Haha okk I know its past Midnight as in 130 am now according to the Indian standard time and I got little late but Guys I was writing down the update and my fngers were flowing and I only paused when I felt in my heart that it was to Halt the Chapter at that!and like I promised I am posting it the Minute it is Ready!

And it turned to be Super Duper Long Update Again – 22k words guys!!

SUCH A GENTLEMAN – MY HOODIE GUY IS..LIKE I THINK HE SHOULD BE GIVEN - THE GENTLEMAN OF THE GENTLEMAN’S GAME AWARD!

You know since they all call Cricket as the Gentleman's Game!

OK THEN!

Before I continue with my rant – I need to tell you all that India has this Chase in Control as in – right now in 13 overs India is 130 – 3 and in the remaining 7 Overs – they need to make 71 runs to Win this Final to be specific to you all in the ball wise equation –they need 71 runs for the win in the next 42 balls.

Like you can say they need on an average of 10 runs per over!

And thank My cricketing Gods that the RUN rate has Been Consistent!

The Aussie fans are Pretty Much Bummed though…like Obviously!

Like they were Super Bummed when that unexpected Rain Shower Came!!

Ohh so on that Note -Do you know what had I done in the Pause – just chatted and laughed and enjoyed with everyone around me and then I Also rewatched the highlights of the First Innings on my Hotstar – just to see My Hoodie Guys those two amazing Catch outs and that Killer Maiden Wicket over! You know to just catch on that Happiness on his Face – Again!

So oh yes Asher and Zain were out in the pause time as they went to Chat Up with their professional acquaintances that were in the VIP box!And they returned just in time as the Second Innings Began!

AND Oh Guys!

SHIT YOU KNOW WHAT?

While MY Hoodie Guy was walking up to the Crease with Shiv..its Like he looked up at Our Stand!!!

And for a Second I couldn’t breathe because it felt like that why did he look up at just our Stand as In Just Only Ours Apart from him also looking at the VIP box for families and had those adorable exchange of gestures with his family members,right before he stepped on the field!

And they totally zoomed in this shot on the Screen!

It was adorable!

Okkk so of course he walked ahead to the pitch a second later and I was like Stupid GOOFY CRAZYYY it was just a Coincidence ya because there was obviously no other logical explanation to this!

OHHHHH Damm Me!

I started with my rant again and totally evaded the topic of the Game that was going on the field!

Ohk Khushi let’s Switch Back to Cricket – Stupid Goofy Crazy Khushi you are here to Witness the World Cup Final!

Keep your thoughts on the Game!!!

Soo wait to my Defense I am sure you all are thinking how is my head even wandering to all these thoughts in the middle of the game well because there is a 5 minute pause because The Aussie Wicket Keeper seemed to have a little injury with a major hard swing from his very own bowler that was aimed as a very Harsh Bouncer towards My Hoodie Guy in Massive Aggression but thank god MY Hoodie guy Dodged Sideways in time and the ball by default hit the Aussie Wicket Keepers Shoulder and he obviously was in a little pain and guysss ohh so that is why I said that MY Hoodie guy should be given that Gentleman of the Gentlemans Game Award – because he was the first one to immediately drop his bat and tend to the Aussie Wicket Keeper as he held onto his shoulder on reflex from the pain of the hard hit and that was such a gesture of amazing sportsmanship and compassion (and also remember his compassion and support towards the Young Singh in the first innings?), and so Cap joined him soon after in the next five seconds by dropping down his bat too as they both stood by the Aussie Wicket Keepers side and this gesture by these two gentleman completely won the Hearts of us all!

Like Everyone!

Even the Aussie Skipper and the rest of the Team in Dug Outs Surely – it was on their face!

And oh the Commentators Too!

And now obviously we need the Wicket Keeper in place before play begins so they are checking on him to see if can continue or they will have to have someone else take there place – which the Aussies wouldn’t want ofcourse!!

Okkk so back to The SCORES of the Game!

OK Let Me Tell You!

Well ofcourse on One End We have My Hoodie Guy and just abouut five minutes ago now on the other end Cap came in right before as Yuvaan got out and Cap took a single and MY Hoodie guy was back on crease and then Aussie Wicket Keeper got hurt!

Soooooo nowwww it’s like We will have the Epic Combination of the Captain and the Vice Captain of the Indian Cricket Team once play begins which should be in a couple of minutes because I think the Wicket Keeper is now ready to play – that’s what the commentators are saying as I still have the earphones plugged in my ears anyway!

SO BEFORE THE GaMe Begins!

A Glimpse into the Stuff that Happened Before this point in the Game!

So Uptil around 30 runs before it was like India was at 100- it was for the loss of no wicket in just 9.4 Overs!!

Like Oh My God Guys!

It was like My Hoodie Guy and his opening partner Shiv were like taking turns to Fire and it was like one was firing for a bit and the other was anchoring and then vice versa and I think that totally failed the Aussie’s bowling strategy going on until the 9.4 Overs because it was like My Hooodie Guy was targeting the bowlers he could take on with his strengths and then Shiv was taking on the bowlers he could with his Strengths and was it a treat to watch???

Like WE AS IN EVERY FREAKING INDIAN FAN IN THE STADIUM WAS GOING BONKERSSSS!

WE COULDN’T STOP CHANTING INDIA INDIA OR THEIR NAMES!

(AND OH ON THAT NOTE – I THINK I AM SCREAMING AND HOOTING AS MUCH AS VARUN Or PROBABLY EVEN MORE AND I AM SURE BY THE END OF THIS INNINGS – YOURS TRULY GOOFY CRAZY KHUSHI WOULD HAVE TOTALLY LOST HER VOICE AS IN MY VOICEBOX IS GOING TO TOTALLY CRASH AND GIVE UP ON ME AS A REVOLT FOR INDULGING ITNWITH SOME MASSIVE CARNAGED PRESSURE– Hahaha..and everyone around me couldn’t believe my enthusiasm or energy and were just giving me amused looks specially Asher as be couldn’t stop grinning at seeing me jump up and down like a crazy springboard at My Hoodie Guys excellent shots or his half century celebration..and that point Asher was like to me – Khushi you totally beat Varun and Rahul into the crazy race to the top position in ASR's fandom and that obviously made me grin within like a idiot as I told him that I was totally His Number 1 Fan..haha..and then Asher just grinned at me amused and oh guys Zain and Asher even got us all Some India flags to wave at the Start of the Second Innings and we were totally using it)

Ok so.

And it was amazing guys the energy of the Stadium as in just Imagine that the Chasing team in the World Cup Final- had reached the 100 run mark without the loss of any wicket!

And the best part guys.

It was like by the time they had reached Hundred – My Hoodie Guy and Shiv had the equal run score by then – they were both at 50 by then as in they literally made their half century together like almost just one ball after the others and waited to celebrate with each other together!

And ofcourseeee we all went Beserk in the Stadium as the two of them Celebrated Mid Pitch in the Most Dramatic of Ways – like they obviously raised their Bats to the Crowd Guys but like they Did it Together by putting hands across each other shoulders and then holding their respective bats up to the either side of the crowd and then they hugged each other in celebration and patted each other backs!!

It was like amazing to watch – like almost Surreal!

Just like their amazing opening partnership!

Like Unbeleivable!

And something was really Up with My Hoodie Guy today as in obviously I cannot read his body language with my naked eye from the balcony stands, but everytime his face or his body language or side frames was showing up huge blown up on the screen – I Could sense some sort of a Powerful Determination up in his Frame Today as in he was obviously anchoring the game with Shiv and then he was also Firing with playing some calculated yet aggressive shots so that there was no room for error but you know what made me feel that there was some different powerful energy in him right now in this match – it was the fact that he had this Surreal Smile on his Face and a Look in his eyes that was so Deeply Rock Steady Determined that it was almost intimidating to see that sort of a resolve in his eyes – and the three times he took of his helmet off in the Innings until now once in the drinks break,and then in between some overs as he brushed the sweat off his hair and then readjusted the helmet back and then at the time in spot when the Aussie keeper got hurt and they got a little time to chat up on the Pitch – his these shots from earlier on and this one of him currently also with Cap chatting up in the Middle of the Pitch was totally blown up on the screen and even the commentators were discussing the same thing n between of them at those two points earlier– that it was the Rock steady Determination in ASR’s Body language that was Intimidating the Aussie Bowlers and yet the smile on his face and the fact that he literally was giving a thumbs up or patting a bowlers back after an excellent delivery in between of the game – was also confusing them because they didn’t know what was he trying to do – for he was totally trying to intimidate them with his shots but at the same time he was also being the perfect gentleman on the pitch as he respected and appreciated the bowlers every now and then – and was totally giving them their due in silent positive gestures as they bowled excellent deliveries.

