Chapter 2

Khushi stands there unaware of everything around her.Slowly she moves towards the open ground a little away from the crowd. Arnav's words echoeing in her head. She feels a hand on her shoulder which jerks her to turn around.There stands a diabolical figure with the most evil smile on his face suddenly trying to turn in a worry

Shyam: what's wrong khushi ji? Where is Saal e sahab? I'm not late, m I?

Khushi pushes him away and tries to walk past him but shyam being much faster than her grabbed her hand and dragged her a little far

Shyam: Give those papers Khushi ji?

Khushi finally freed herself from his grip

Khushi: Never think of getting those papers shyam ji before telling Arnav ji the truth about your

past!

an evil smile appearing back on his face

Shyam: Our past khushi ji not just mine

Khushi: It is only because of you that I have a disgusting past and it is all your fault that Arnav ji hates me today,I will not let you get away with this that easily.You will pay for what you have done!

Shyam: We will see about that Khushi ji but for now I need those papers more than anything and you are going to give them to me!

Khushi: No,not even in my wildest dreams I would ever give you those papers unless and until you state the truth infornt of Arnav ji and admit that I m not to be blamed for anything that happened,it was entirely your fault!

Shyam: We'll be when he returns

And with an evil smirk he walked away.Khushi walked towards the entrance of the Airport ans stood where Arnav had left her. Tears started to wellup once again but she wiped them away and walked towards the road.She took a cab and went back home. As soon as she entered RM,she saw everyone sitting in the living room. Everyone stood up as They saw her enter but she quitely walked to the stairs and ran up to her room. Payal tried to go behind her but Anjali held her by the shoulder

Anjali: Chote left for abroad for the first time after their marriage,maybe that's why Khushi ji is upset, We should give her sometime alone to get back to normal.

Payal just nodded and looked at Akash ,he smiled reassuringly as if trying to say "She'll be okay"

Khushi entered her room closing the door behind her and slid down leaning against it. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she began

Khushi: Please come back ,don't leave me,I can't live neither without you nor with the fact that you think I'm a gold digger when I'm not. Please Arnav ji come back. You have to believe what I said, I'm nothing without you nothing,please come back for me please.

Suddenly she felt some tickling feeling in her stomach and she ran to the washroom. She came back and sat on the couch holding Arnav's pic close to her heart and fell with a thud on the couch. She fell asaleep in the same position with arnav's pic glued to her heart.

At the Airport:

Arnav left Khushi but he still felt that she was telling the truth,that she was around him but he shook his head to comeout of his thoughts but they were'nt going to leave him that easily,Khushi's teary eyes were stamped in his head,

"Was she telling the truth?"

"What if she was telling the truth?"

"What if I misunderstood her?"

He decided to leave the flight and go back to give Khushi another chance to prove her innocency. Someone patted on his shoulder and he turned :

Persone: Sir,are you Arnav Singh Raizada?

Arnav: Yes, I'm, why?

Persone: Sir we have something important to talk to you about ,please come with us for a second

Arnav walked with the man and once they were alone in a corner ,some from behind hit him hard on the head and everything went black before his eyes.

At Raizada Mansion:

Everyone had retrieved to their rooms and went to sleep.

Next morning as khushi wokeup she felt her head spinning but she did'nt pay attention to it and stood up. As she stood up Arnav's pic fell down and the frame broke into pieces, she quickly bent down and picked up his pic and looked at the broken glass pieces. Her heart started sinking on the thought

"Could this mean,Arnav ji is in danger?"

"No no, it was just a frame" she thought refusing to believe that Her Arnav ji could ever be hurt.

She Freshened up herself and left the room. As she walked down she saw shyam sitting with Anjali and talking to her about one of his cases. He saw her walking down the stairs and smiled at her.

She ignored him and went into the kitchen and strated helping Payal with the breakfast. At the breakfast table Shyam tried twice to sit with Khushi at Arnav's seat but instead Khushi sat on Arnav's seat and pulled Payal to sit beside her. Shyam left with no choice had to sit beside Akash and Anjali.

He was fuming with anger. But he was relaxed at the next thought and again started smiling his evil smile.

Khushi saw this and she felt suspicious

Khushi: Is he upto something again? She thought and continued her breakfast.

After the breakfast Khushi and Payal were cleaning up the table. Anjali walked to them and started helping and talking to them. She noticed that Khushi was lost somewhere

Anjali: Khushi ji are you ok?

Khushi did'nt respond

Anjali: Khushi ji, where are you lost?

Khushi still did'nt respond

Anjali patted on her shoulder and khushi shivered

Khushi: haan,haan Di what happened?

Anjali: Khushi ji are you ok? Are you feeling well?

Khushi: Yes Di,I'm fine just a little tired,I think I should go and rest for somewhile.

Anjali: Yes you should and go right now and come back when you are feeling well.

Khushi smiled and nodded her head. She was walking to the stairs when her head started spinning again. She held her head in her hand and with the other held the reeling. Everything was blurry before her eyes and she fell to the floor with a thud. Anjali and Payal turnded around and saw khushi on the floor unconcious. They yelled

Anjali: Khushi ji!

Payal: Khushi!

And they ran towards her and payal laid her head on her lap. Anjali was rubbing her palm against khushi's when Nani and everyone else came running.

Mami: Hello hi bye bye! What happened to phatti sari?

Nani: Manorama you stay quite,akash we should take khushi bitiya to the hospital right now. Her face looks pale. She was'nt looking too good yesterday night.

Akash took khushi in his arms and ran to the car. Payal came running behind him. Anjali was also behind them.

Akash: Di you should stay at home with Nani and others,Payal and I'll take khushi ji.

Anjali: No akash, I have to go with her,besides Chote is also not here, I have to be with her.

Akash nodded and drove them to the hospital. They entered the hospital and Khushi was immediately taken in for checkup. Anjali was still crying and Payal was consoling her. Payal looked at Akash with teary eyes

Akash: Don't worry khushi ji will be fine.

After sometime the doctor walked out of the room and walked to them. Three of them stood with the same question on their faces:

Anjali,Payal and Akash: How is Khushi?

Doctor: You should'nt be worried about her and I have a good news.

The doctor smiled at them and they looked at each other

Akash: What good news?

Doctor: Congratulations Mr.Akash, Mrs.Raizada is pregnant.
