Chapter 2

Roli & Simar wanted to talk to Sameer & Sanjana about their marriage, but Sameer & Sanjana get ready for college the next day. 

After they reach college, they go to the disco during the break. Sameer & Sanjana dance with their friends on the song

Samir & Sanjana went home. After checking the time-table, they realize the next day is their internal exam & are afraid of how they will clear the exam as they have not even touched their books. Sameer & Sanjana decide to study & appear for their internal exams. The next day, they go to the class to write their exam. Sanjana manages to copy while Sameer is a little nervous but eventually writes down the points with some elaboration. Sanjana is happy that she managed to copy while Sameer gets tensed about his results. The next day, Sameer gets up in the morning. Simar sees him & asks, "Where are you going?"

Sameer: I'm going to the temple, so I get good results.

Simar: You have done well in your exams. Why are you scared?

Sameer: I'm a little nervous.

He goes to the temple & sees his friend there. Both pray to Lord Ganesha. Sameer's friend asks, "You have copied word to word, but why are you scared?"

Sameer: Yes, I did copy but don't know whether I could do it properly. Looking at the lecturer, I got sweat.

Both keep praying.

After they finished praying, Sameer calls up Sanjana & asks, "How was your paper?"

Sanjana: I passed.

Sameer: Congrats, Then even I passed.

Sanjana: No, you failed. You don't even know to copy properly. Useless fellow!

Prem overhears the telephonic conversation & takes the phone from Sanjana.

Sameer: I am planning for the trip to Lonavala. Please arrange for some money.

Prem: Come home; I will give you Rs. 12,000.

Sameer: What happened to your voice Sanjana?

Prem: I am your father's friend.

Sameer is unable to believe.

Rosid and Premar meet at the garden where Sameer & Sanjana are sitting.

Sid: When you have failed in the first Semester, what will you pass in the final exams? From now on, no petrol for your bike, no cable for your TV, no battery for your walkman. It would help if you only focused on your studies.

Sanjana giggles.

Prem: No need to laugh. Just because you have passed, don't think that you know everything. You have barely passed.

Prem & Sid: You guys should start studying from 7 am. Otherwise, no breakfast for you.

They leave.

Simar to Sameer: Don't get disheartened. If you study hard, you will certainly pass.

The next day,

The alarm rings. Sameer & Sanjana get up. They start listening to music in the bathroom while brushing their teeth.

Rosid & Premar had not yet got up from sleep.

Suddenly Sid & Prem get up & are out for jogging.

Sid: There's no need to wake up, everyone. I know how much you guys are studying.

They start jogging.

Sameer & Sanjana start studying. 

Sanjana falls asleep. 

Simar comes to the room and wakes her up. 

Simar: Sameer is studying & you are sleeping.

Sanjana: I was studying, but I found the subject to be boring. So I slept. Oh, I am sorry. Sameer told me that he is not studying and is before the books! Cunning fellow! 

She goes to Sameer's house and sees him reading. 

Sanjana: It is sunset, and you are still reading.

Sameer: For me, it is sunrise.

Sanjana: What are you reading?

Sameer: Chemistry.

Sanjana: Is it science chemistry or love chemistry. 

She throws the magazine from the balcony. 

Prem & Sid see the book. Both go to their respective houses & join Simar & Roli for breakfast.

Sanjana: Hello, mom & dad.

Premar: Hello

Simar: Have your breakfast.

Sanjana: The same old milk & dhokla! If I eat dhokla every day, I will become a dhokla.

Prem: No, you will be slim, like your mom.

Simar: Have some milk.

Sanjana: Please prepare something different.

Simar: If you want to eat, you eat. Else leave it.

She then meets Rosid. 

Sanjana: Hello aunty & uncle.

Rosid: Hello

She then meets Sameer.

Sid gives Sanjana her favorite breakfast.

Sanjana then sees Sameer having his favorite dish. She asks, "Are you not spoiling him by giving him what he wants?"

Sameer: I am not spoilt. You are spoilt. See the dress that you are wearing.

Sanjana: I had worn the same in that function for which you said I look sexy.

Sameer: Function is a different story & college is separate. If you wear this in college, the guys will tease you.

Prem: I agree with Sameer. Go & change your dress.

Sanjana reluctantly goes & changes her dress.

Sameer & Sanjana go down. Sameer starts his bike.