And to be Honest guys – the Aussies Bowling was really controlled – as in like It was not Loose at all but just like it was before the Pitch was totally in the batsmen favour in the first innings and in this second one too it was totally favouring the batsmen and even more so after the Impact of the Rain.

So like I was just explaining above at 100 runs there was a loss of no wicket but in the next over – Shiv got out in a catch out near the boundary line and his amazing spell ended at 52 and My Hoodie guy was batting at 50 at that point and India was 102 – 1 by 10 overs!

And then Kunal came in to partner and then right until they had been in the 12th Over it was like My Hoodie Guy was anchoring and Kunal fired some beautiful covers like about 4 and then a double then fell to a tricky LBW! And this point in the 12.3 overs India was at 127 – 2(My Hoodie Guy was at 58 now) and then in came in Yuvaan but he was cleaned bowled in an amazing delivery after just making Two Runs and that obviously upset him a lot and as he got back towards the dug out I think the Aussie bowler who had just got the better of him uttered some words to him and that made Yuvaan stop and they got into a little heated spat on the pitch( I mean guys it is the WORLD cup Final..there is going to be so many mood swings on the pitch that will lead to Some Major Cricketing Drama )anyways…and then MY Hoodie Guy stepped in immediately and he tried to ease the situation in between Yuvaan and the bowler and MY Hoodie Guy finally could convince Yuvaan to walk back to the Dug Out after Giving him a side Hug and Cap had walked to the crease by then and he also eased Yuvaan a little!And then Cap took just a single as the first hit and My Hoodie guy was back on crease and that was when the same Aussie bowler who got into a heated spat with Yuvaan swang this super aggressive bouncer straight at My Hoodie Guy which actually ended up hurting his very own Wicket Keeper!

Oops.

The bowler did look a little sheepishly embarrassed as the medics were checking up on his keeper!

Well so all in all…that was all the major cricketing Drama that happened until 13 overs!

And now just 7 more Overs !

Goshh I am so excited!.

Totally feel that India has got this!

I am praying Furiously ofcourse!

Okkkk okkk!

I think the play is about to resume now as the Aussie Wicket Keeper now takes his place and Cap and MY Hoodie Guy do chat up with him a little now by the wickets and I think they are checking with him if he is ok and the keeper is smiling now at them and he starts to take his position and My Hoodie guy and the Cap now take their positions and I grin at everyone as we all exchange excited looks and I gesture to everyone that I will keep listening to the commentary now and Rahul winks at me and I wink back at him as I now pay attention to hearing what is being said and what I can hear!

The commentators voice comes through – “ oh and the wicket keeper is back in place, and the play begins and the Indian fans are smiling because they know that this killer combination of the Indian Captain and VICE captain at this point in the game is going to be a treat to watch and probably this is what will take India to the World Cup..”

I smile within.

I prayyyyy within.

Goddddd Pleaseeee.

And the other commentators voice – “ yes indeed they can take India to the World Cup today..and winning this Cup will be almost like A dejavu magic for The Indian Skipper right here at the Wanders Stadium for this was where it all began and India won the first t20 world cup under his Captaincy and this was where it all began for him,the period of his golden captaincy and he knows..he knows..he has the Chance to repeat History at the Wanders and its obviously a power push to the Skipper…and I have said this before and I will say it again…look at that rock solid determination in ASR's body language,its been intimidating for the Aussie bowlers from the beginning and then hes been only been no less than a true gentleman on the field as always,so I am the Aussie team is wondering what can they do to get through to break the Vice Captains spell of cricket today..because there is something very different in his approach today..he fires he anchors he fires and then anchors and then hes also playing calculated shots,not one hit has been a luck by chance or a error of the bat..he knows what is he doing,he knows what he is playing for..”

I SMILE WITHIN – GO FOR IT MY HOODIE GUY I AM AO PROUD OF YOU!

The former commentator – “ and yes in agree that this combination is an epic one and I think that is what they were chatting up about on the pitch a couple of minutes ago..probably discussing a strategy that they need to keep their wickets in hand now surely for India can win this from here but a loss of either of their wickets will put immense pressure on the new batsmen in because we all know because of experience the indian skipper needs only just a couple of balls to settle in but the next one in line for India would need some more time maybe..”

Ohhh yessss pleaseeee Cap and Hoodie Guy..play through the end pleaseeee!! GODDDD PLEASEEEE!!

And I look around and I chuckle as Uncle has asked us all to be disciplined again and just focus on watching the game silently if we want India to win the World Cup..and Oh we are not allowed to get up from our seats haha..uncle said before the second innings began…let’s only get up when celebrating a shot or something like that..no one gets up in anticipation or nervousness,and Rahul and Diya and au ty obviously had a amusing banter with uncle at that – that left Zara,Zain,asher,varun and me in splits by the end of it!

So back to the Game.

Now the first ball gets bowled I catch onto my heart with my one hand and I clutch onto the Locket I was wearing underneath – the locket that MY Hoodie Guy had gifted me and I pray furiously for Them..and India.

And ohhh you guys do Remember what the Locket reads right?

It’s the one he had gifted me after our visit to Cape Point.

I Just clutch onto it hard and I keep praying and watching and listening to the commentary too through my Earphones…!

GOD Please – it’s going to be my Bday in just about a little over 60 minutes for its 1055 right now and…please just let India win this and My Hoodie Guy get the Man of the Tournament…I promise you..I shall never ask you for anything more…Pleaseeee Godddd …Pleaseeee!!!!

After 25 Minutes

I am now very nervous guys as in I am clutching onto my locket very very hard as in ohh don’t worry Cap and My Hoodie Guy are still playing but it’s like they’re been steady yet a little slow like not very but tad bit little because even though the run rate has been maintained it’s still like at this point of the game as in the pressure is building up for now we are at the end of 17 overs and India is at 171..and now only three more overs Left and they need 30 runs to win!

As in I know I know its attainable but still I am very nervous.

Like 18 balls only and 30 runs and the next two bowlers are very tricky.

AND OH MY HOODIE GUY IS BATTING AT 74 NOW AND CAP IS AT 14.Hes been anchoring my Hoodie Guy as he plays to his strength.

And absolutely the Cap or My Hoodie Guy cannot get out at this Stage in a risky shot!

And I look behind for a second and I can see Rahul,zain,varun,asher and uncle exchange worried expressions and right then Asher looks up at me and he gestures me to just smile and relax and then also silently gestures me to keep praying with a lighthearted friendly wink!

I smile now on reflex and I nod at him and I turn around and I continue to prayyyy clutching onto my heart right over my locket.

Ohh Shoot Guysss I am.going crazy for sureeee…and its noticeable!

As in everyone around me is too engrossed but then Asher noticed!

Oh maybe that’s because he I’d right behind us ,he can overlook!

Ohh yessss!

Diya and Zara are still clutching onto my arms from either side very nervous themselves just like everyone in the stands..becuase we all know in Cricket it is never over until the Last Ball.

And so I just keep Prayingggg clutching onto My Locket.

Oh and just in case any of you have forgotten What it Reads

I meet Cap mid pitch now as we both study the Pitch and Cap leans on his one foot keeping a hand on his waist in a little concern as he says – “ so the pitch is starting to get alittle edgy ASR…not good for us for we have no option to just aim for the big shots for we still need a 30 for thr win..and 18 balls…”

I study the pitch myself now as I say – “ yes Cap I know I sensed it to at the last ball of the last over and the next two bowlers that the Aussie Cap will surely send in are brilliant in death and this pitch condition is totally going to suit their strengths..and like you said these two overs are crucial for us too…but…we need to hold onto our wickets at any cost because if any of us fall now..it will be massive pressure..”

I channelise all the positivity and love in my heart and Soul and feel it wash over my Concern and Worry Imemdiately.

I take a deep breathe.

