'Khushi...' called a husky voice.
Silence filled the ward and slowly Khushi opened her eyes to meet the person.
The same person, who shot her.
The same person, who stole her heart.
The same person, who is her world...
'Arnavjiii...' whispered Khushi trying to sit.
' Khushi wait.'
Arnav rushed to help her and made her sit.
Sitting beside her on the bed, he craddled her face.
'Is it paining Khushi?', Arnav asked now looking at the wound.
'Little but now that you are here, I don't feel much.'
She leaned on his heart and soon slept listening to his heart beats.
Kissing her forehead, he laid her down properly.
Arnav went to the window and peeped out to see the media making choas outside the hospital.
Closing the window, he walked over to the couch and switched on the TV with the remote that was on the table near by.
Sitting on the couch, with the TV on the lower volume, he browsed through news channels.
All he could see was the news of Khushi's attack, when he read the news scrolling down on one of the channels.
'Ms. Sen, one of the ex assistants of the late scientist Dr.Raichand, is found dead at her flat in this morning. She shot herself with a gun. The reason for her death is still unknown.'
Reading it, Arnav just smirked and switched off the TV.
With a yawn leaving his mouth, he went and slept with Khushi hugging her.
***************
In the evening, Arnav woke up to see Khushi still sleeping due to the effects of the pain killers.
He stood up and kissing her forehead, he slowly woke her up.
'Khushi... Wake up dear.'
'Hmm...' moaned a sleepy Khushi but soon woke up and smiled brightly looking at Arnav.
After refreshing, Khushi started admiring Arnav while he was preparing the evening beverages for them.
She, mentally, is thanking her Devi maiya for bringing this day in her life, when Arnav came back with her tea and his black coffee.
'You started again...'
She snapped out of her little talk with her Devi maiya when she heard Arnav.
'Huh... What Arnavji?'
'You started to trouble your Devi maiya again with your thanks... Poor her...'
And there starts their daily banter.
*****"
It was around 7 pm, when Arnav left the hospital ward covering his face with a scarf.
Soon, the Raizada family came inside the ward and Khushi acted as if she just woke up.
