Chapter:13 Jeevika: [still dazed, went out of hospital] Maa, aap! Mom: YES, it's me Beta, how are you? Jeevika: [controlling her tears] Fine! Aur aap! Mom: Don't tell lies, you are hiding ur sadness from me, I know you are really sad thinking about me. Infact, everything's my mistake. I shouldn't have behaved like that with you. Jeevika: [Weeping] Maa, please don't tell like that. Mom: Please don't stop me from repenting over my mistake. I understood its all my mistake, from the same day u left the house. I wished to call u, and apologise you, but my scare forstalled me to do so. I thought u'll never forgive me.Jeevika: Me? How can u ever think of like that?
Mom: I've been treating u like a caged bird ever since u migrated to London. I thought u'll be corrupted going there, infact i was so over-protective about you. I never supported u in fulflling ur dreams, u wished to be a musician , but i discouraged u! It's all my mistake. If Viren, wouldn't have called me and but me realise my mistakes, I would've never called u Beta... [sobbing]
Jeevika: [moved aback] Vv...viren called you!
Mom: Yes, he called me 1/2 hour back, he even apologised to me for behaving rudely that day. Have to say beta, eventhough we did mistake marrying u early and not hearing your words, but now me and your dad never regrets about that. We're happy cz we found such a loving and caring husband like Viren. Ur so lucky my child.
Jeevika: [wiped her tears, smiling] I know. Maa, u aren't angry with me right!
Mom: No way Beta, I love u! Ur my best daughter.
Jeevika: Love u Maa...
Manvi snatched the phone from her mom!
Manvi: Oyye, bas kar yeh TV serial, Di, Bhai rocked again this time. Didn't he? Acha, i'm gonna give u a shocking and a terrific news to u. I'm sure u'll get horrified hearing this.
Jeevika: [confused] What happened? Sab theek hai na... Papa...
Manvi: [bored, yawning] Buhh... Papa is fine, asusual infront of TV! U've spoiled my mood. Ok fine, i'm coming to see u... Now u'll be taken aback right😉
Jeevika: [without any reaction] Ok, So...
Manvi: Di, u aren't scared because I'm coming there to disturb you!
Jeevika: No, cz life is mixture of everything... One or the other day, u'll have to face windstorms in ur life😆
Manvi: [jawdropped] What??? How dare u?
Jeevika: [laughing] When ru coming?
Manvi: Date not confirmed, but right after my xamss, i'll be there. For three days...
Jeevika: Just for three days???
Manvi: Haan di...
Jeevika: Mannu... tum bhi ... oh shit! My patients r waiting for me, gotta go, bye.
Manvi: Di... wait, give a big thank u hug to Jeeju k.
Jeevika blushed.
Jeevika was continuously looking at the time. But the time remained stable without moving. She got irritated seeing it. She wished to get a time machine, so that she could easily change the time to 9:30 pm. She was having an important surgery today! After finishing all her work, she was ready to go but the nurse interuppted her.
Nurse: Dr. are u leaving?
Jeevika: Yes, since my duty hour is over!
Nurse: [depressed] Ok!
Jeevika: What happened to u? Why do u look so downcast?
Nurse: Frankly speaking Dr, Dr.M has asked to re-arrange some files, it'll take almost 2 hours and there's noone to help me, my kids r nt well, i want to reach there early, but I'm stuck here. If u don't mind...
Jeevika: [looks at the time] Ok give me the files...
Both of them started to arrange the files. Within 1/2 hour they completed their work.
Nurse: Thank u so much Dr, without you I won't be able to complete my work. I knpw its not part of ur duty, may but God will bless u Dr.
Jeevika: Don't mention it! Waise, it's 10! How will i reach home now?
Nurse: Don't worry my husband will reach here within 5 secs. He'll drop us home.
Jeevika reached the apartment, she thanked the nurse and left to her flat. She opened the door. She found Viren sleeping on the hall. He woke up hearing the noise.
Viren: Oh Jeevika, ur late today! U look tired too.
Jeevika: I want to tell u something...
Viren: Uh...oh... not now, go get freshen up!
Jeevika: But Vi...
Viren: ehummm... no buts.. Do what i say? I mean what Big Boss says!
Jeevika:[frowned] Hello, ur the boss only in ur office, but here ur my husband k!
Viren: Yeh ladki kabhi nahi sudrengi.
Jeevika sneezed and went to washroom.
Later when she came back, she found Viren arranging the table.
Jeevika: Viren, u really don' t have to do this!
Viren: Anything for u... nd we are already late today. Remember early to bed early to rise. [Jeevika was coughing.] U ok?
Jeevika: I'm fine!
After dinner, she got up to wash the plates, but Viren stopped her from doing so.
Viren: U cooked the food today, so I'll wash the plates.. just like Division of Labour!😃
Jeevika looked at Viren washing the plates. She was lost in thoughts. He was always there to help her, he supported her both at her good and bad times. But she never have done anything for him. She felt bad. Tears rolled down from her eyes. Viren noticed this.
Viren: [went near her] Oh no... Not again, Jeevika don't cry. just because I'm washing the plates, my hands won't get rough. It'll remain soft like u😆
She gave him a tight hug cluctching his shirt tightly.
Viren: Jeevika... u...
Jeevika: Thank u so much Virenji for supporting at my good and bad times. Without your help, mom would'nt have called me. U've done all this for me, and I never done anything for u...
Viren: [cupped her face] Ur presence is everything to me my wife, then why should i need ur help!
She hugged him tightly. He too hugged her smiling.
Jeevika: Viren...
Viren:Mmm
Jeevika: I want to tell something to u...
Viren: U can unless u promise u wont cry again!
Jeevika: I... V...virenji... I l..lo...
[Just then Viren's phone rang, he went to take it, Jeevika looked at him disappointed, ran to the room, Viren was confused seeing this.]
Sun rised, Jeevika woke up streching her hands. She looked at Viren and found him sleeping next to her, his hand tightened on her waist. She smiled at him, drapped her hand on him. He opened his eyes.
Viren: Good morning...
Jeevika: Morning...
[She woke up but Viren pulled her towards him, she fell on him]
Viren: [grinned] U forgot to give me, my 'Morning Kiss'
Jeevika: Acha... if my memory is correct, I never gave u anything like that before.
Viren: But from now onwards u can start doing that, ur sad because u never have done any favour 4 me rite... U don't have to regret now...😛
Jeevika: Oh, tum situations ka advantage le rahe ho kya!
Viren: Nahi, romance karne ki koshish kar rahe ho... [Rolled on top of her, Jeevs shocked]
Jeevika: Leave me Viren...
Viren: Not till u give me that!
Jeevika: Whateva... [leaned towards him, grimaced at him] V..v iren what's there in ur face? Oh god, take it off?
Viren: [touched his face] What?
By the time Jeevika jumped up from ur face...
Jeevika: In ur face... haha...
She went to the hall and saw something over there covered with a cloth... She opened it and found a brand new piano. Viren popped up...
Viren; [sidehug] do u know what's the speciality of this day?
Jeevika: 18 of Jan!
Viren: do u remember our marriage, the day u came to my life!
Jeevika: [blushed] yes...
Viren: Happy 2nd month anniversary Aga Bhai!
Jeevika: Aga Bhai? Not again Viren...
Viren gave her a naughty smile, made silly face and ran, Jeevika ran after him...