This is perhaps the most crucial point in MY ENTIRE CRICKETING CAREER! LIKE IT TOTALLY FEELS THAT ALL OF WHAT I HAVE DONE CRICKET WISE FOR MY COUNTRY WAS FINALLY BUILDING UPTO THIS maybe..so that I can have a shot with retiring with a complete Bang – having all the major medals in my kitty to look back and be proud off as a international cricketer for my country!

And this emotion that is deep in me for my Game was what also triggered My Sunshine to act so selflessly in our Love!

I rotate my bat in my hand and I look at her secret code looking back at me lovingly and my one hand goes over to the pocket over my padding – Krishs toss coin is with me!

I take a deep breathe and I channelise all the Courage and positivity and Love from Within Me just like I have been doing all through the Game to Get to this Point And I know Cap is doing the Same for this is like a crazy mind pressure moment for the two of Us!

Cap nods – that would be massive pressure indeed…”,and he sighs for a second as he looks up at the crowd in the stadium and I do so too and we can both feel the worry and nervousness in our fans in the stadium and Cap says – “ well they know probably that the pitch is slowing down for us as in I am sure the commentators are talking about it..”

I nod as I adjust my helmet and I say – “ cap who do you think he will give the 17th and then the 18th..”

Cap – “ either ways he will use his main two ace bowlers now but they each have just one over left and then the one youv targeted all day with some massive shota today is left for the last over..”

I take a deep breathe as I look at Cap studying the pitch – “ we take him on then?maybe just bowl these two bowlers out and not take too much risk..and keep our wickets go in for singles maybe..”

Cap looks at me surprised as he grins now- “ and I just had the same thought ASR..the only way we can win this from here..we need to take It to that llast over it will be too much pressure though..but better pressure than to fall at this crucial stage…”

I nod at him in reflex- “ let’s do that Cap..I can handle the last over pressure and I for sure know you can..so let’s do this..” ,and he nods with a smile now and we pump out fists together in strong determination and Cap Adjusts his gloves and I do so too and he winks at me as he says – “ you are going to step into my shoes the day I retire from Captaincy brother.. you will be the Future Captain..you just thought like one and you’v played like One today..I am proud of you my boy..so proud of you…”

My heart swells with emotion for I cant tell him my secret yet but I pat on his arm and I thank him for his faith and trust and I walk.back to the Crease and the most trickiest Aussie bowler comes in to bowl now, and I know the pitch condition is going to suit him perfectly.

Well I am ready for this.

I can do this.

And I will.

For YOU CAP!

And for you My Precious Sunshine!

Fifteen Minutes Later

I smile a little to myself as I walk mid pitch to Cap again at the end of the eighteenth over! We just bowled out those two tricky bowlers as per our mind and game strategy after reading the pitch and took only easy singles – 5 runs per over and we kept our wickets Intact!

So.

We are now 181 -3 in 19 Overs!

But only 6 balls remaining and 20 runs to Win this Cup!

Well the Stadium is EERINGLY silent in Worry!Because everyone is probably thinking that it’s too much Pressure on us both right now – 20 runs off the last 6 balls in the WORLD cup Final.

But what they don’t know is that this is exactly what we wanted!

Because the Aussie Skipper right now has no choice but to send in the only bowler we both can take on!

And I can see the bummed expression his face as he is placing the field now accordingly and adjusting positions around boundary covers because he knows we are now going to go in for the Big Guns and he desperately needs one of our wickets!

Haha!

NOT TODAYYY!

FOR YOUV WALKED RIGHT INTO THE SITUATION WE DISHED OUT FOR YOU!

AND NOW WAIT FOR SOME CARNAGE THAT IS GOING TO TAKE US TO THE CUP!

Cap grins at me as he adjusts his helmet- “ you know what to do ASR we need 20 in six…and you will be facing the first ball of the last over and the first three balls are crucial..”

I nod at him determined – “ I know Cap..” and we punch our fists together and he winks at me – “ send the Stadium roaring Brother like you did with the first ball of the innings..”

I nod at him determined and I now walk back to the Crease!

Its Massive Pressure Moment though In My Head.

And just like that as I am adjusting my gloves again I think – what would my Sunshine be comparing this moment to in her head right now in the stands?

Guys I think she is thinking this moment to be as A high Pressure one like All that intense Heat Pressure in the Pressure Cooker and like almost all of that building up to that crazy Pressuure Point of That Final Heat until the Whistle Finally Blows Off!

Haha!

I can’t believe I just thought that before facing that crucial first ball of the last over in which we need 20 runs!

And I am so glad that I thought that because it immediately relaxed me to another tangent in this Super Duper Pressure Situation!

I looked at my Sunshines Coded Message Lovingly one more Time!

Your are Magic Love..You are Magic!

And I take a deep breathe now as I take my position to face the first ball now and just as it swings in ,I Time it perfectly as I Smash it Straight into the Air right into the Highest Stands in a Massive Uppercut like I did in the first ball of the innings and the crowd and the stadium roars up and Comes to Life immediately and I see the Umpire Smile too as he eyes that six and raises his hands to Signal the Six!

And we are now on to 187 – 3 with that and I see Cap come in to wink at me as he grins at me mid pitch – “ one more my boy..one more..”

I chuckle now and I take my position again and I fire the next ball in My Captains signature Helicopter Shot , a shot I learned from him long ago..straight into the Stands for a MASSIVE sixer Again and the crowd goes Roaring Again.

Hahaha!

I love this!

We are onto 193 – 3 and we have 4 balls remaining!

And we need 8 balls to Win this Guys!

Cap comes onto me as he grins and winks – “ that was a beauty brother and I don’t think you noticed you are at 91 with that brother..”

Really Was I.?

I wasn’t keeping a count on my personal score at all for my eyes were on that Total!

And now Cap literally comes into hug me hard Mid pitch as he says happily Pat’s my Helmet – “ 4 more just 4 more..my Boy and the Cup is ours and you are at 95 now..one more beauty..Future Captain..”

I smile now and I say what’s in my hear holding his arm – “ no…I wont hit a four or a six next Cap..”

Cap looks at me confused – “ huh??”

I smile at him as I say – “I will not take the last ball victory you will..I am going to take a single next and then you are going to smash the ball straight into the stands for a massive helicopter shot that is your signature or the amazing sixer shot you won us the ODI World Cup with back in 2011..remember Cap? The most memorable shot of your Life…I want to watch the view from the other end..for back then I wasn’t your partner in the game as I’d lost my wicket already..but today I have a chance to watch History repeat itself in the world cup final..let me have the view.. and its destined to be this way Cap…you have led us beautifully until now..the winning shot of this world cup too is destined to come off your bat and it will….give me that view ..please..?”

I smile as I see the Aussie Cap chat up with his bowler but he knows, he knows by the resolve in my Skippers eyes..he knows..that the game is Ours..but just like in every sport always..we give it our best shot until the very end no matter what the result and I give the Aussie bowler a pat on his back now and I silently gesture him in appreciation,for his bowling wasn’t bad at all…but this was how it is meant to Be!

And right then I see the bowler run up and swing the second last ball of the over and I grin to myself as I see Cap Smash the Ball straight upto the air in that same nostalgic sixer shot from the ODI world Cup in 2011 and he also has his eyes on the ball in the repeat of the same moment of history and I have my eyes on him as I rewatch MY Golden Skipper repeat History for India in a moment of time that was very poignantly moving and I am moved and right then I also now eye the ball and wait for it to cross the boundary line and just as it does and the Umpire signals a Six and the Stadium around me Erupts to Life with the Cheers and Roar.…My heart bursts with happiness as Realisation sinks in and I grin immediately and I drop my Bat and I run to Cap and hes picked out the wickets in Glee just like he had back in 2011 and the Happiness and the thrill is on his Face and I jump on him in Happiness as I Hug him and I say – “ we did Cap..we Did it…For India with Love…”

Cap hugs me Hard as he says in a EXHILIRATED tone – “ For India with Love..”

JUST LIKE EVERYONE IN THE STANDS STUNNED INTO WORRY AND SILENCE FOR NOW INDIA NEEDS 20 RUNS FOR THE WIN IN SIX BALLS!

LIKE I HAVE CLUTHCED ONTO MY HEART WITH BOTH MY HANDS AND DIYA AND ZARA ARE CLUTCHING ON MY ARMS TIGHLTY TOO IN ANTICIPATION AND I AM SURE EVERYONE AROUND ME IS GOING AS CRAZY WITH NERVOUSNESS AND EVEN THOUGH I WANT TO TURN AROUND I DESPERATELY WANT TO TRUST UNCLES WORD ON THIS AND NOT MOVE IN MY SEAT AT ALL NOT EVEN TURN AROUND.

AND OH MY GOD I AM SO NERVOUS FOR MY HOODIE GUY RIGHT NOW!

LIKE IMAGINE THE PRESSURE HE MUST BE FACING!

And now my eyes fall on the screen as they show a shot blown up on the screen of Cap and MY hoodie guy chatting up in a deep serious conversation and they are also studying the pitch again like they have been doing in the last two overs the 17th and the 18th as they batted only with Singles and took only five runs per over!

And that really created a lot of Tention in the crowd guys because it felt like that this was now totally going to a massive pressure situation straight into the Last Over of the World Cup Final!

And I hear the commentators voice ring in my ears – “ and the indian skipper is reading the pitch condition along with his vice captain again but what a brilliant strategy that was my friend I think this was planned in the sense these two are world class batsmen and they know each other well and we know if anyone can handle this mental pressure it is them…for yes we know these two have the shots in their bats but with 20 runs needed in the last six balls in a World Cup Final – the pressure is Super Intense and we can see that the Aussie Skipper is a little worried because now he has to turn to the only bowler he has left the one knows that these two brilliant world class batsmen can take on fire and hes adjusting his men accordingly in the field at the boundary covers for he knows that they are going to go for the big guns and the AuSsies are desperate for a wicket and the Indiand are desperate to witness some Magic of their golden captain and the charming vice captains bat who has won our hearts today anyway..what a brilliant spell it has been for him…if anyone can do it its them..but will they do it?? Will history repeat right here at the Wanders Stadium in JOHANNESBURG for India 12 years later as they Lift the T20 world Cup for the second time?or will the Aussies get a WICKET now?”

The former commentator – “ and this is pure thrill..I live for this my friend,cricketing drama at it’s best and look at that the captain and his vice captain deep in conversation in the middle of the pitch before the start of the last over and they don’t look frazzled at all,holding onto determination and the mental strength in a way that is commendable.. I wouldn’t say the same about their families though because you can see them very nervous in anticipation in the VIP Box..”

And I look at the screen too as they show the same shot of CAPS familh his Wife,holding onto their little girl in her arms and My Hoodie guys family, looking as nervous as wreck as they stand next to each other and wait for these two men to begin playing the last over.

OHHH I AM A WRECK TOO!

And I HAVENT STOPPED PRAYING EVEN FOR A SECOND!

AND I LOOK AT MY HOODIE GUY NOW WALKING BACK TO THE CREASE AND I FEEL SO PROUD OF HIM FOR THR GRIT ON HIS FACE RIGHT NOOW IS AWE- INSPIRING – as they show a close up of his face on the screen as he takes his position to bat and my heart goes swell a millionth time as I see his eyes fall exactly where iv written my secret code on his bat just like hes been doing at the start of every over in this game.

I close my eyes now in prayer and I just hear the commentary – “ and the ball is bowled and oh myyyyyyy bloodddyyyy cricketing godssss that is a massive Uppercut straight into the highest stands just like one this Man began the innings with…a Massive Sixer..just what India needed..”

I open my eyes in a second as I Jump up with everyone now in pure Glee and I cant stop my Springboard hopping and clapping and hooting as we all take the flag now and hoist it sideways and start chanting India and Indiaaa as we hug onto each other side ways and my eyes fall onto MY Hoodie Guy celebrating with Cap mid pitch.

And now uncle gestures us to sit back in our seats as the second ball is about to be bowled and we listen and my eyes are on the pitch now and I see MY Hoodie Guy smash this second ball also into the stands for a Sixer and the commentators voice comes through- “ oh the drama the thrill..another six off ASRs bat in his aptsins signature helicopter shot and its massive and he reaches 91 with that and look at the happiness on the Indian Skippers face as he cant stop grinning for he has the best view..”

I jump up like a crazy Springboard donkey and monkey at the same time in Sheer Gleee and so do Zara and Diya next to me as we roar and chant India India and their names just like the rest of the stadium!

And right then MY Hoodie Guy smashes the third ball through the fielders in a beautiful cover drive and the happiness on his face as we all erupt upto craziness in our spots again and MY Hoodie guy is on 95 now and India needs like 4 runs from 2 balls and with his momentum its surely going to be a win next ball.

Commentators – “ a beautiful cover drive again of the bat of this world class batsmen as he smashes the Australians dream of the world cup..and look at that happiness on his face as he now hugs and chats up with his Skipper on the field..what do you reckon they are talking right now..”

The other commentator happily- “ I think hes discussing with his cap whether he should finish this off for india with a four or a six…oh my god what a final has it been…three more balls…”

I plug out my one side of the earphone now and all the noise from the stadium falls in my ears and I feel Rahul come down next to us as he asks standing in front of us excited – “ what do you think it will be a 4 or a six..I bet a Sixer…and he will reach 101 not out with that in the FREAKING world cup final…that man is my God..my cricketing God..”,and right then Uncle scolds him – “ rahul get back to you seat now if you want India to lift this cup..”

Asher and Zain and Varun laugh now and let me not even tell you how crazy Varun is right now like if he could head climb up the boxes wall like A spiderman!

Haha!

And Ashers gone crazy too in the moment for hes recording this craze in the box on his phone at the same time as hes joining us all in crazy celebrations and to be honest I didn’t know he could laugh and be so lighthearted as he was being in the Moment!

Zara and Diya toh don’t ask they are now swooning over MY Hoodie Guy to another Level now!

I chuckle now and take back my seat and right then the next ten seconds as the fourth ball of the over is bowled to my surprise and to everyones around me I see MY hoodie guy take a Single as he crosses over.

I am surprised ofcourse!

But the very next moment it clicks in my heart!

I know why he did this!

He always used to tell me that one of the Favoritest shots of his Cap was that Sixer he won India the ODI world Cup with in 2011 and that he was in awe of that moment in time even today!

And I think because I know him in an out – he wants Cap to repeat History and take the victory shot because he respects him deeply , for Cap is his inspirational hero for a long long time now!

And the commentators voice comes through – “ and India lifts the T20 world Cup and lifts it in Swag and Style in a moment that’s almost Surreal and UNBELEIAVLE as it’s a stark moment of time that sees History repeating itself in many ways as India lift the t20 World cup for the second time right here at the Wanders and then ofcoursee the Indian Captain shoots the ball into the air for an aamazing Sixer that took us back in time to that epic game in 2011…oh bloody hell…I would like to thank the cricketing gods above for making us witness a moment in time that shall definetly go down in platinum word in the books and tales of Indian Cricket…”

And my eyes fall onto the screen and pitch on reflex as I see my Hoodie guy run and jump up in happiness and glee at his Cap and we can see the entire Indian team making a run towards them now!

Ohhhhh FREAKKKK goddddd!

I feel so so so happpyyyy!!!

I THINK MY HEART IS GOING TO BURST NOW!

I plug out my earphones now and I shove them back into my bag safely and I hug everyone I sheer happiness and Gleee…and Varun is almost the spiderman, Zain and Asher grinning donkeys and Rahul – a mad Monkey and Zara and Diya like my crazy goofy companions in madness too as we now group hug and Uncle and aunty join us in after hugging each other in gleee too!

And we stop minutes later as my eyes fall.over to the pitch and the screen again ass we see celebrations galore and now my Hoodie guy and Cap get up onto their feet and they finally take off their Helmets and oh my!

I think I am in Heaven as I see the happiness on My Hoodie Guy’s face in the full screen and then they show the full shots of their families too from now the VIP dug outs..Arnavs Mom hugging onto his father and Anjali in sheer gleeful Group Hug!

Ohhhh and now you know what guys I think I want to cry a little!

I smile at him and I take the water and I whisper – “ thanks..”,and oops my voice does come out a little hoarse as I look at Asher and admit with a smile ,wiping my tears– “ well I am just so happy you know, I mean this was my first experinec of watching the match live here at Wanders…you know its surreal its like now I have a new memory of Wander’s a one that I will never forget…look at the Indian team I am so happyyyy and you know I am ASR’s no one Fan…even though Rahul and Varun would like to beat me to it…”,I finish with a chuckle and drink down the water.

Asher smiles at me as he says – “ ofcourse, I understand, and rightly so that man is a completely gentleman, I mean he won all our hearts today with the compassion on the field, that determination to win the Cup for India and those amazing shots off his bat – a 95 not out in the world cup final…it is Amazing Khushi…’

I grin as I tell them – “ super super happy guys like yippppeeeeeeee to the power of inifinity its like I have an epic experience and a new memory here at Wanders , now I wont just look at it as a destination where my krish, mom or dad never reached, I will look at it as the destination where I saw their facourite team and player win the epic world cup final for his country in all glory…and I totally felt like they were there with me right now…watching this…”

Zaara hugs me – “ totally…totally Khushi..and your voice is hoarse too so is mine and Diyas..”

Zain chuckle now – “ well looks like some one will be a little quiet tonight..”,and that earns him a mischevious pump in his arm from his wife and uncle and aunty come hug me and I hug them back and Uncle says – “ cmon lets take our seats now, look at that the men from both the teams are shaking hands now and they are getting ready for the post match presntation..cmon lets sit down I am sure ASR is going to be the man of the tournament too..”

I GRIN NOW.

AND OH YES.

Varun is still jumping up and down like a spiderman almost.

Ok so now Asher gestures me to just gulp down that water with a smile and I do and we all take our seats back and Zara holds my hand – “well I just hope he talks about his Wifi today…like really…the prefect reveal it would be..’”

I smile within he did tell me that he was going to tease the media today a lot and then finally get around too talking about us once we were together in Cape Town!

And I smile as I see the shot of them showing My Hoodie guy hugging his parents and Anjali now near the dug outs and rest of the families hugging the players too as they wait for the post match and tournament celebration.

And just as they are all now walking up to the pitch, the same entertainment reporter catches onto My hoodie Guy as she says – “ASR..congratulations to India and you for this epic world Cup win and you do remember you have to talk to us after the victory celebrations are over..”

Arnav grins cheekily as he says – “ oh yes I remember…we will get on that chat as usual post the victory celebrations..now if youll excuse me, need to rush up for the presentation..”

And I smile within, as I see him join up the rest of the Team near the center presentation are as the ceremony begins and they first call onto the Australian Cap and he gives a very graceful speech and a five minute interview and then he obviously goes on wait with the rest of his team on the ground for the medals which will be awarded later.

And they now call on the Indian skipper and we all start roaring and cheering again and he cant stop smiling now as the correspondence asks – “ captain, you are a very happy man today..ofcourse for that’s History repeated for you in so many ways right here at the Wander’s, Johannesburg..”

We all as in the stadium erupt to our feet again roaring and cheering.

Cap grins and he nods – “ I am obviously a very very happy man today, beyond just happy like you said that was History repeating itself in so many ways that almost felt it was destined, you know we did win the first t20 world cup here at Wander’s…”

The correspondence – “ and that last sixer shot, it was the same nostalgic shot from the icc odi world cup in 2011 at the Wankhede in India that won you the cup for the second time and today too it was that same shot that took India across to the T20 world Cup for the second time here at Wanders – reckon W being your lucky letter, Captain..?”

We all laugh at that and so does the Indian Team and My Hoodie guy is with all his team mates all of them happily smiling in happiness and listening to their Captain.

Cap chuckles now and he says – “ well I think I shall start believing now that W Is my lucky letter, but for that last shot I need to thank my right hand my Vice Captain, that was me walking to me in the middle of the pitch after that beautiful cover drive and telling him that one more boundary and we are through ASR..but he says no Cap, that shot is for you, because I want to see you play that same shot you won us the ODI world cup with from the best seat in the house this time around because the last time in 2011 he had already lost his and it was not us who were playing in partnership at that stage..”

My heart swells in pride!

Diya and Zara – “ what a gentleman ya..”

Rahul – “ Cap obviously would have been so touched like we all are now in the moment..respect man respect..”

Zain speaks from behind me – “ huge respect..for both of them..”

Asher – “ copy that..”

Uncle – “ I always say that – that boy can do anything..he will be a legend just like his captain..not that he already isn’t..”

The rest of his team mates are patting My Hoodie guys back now and they again show Beaming faces of his mom , dad and anjali from the stands.

The correspondence griins as he looks towards My Hoodie Guy – “ well then ASR we have to thank you as much as we have to thank Cap for that beautiful repeat of a historic moment in time..”

I smile as I see My Hoodie Guy grin and gesture that it was Cap who needs to be thanked all the way.

And now they speak to Cap for some more time and he gives a brilliant interview as always commending Australia for a beautiful game played.

And minutes later , we hear the correspondence say – “and for the man of the match of the world cup final, its Arnav Singh Raizada for the brilliant 95 runs not out and that epic maiden wicket over in the first innings and for two amazing catches in the field as well, I am sure we all agree that theres no one more deserving than him for this award today…”

AND EVERYONE AROUND ME STARTS NODDING AND GRINNING AND SO DO I AS I FEEL LOVE GUSH IN MY HEART!

And I see Cap pat My hoodie Guys arm now as he gestures him to get on and take the award and My Hoodie guy cant stop grinning happily as he walks up and takes the award and we all go crazy hooting and cheering for him again and now the correspondence asks him – “ how does it feel ASR? Man of the match in the world cup final..?

Arnav grins now into the mike as he holds onto the award,and takes aadeep breathe – “surreal or you know what actually to be honest, I am still stumped as in I don’t know what to say, I am very very happy, thank you..”

I SMILE WITHIN.

OFCOURSE HOODIE GUY YOU ARE STUMPED WITH EMOTION.

I KNOW YOU GO SPEECHLESS WHEN YOU ARE EXTREMELY OVERWHELMED AND RIGHT NOW I KNOW YOU ARE!

Arnav grins – “ well it is the World CUP Final afterall we were getting a chance to repeat History right here at the Wander’s and we had to make the most of it it was amazing team effort I would like to thank my entire team for we all stepped onto this field with great deternmination today because we wanted to not just do this for ourselves but our Cap too, you know get him that second medal of the t20 world cup win and then also the first for most of us, and my opening partner Shiv who gave me the momentum as we took turns to fire and get us to a good total, and then Kunal obviously for that amazing quick boundaries and then obviously My Captain as always for his brilliant support and trust in me for handing me that crucial over in the first innings…I am very happy and to end this all I can say is that we all did this – for Ourselves and our Captain but most importantly for - India – with Love..thank you so much..”,and he now walks out to the rest of his team.

And then the Aussie opening batsmen takes the award for the highest runs in the tournament beating My Hoodie guy by just three runs to the first spot.

And now we all wait in anticipation for the announcement of the Man of the Tournament award – in my heart its like I kknow its going to be My Hoodie guy and right then I feel Rahul and Diya and Zain and Zara jump on me from behind in a group hug as they say – “ happy bday Khushi…its midnight..”

I smile within – oh was it my Bday already???

I grin at each of them and hug them and then Uncle aunty too and Asher grins at me from his seat as he says – “ happy bday Khushi..may this day be the best day of your Life..”

And I see him smile now as the correspondence calls him again for a quick interview and he asks – “ well that was just a shot of your family on the screen beaming in sheer glee..they are very proud of you today, and so is your country, how does this feel??”

Arnav grins now as he shakes his hand clutching onto the award – “surreal still, I have no words, but I know I want to express my deepest gratitude to my family for their never ending support and love , I mean I wouldn’t be here if my dad hadn’t encouraged my love for cricket as in ever since I started playing he would always keep encouraging me with words like its in your genes son its on you blood, go play go play, make your country proud and ever since last year its changed to son I never knew you had this up your sleeve too for I sure know I didn’t bless you with that gene as in you know how my dad used to be the batsmen…”

And we all chuckle now in the stadium and they show a picture of his father beaming up proudly in the screen.

Arnav continues – “ and then ofcourse my mother, she wont get up from her seat every match I am playing, no matter what the duration, thank you Mom I wouldn’t be here without you and Dad and then ofcourse my sister Anjali for her neverending support to me always and my grandmother who is back in India, thank you dadi..and then ofcourse My team, my coaches, my Captain, for standing by me in one close unit that we are and that empowers us a lot and then ofcourse my country, India, my fans the public for showering me with so much love always, we play for this, its because we know that in India cricket is not just a sport its almost an undeclared religion…like I said before For India with Love”

And minutes later – after they are done with awarding the medals to the Aussie team, the Indian players start to make their way up one by one taking on their medals and we all keep hooting and once they all finish with that and are all about to call on the Indian team to lift that Cup I see most of the family members of the players make their way near the dug outs in anticipation and right then I see Cap ask for a mike as he gestures to the presentors to wait to present the Cup and he asks for a mike surprised everyone and he says into it – “well we are all very eager to pick up the Cup and Have our crazy victory celebrations and as you can see this time around we have most of our family members by the dug outs but this time around, we will not pick up the CUP yet because you all our fans are like our family too who support and love us and to thank South Africa for their amazing love and support and coming out in such large numbers to support us this time we as in each player is going to randomly choose couple of stands where we will come in personally and get a group of fans each down to the stadium to stand right next to our families and watch us lift the Cup and celebrate victory…thank you South Africa for all the love and support to us today and I request all of you in the stadium to take your seats now…”

Varun jumps up in glee – ‘ and I shall prove to him that I am the biggest fan and I am surely going down to the ground then…”

Uncle and aunty – “and the Indian team is winning hearts now on another level with this act of humility for us fans..”

Asher grins – “ well this is fun, I hope its ASR too…I mean look at how much we love him, it should be him..”

I just hide my nervousness by turning around in my seat and I clutch on my locket as I take deep breathes in nervousness.

And right then I hear a Huge roar in the stand right next to ours and we see Ravi descened down the stairs into the stands and he grins as he shakes hands with fans all across the way and comes to lean against the railing at the landing of the Stand in the corner, and he starts chatting up with the fans now and its all blown up on the Screen as the cameras loom in through drones.

And then theres another roar as we spot Cap walk in the stand right next to us on the other side and theres a craze on another level now in there andsome of the fans around us groan in disappointment as Cap repeats the same interaction with his fans and right then theres another drone camera up in the stand next to us too.

And now there are various shots on the screens showing all the rest of the team players enter into different stands – shiv and kunal enter the ground floor ones and then some others enter some randomly on the other levels.

And a couple of minutes later Rahul says – “ well I think most of them have entered the stands except ASR…”

AND I AM STILL SITTING IN FROZEN TO MY SEAT NOT MOVING AT ALL.

I AM VERY NERVOUS!

I CLOSE MY EYES NOW AND I INSTRUCT MYSELF TO CALM DOWN!

Right then I hear a Roar around me as everyone gets up and starts Hooting and Cheering and Diya and Zara hold onto my arm excitedly as they exclaim – “ oh Rahul would have asked for anything today no he would be blessed with it…Khushi…its ASR, he is walking down the stairs into our stand from the top now….”

And he grins now and our eyes lock in a way that only we understand what they are talking intensely and he finally breaks away the eye lock as he stands up from his seat – “ ok then guys I shall reveal to the world who My wifi is in the interview after the celebrations…you know due to public demand and I am such a happy man today anyway…”,and he pauses as everyone hoots around crazily and he waits for that to settle down now and he says with a grin up his face – “ok so I just want everyone to sit in their seats now and I will just go up for a second once be back and then I will just randomly pick out fans who will come with me to the ground before we lift the cup..”

Everyone cheers now and hoots and my mischevious Hoodie Guy now makes his way up towards the stands and I turn around to see his frame going back up the stairs and Varun grins – “ oh just hope its us..”

Rahul winks at me and sticks out his tongue at me– “ oh I have a feeling it can be atleast one of us…hopefully me and not you donkey for you were totally rude to him with all that silence initially..”

And I turn around into my seat now and just as I do, I am surprised to see about two more drone Cameras from both the sides of our stands from where Cap and Ravi were start to hover up in the air towards our stand in the middle and Diya looks at me confused as she asks – “ whats up with that..??”

And right then I hear a voice through the speakers of our stands – “well now that I think of it, I don’t think I want to wait until revealing who you are to the world until later my mysterious WIFI…how about If I reveal this now???for I cant wait and I know nor can the world as everyone is now watching me”

And I now instantly turn in my spot just like everyone around me as we eye to the entry to our stand upwards and I see My Hoodie Guy now grinning like a idiot as he makes his way down the stairs with a mike in his hand I think this mike is attached to the announcement system in the stands because his voice is so loud and he is grinning as he walks back to the spot at the stands landing and leans against the railing and I hear Diya ask in excitedment – “ well ASR, are you going to reveal to us about who your Wifi is right here from our stand????”

Arnav chuckles into the mike as he says – “ about time don’t you think guys..and guess what I got news for you all, My Wifi is right here in this very Stadium and she thought she’d surprise me with her presence but what she doesn’t know is that its she -who is in for the surprise of her Life…for this all part of all of us coming into the stands to see you all fans was obiously planned by me with the rest of my teams support specially Cap..”

I LOOK UP AT HIM AND MY EYES LOCK WITH HIS AND I AM SURE MINE HAVE WIDENED TO CUPS AND SAUCERS AS I SILENTLY ASK HIM WITH MY EYES – YOU KNEW I WAS HERE?

AND BECAUSE OUR EYES CAN TALK EVEN SILENTLY I UNDERSTAND WHAT HES TRYING TO CONVEY TO ME HE ANSWERS WITH HIS EYES – I KNEW!

Arnav grins now as he says into the mike – “ oh yes that’s a good idea, I think I should do this from her stand and…”,he pauses as he gestures someone with his hand to come down and I turn to look up dazed and shocked as I spot a person from his support team walk down the stairs with his bat and a maroon colour cricketing ball.

AND EVERYONE AROUND ME IS MURMURRING AND WONDERING WHATS HAPPENEING AND I AM FREAKING STUMPED TO THE EDGE OF PLANET NEPTUNE AS I JUST SIT FROZEN TO MY SPOT WITH THE WORLD WATCHING OUR STAND – and everyone around me is wondering what is happening as they see his team support person hand him, the bat and his ball.

My eyes lock with his in an intense eye lock and I spot his eyes swim with a zillion emotions as they speak to me silently!

My eyes have welled up in sheer nervousness and Surpriseee now and I just give him a eye gesture that says – I cant freaking believe you!

I take a deep breathe now as I gesture him a affirmation through my eyes and he understands and he now he speaks – “ok so before I get going towards my Wifi’s stand (hes being cryptic again) just like I have a code name for My Wifi…my wifi has a code name for me too..can any of you guess it…”

And he now walks up a couple of stairs right to that spot in front of me and he takes his seat in front of me placing his bat and ball in his lap and looks at Diya and Zara next to me as he asks – “ you ladies, take a guess..what could the code word name for me be? And my Wifi..i know you are watching..i am coming to you..Let these ladies and couple more of my fans take some guesses for I am enjoyin this…”

And he was obviously amused and excited by his very own plan and he was enjoying every bit of his Sunshine’s ordeal ever since he stepped into the stands, for her eyes were totally giving her away – she had been frozen in shock before, and she was nervous and excited too until he finally asked her for consent with that question if she would be ok for this reveal to happen now , because he obviously needed her consent first, he was not going to put her into any spot she didn’t want but her eyes had given her away as they told him that she was ok and he was loving this silent talk in between their eyes anyway for whilst everyone in the stand looked confused, puzzled, excited and lost,the two of them knew what exactly they were upto.

This was Fun.

And now as he sat in front of her again with the mike in his hands and the bat and ball in his lap as he waited for Diya and Zara to take a guess on his code name, he was finding it very difficult to bite back his laugh.

And so was She.

And you know who else was trying to bite back his laugh?

For he was loving what he was seeing in front of him.

And Khushi now just narrows her eyes at her Hoodie Guy in a mischevious gesture that told him that she could have fun too and that made Arnav chuckle within as he challenged her with a look – The Mikes coming right next to you My Sunshine

Zara says confused as she looks at her favourite player from the Indian team – “ well I don’t know what could your code word be..i mean for you…VC maybe since you are the vice captain??”

Diya looks in awe at her Cricketing Crush and she says with a little smile – “ why don’t you give us a hint ASR…”

And right then everyone else starts hooting and saying – “ yes give us a hint please..”

And Arnav now grins as he says into the mike – “ ok ok..so fair enough guys since the world is watching, how about we give this silent lady in front of me a shot at one guess maybe, and then I shall give away my hint..”

Everyone hoots around him,and Arnav grins right now as he shoves the mike in front of Khushi as he says – “take a guess Miss..”

And Khushi narrows her eyes at him as her eyes twinkle back at him mischeviously , for the excitement and the thrill of the moment had obviously driven her insane and she takes the mike from his hand and her fingers touch his over the mike and she knows they both felt that sudden jolt of electricity they always feel at each others every touch and Khushi straightens her voice as she says gathering all her guts into the mike– “ ok so my voice is a little hoarse from all that hooting and cheering in the match..but I think ASR if I were to take a guess now then I think maybe your code word has something to do with a special moment in time in between you and your Mysterious Wifi..?”

Arnav grins now, loving this to the core and he says into the mike – “ well I will have to give you that…”,and he looks around at everyone now and he grins as he says getting up from his seat – “ so yes the code word she has for me has something major to do with a very special moment in time that moment being when I first met her…”,and he now gets up grinning at Khushi and he now stands at the staircase in between of Khushi’s and her near and dear ones row and he says looking at Rahul – “ hello..will you please hold my bat for me??”

Rahul looks at his Cricketing God zapped and hocked and frazzled, and he couldn’t believe his stars that he was getting to hold his bat,and he just takes it grinning and Arnav smiles at him as he says – “ please hold onto it for a second..”

And Arnav now walks further down towards the row of where Khushi’s uncle was sitting and he says – “ uncle you are the only one who has been enjoying this silently, why don’t you hold my ball..”,and Khushi’s Uncles eyes widen in shock just like his sons as he nods and holds the ball given to his hand anyway. He Looks at his Wife now in happiness and Arnav looks at Khushi’s aunty as he turns to the Uncle – “ she is your wife right Uncle?? Hello aunty my regards to you..”,and now Arnav walks out of the row and he winks at Asher mischeviosuly and Asher bites back his laugh and he shakes hands with varun and Zain on the way out of the row again so that he is now standing in between the two rows and hes obviously seeing Khushi’s epic expressions because he knows she is starting to guess in her head what he was upto.

And he know holds onto the Mike as he speaks for the world to listen and the Camera drones to record – “ well I have been giving a lot of hints to the world anyway by being cryptic so like I said my code word has everything to do with the fact of how I met her, and before I get to that let me tell you all that I met her right here in your very country in Cape town on the 16th of feburary, last year when we were ontour there and that’s why I always hinted on mikes whenever asked that I loved Cape Town…”

Rahuls eyes widen in surprise now as he looks at his wife and his donkey sister Khushi as he mouths – “ his wifi is from cape Town guys, who knew..who knew…”

Diya and Zara now are murmuring amongst themselves puzzled to just lik everyone in the stands and Zain and Varun look at Asher as he states – “wow..cape town…we didn’t think of that..”

And Uncle and aunty are speculating too and Khushi is biting back her smile.

And Arnav grins now as he says into the mike, taking a deep breathe because he knew that his very next sentence his first going to give away his identity to Khushi’s nears and dear ones and so he says taking a deep breathe – “ so the first time I met her, I was dressed in a very weird get up guys that she almost mistook me for a criminal or a thief…”,and everyone chuckles at that now and Khushi bites back her laugh as she smiles within at the memory and she turns around fully sideways now to face Arnav and their eyes lock and he now says – “and that is why her code word for me is and always has been Hoodie Guy…and to her near and dear ones even today the secret code she uses for me is My Hoodie Guy…”

Rahul couldn’t believe his ears at that as he gaped at the Indian Vice captain – his cricketing God in shock as he his eyes grew wide as he heard him say the code word My Hoodie Guy.

Diya hands froze in air midway as she gaped at Khushi in shock.

Zara’s mouth dropped wide open as she gaped at Khushi in shock and Varun immediately jumped up from his seat as he exclaimed – “ holy freaking shit ASR…you are hoodie guy???? Youuuuuuuuuu??????oh my god….”,and he gapes at his friend in shock too

Asher grins – “ well I am , but I am more amused right now …”,and he sees his friend nod and believe that because he is in shock too.

And Uncle and Aunty have both frozen to Statue in their spots.

And now Arnav says into the Mike – “ and now I am going to switch off this Mike and hand it over to my Wifi, before I get to talking to her near and dear ones for a bit for they are obviously very surprised and shocked at the revelation of my identity…”

And everyone else around in the crowd is murmuring – “ what does he mean he is going to give his mike to her to hold means she has been in this very stand all this while????”

One other fan – “ ohh my goddd guysss….i am getting this on record….”

Another fan – “ oh my god his wifi has been right here under our very nose..who is she , who is she??”

And all the other fans are now murmuring and going beserk in the stands with curiosity each looking at evry possible girl into the stands and now Arnav chuckles as he switches on the mike – “ ok Wifi, about time I came take you first and maybe you hold my hand and we talk to everyone together…and oh guys its My Wifi’s bday too today so I guess my this surprise to her and you all is just in time..”,and his eyes lock with Khushi’s now whose eyes are welling up with emotion as she now sees Arnav walk down a step and comes and takes the same spot in the seat in front of her as he holds his hand out to her – “ cmon then Love, about time you give your hand to me now..”

RAHUL FEELS LIKE HE IS LITERALLY GOING TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK!HE COULDN’T FREAKING BELIEVE THIS – HOODIE GUY WAS ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA AND KHUSHI WAS WIFI??? AND HE LOOKED AROUND AT ZAIN, VARUN, AND HIS PARENTS AND Asher in the row next to him in sheer shock still as he gestured to them that hes going crazy within.Varun was jumping up and down in glee though and Zain was very amused by the scene unfolding in front of him his heart now truly happy as he connected the dots and recalled ASR’s conviction in his love for his WIFI in the media over months and he was guessing that this was the reason for Ashers amused reaction too and Uncle and Aunty were still frozen in shock but they were now smiling at each other as realization dawned on them too as they all started to connect the dots in their head.And even Rahul was connecting the dots in his head as it worked in a overdrive but he was totally feeling like he was going to get a heart attack in real still for his heart was racing so fast at the realization that the man he literally worshipped as his Cricketing Gods was Hoodie Guy whom he’d smashed with his bat imaginarily in his head a lot of times because he was very nervous about his identity.And now to know that this Donkeys Hoodie Guy was Arnav Singh Raizada – for him to say that it was the shock of the bloody century even would be an understatement.

Diya and Zara are still frozen in shock as they gape at the sight of ASR holding his hand out to Khushi and Khushi is biting back her smile now as she finally places her hand into Arnavs and he kisses it immediately he gets up and Khushi gets up now too holding his hand and she feels she is totally hypnotized by the thrill of the moment as she walks out her row now and meets him on the staircase as he walks out his row and he grins down at His Sunshine as he says, his eyes locking with hers as he kisses her hands , pulling her a little closer– “ I need to hug you first Sunshine..can i? the world is watching..i hope that its ok??”

Khushi looks into Arnav’s eyes zapped and excited by the moment and just as she nods her head half way through she is pulled into a hard hug by Arnav right there as his arms wrap around her waist possessively and he holds her tight and whispers in her ears – “ I love you Sunshine, I love you so so so goddamit much....”,and Khushi is gobsmacked and moved to another level but she hugs him hard as she buries her herself in his arms and holds onto him tight and hard as she hugs him silently, for her voicebox has truly crashed in emotion.

And The Cameras goes flashing around them almost instantly as every fan in the stand couldn’t believe that this girl ASR had been talking to first on the mike was his WIFI and every one was now thrilled and amused by the dramatic charade out up by the Indian Vice Captain as he hugged onto his Mysterious Wifi as if she was his Life , which the world had already heard she was - right there in the first balcony stands of the the Wanders Stadium for the World to Watch and crazy Hooting and Cheering now began in the crowd all around the stadium and the picture of them hugging was now being flashed on the screen too in and the entertainment reporters were having the field day already!

Arnav now pulls back many minutes later and he kisses Khushis forhead now and wipes a happy tear out of her eye now and he says looking into her eyes and cupping her face tenderly – “ happy bday Sunshine..happy bday to you..”,and he pulls her into an instant hug one more time giving a damm to the fact that the world was watching!

ALL OF KHUSHI’S NEAR AND DEAR ONES FINALLY INTSTRUCTED THEIR BEINGS TO GET PULLED OUT OF SHOCK NOW AS THEY ALL FELT A WARM SMILE NOW COME UP THEIR LIPS AS THEY SAW THE SIGHT OF ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA HOLDING ONTO KHUSHI IN HIS ARMS AS IF SHE WAS HIS PRICELESS TREASURE.

And Rahul continues to gape at the sight with a smile up his face in shock though and right then he sees Arnav pull apart and he holds Khushis hand now and they walk into the row now and he offs the mike and hands it to Khushi – “will you hold this for me Love?”,and Khushi just takes it in her hand and walks next to him silently happy and nervous at the same time and now Arnav comes to a hault straight in front of Rahul as he looks at his shocked and frazzeled yet now smiling face as if he had comprehend the truth and yet was finding it difficult to digest and he speaks taking a deep breathe – “ so the reason I gave you my bat to hold Rahul because I obviously know from Khushi that youv been so worried about who her hoodie guy is that you would often say to her that you would smash his face with your bat if he turned out to be shady or you felt his intentions weren’t true, and so I just want to tell you, maybe use my bat to smash my face if you feel in the future that any of my actions ever hurt Khushi…but I wont ever do anything to hurt her I promise you that, and I want to assure you that because I love her more than anything in the world….”

And Rahul can only look back at his Cricketing God in daze and he now narrows his eyes at Khushi as he gapes at her – “ I cant believe you would tell him that…how could you donkey????”

Arnav chuckles now and he pats Rahuls shoulder and pulls him to a brotherly hug as he says – “ thank you for always being there for Khushi and to all of you for loving her the way you do..”and he now pulls back and sees Rahul is still dazed in shock and he chuckles now as he says – “ ok im going to meet your dad and mom now and everyone else too now and I will come back to you..”,and he now walks hand in hand with Khushi behind him as he greets Zain and thanks him for being like a brother to Khushi and then Asher too and he mischeviously exchanges a glance with him that tells him to still keep their previous meeting a secret and Asher nods excitedly and happily and then Arnav meets Varun next as he greets him and Varun is like in a different Crazy zone al together as he cant conceal his excitement at all as he rants – “ you are hoodie guy, you…so iv been preparing coffess in your name for all these months and not knowing the real reason behind it..oh my bloody god…”,and Arnav chuckles and all this while Khushi is just zapped standing behind him in stunned Happiness for she cant explain what she is feeling and now Arnav finally reaches Khushi’s Uncle and touches his feet and then he sits next to him says to him – “and Uncle youv been like a father figure to Khushi so I want to tell you that please smash this ball in my face if you ever feel that your Khushi is unhappy with me, but I promise you that such a day will never come, as long as I live..”and Uncle smiles now and he pats Arnav’s arm lovingly and he says – “ I am still in a little shock..give me some time son to get out of it..”,Arnav chuckles now and he moves to aunty whose feet he instantly touches too and he says getting up a second later - “I know youv been no less than a mother to Khushi after the loss of her family…thank you aunty..”,and she pats on his arm lovingly too still unable to get out of shock and Arnav now finally moves to Zara and Diya and he chuckles as he says mischeviously – “ well I do know from Khushi that the two of you are my big fans too, and I would like to thank you both for being no less than sisters to Khushi…”

Diya and Zara grin happily now as they shake hands with Arnav and they look at Khushi all zapped behind him still and give her a look like – you are so dead Khushi..how dare you keep this as secret for this long and Diya narrows her eyes at Khushi as she silently gestures her to ask – I hope you didn’t tell him about our crushes on him..and Khushi gives them a sheepish smile and Diya and Zara look at her with a look like we are going to kill you Khushi.

And now Arnav Finally pulls Khushi to a spot right at the corner of the balcony Stands railing and makes her back face the railing and he now turns around and gestures her support team mate to walk down to him and the world is zapped as they see the team support person now walk down the steps grinning like an idiot with Arnav’s man of the tournament trophy and Arnav holds it now and walks up to Khushi whose eyes have widened to Cups and saucers again as she looks at him dazed and confused and Arnav grins and wins and gives her a mischevious wink and he takes the nike from her hand and he switches it on and he says into the Mike –“ well your surprise isn’t over yet love..it isn’t over yet…”

And he now pulls back and holds my hand and he makes us walk up the steps and I see Arnav look at everyone of my near and dear ones as he says into the Mike – “ I want all of you to come down with me to the ground for we are family now…and rahul keep my bat safely with you for now I will take it after the celebrations ..” and Rahul beams at him still grazed and Diya is holding onto his arms as if still trying to make him believe that all of this was really happening and it wasn’t a Dream and Arnav now grins at the fans in the stand - “ and maybe how about if all of you fans in this stands come down to the ground too for youv been with me in the most important moment of my Life guys..and guys my teammates let’s get to the ground now..thank you so much for helping me out on this guys…let’s pick up that World Cup Now…”

Minutes Later – Khushi's POV continues

Just as we reach the Dug Outs which is reserved for all the players near the ground, I see Arnavs Mom,Dad and Anjali rush towards us now and Arnavs dad grins as he walks up to us and pulls Arnav into a crushing hug as he states – “ and that was epic my son…I was telling your mother that she’s given you her fair share of dramatic Gene’s to you too..”, and we both chuckle now on reflex as he now kisses my forehead- “ Khushi…finally…we get to meet you….” And I just nod at him happily and I am wondering how to greet him right when Arnavs Mom pushes his dad aside as she says – “ oh move you Raizada let me hug my daughter first…I have been dying for this moment for a long time now and in come you as usual trying to steal my thunder” ,and she instantly pulls me into a warm hug and I feel overwhelmed like never before in her motherly embrace and she pulls back minutes later and she kisses my forehead and cups my face lovingly as she says – “ mom…you will call me Mom…”

My eyes are filled with Happy tears again as I just hug her again totally overwhelmed and she pulls apart minutes later as she looks at Arnav and she winks – “ and my son you surely can stage up a brilliant act..maybe let’s explore theatre back together..” and she now happily hugs Arnav and I am instantly pulled into another hug by Anjali too and she says – “ ohhh finally…like after ages..and I am still so bummed that Ravi got to meet you first..” and I just hug her back and smile and she happily hugs Arnav now and she says – “ wow bhai..just wow…”

And I turn around immediately and Cap engulfs me into a side hug now and he grins at me as he says – “ we gotta catch up.. but first I need to take your man for a bit..we gotta lift that Cup..cmon all of you out near the dug outs the team is waiting and so are the fans that we all got down from our respective stands and I had them enter the ground from the other side…” , and I nod at him and u turn to Arnav and our eyes lock in an intense gaze as he kisses my hand again – “ be back in a bit Sunshine…our forever has only just begun…”,and I nod at him happily and I kiss his hand now and I whisper looking into his eyes – “ cmon now go lift that Cup Love…”

And he grins at me and he turns around t everyone as he says – “ ok everyone cmon out now let’s do a big meet and greet in a bit..I need my family my entire family to be on the ground as we Lift that cup..”, and he looks at me again and kisses my forehead again – “ see you soon Love..”

I smile at him as I say – “ see you soon..now go go go…lift that Cup..” and Cap and MY Hoodie make their way out to the ground and we all follow.

And I am still in a lot of Daze as I step onto the ground and I now have Arnavs family stand next to me on one side and all of my side on my other side as we all watch in sheer glee along with the rest of the excited happy family members of the Indian team players and a huge fan crowd too on the other side of right where a section has been created for all the fans – as the entire InDIAN TEAM NOW LIFTS THE T20 WORLD CUP IN SHEER GLEE AND EXCITEMENT and now the crazy victory celebrations begin for them as they now go crazy taking pictures against that T20 World Champions banner and its Surreal Guys!

This is FREAKING Surreal!

He MAKES MY LIFE A FAIRYTALE!

AND HOW CAN I EVER THANK GOD ENOUGH FOR BLESSING ME WITH HIM?

I Wipe my Happy tears now as I watch the Happiness on Arnavs face as he celebrates the World Cup Victory!

And Jumping up and down in Glee!

And I love him more than anything in this world!

And now I feel my stomach knot in a Very Carnagically Magical knots as I remember his words – Our Forever had ONLY just Begun!
