Day 5 - For The Boardwalk
NEXT MORNING:
IN THE ORPHANAGE:
The sun rose. Sun rays were coming inside the room from the window and disturb taani. She gronned and open her eyes. She rub her eyes and sat on her bed. A new day of her life was here. She eagerly want to know the next reason. She stand up
from her bed and first she saw the teddy bear and she remember the scene between her and rey and her cheeks become crimson red. She
blushed hard...
taani's POV:
I saw the teddy. And that remind me the morning scene of yesterday. Dont know why i feel so secure in his embaras. I feel complete with him. I was totally lost in his thoughts but i came in my sense when disha call me.
"taani..."i heard her scream..."r u
awake or not??we have to go to
school...dont be lazy" she said and
enter in my room.
"yes honey i m awake...just going
for bath."i said and went for a
shower.

Rey was getting ready for his
school .

I was humming my fav song "mitwa" when bandar i mean swayam call me down for breakfast.
"bhai...breakfast is ready. Come

After breakfast we left for the
orphanage. As usual all were left for school. Only taani and disha were there. Caretakers awee not here. They were doing their work and granny was gone to mandir. Disha and taani sitting on the dinning table and sipping their sup.

taani was lost somewhere..."hi

back in her sense...

We were waiting from 10 minutes but taani didnt came.

In the room taani was trying to tie the dori of her dress. But her hand was not reachable. She was trying hard to tie the dori. Rey came near her room . The door was slightly open. He saw her struggling with the dori. Rey open the door slightly. He
saw her. He was facing her back.
taani's POV:
"ufffoo...why cant i tie this...arrghh..."i said a little loud. Just then i felt fingers moving on
my back. I turn to see and found
rey standing there. I look in to his eyes and can say that he was
staring at me. Slowly he look at my back...first he move my hairs to the one side on my shoulder. Then he start to tie the dori. His fingers again touch my back. He come little more closer. His hot breath was tickling my back. I closed my eyes and i turned crimson red.
After tieing it he look at me...and i look at him.
at the same time with swisha:
"hey sw...why r u standing...sit
na??"said disha and sw nod in yes.
He sat beside her. She was sipping her tomato sup. But then she realise that she should share it with him.
"oh...sorry i forgot to ask...do u
want sup??"ask disha...
"oh no...thanks disha but i already
had my break fast"said sw.
"oh so what...just have it..."said
disha and pour half of her soup in
other bowl and gave it to sw.
"thanks..."said sw
"keep your thanks with u...dont u
remember no sorry and no thank u in friendship..."said disha...

back to taarey:
He was coming closer to me...now i can feel his breath on my shoulder. His hands were still on my back.
But suddenly we heard disha and sw calling us...
"taani/bhai..."i heard both of them shouting.
We came back in our sense. The
moment was awkward for me and
rey both of us. I look at the clock...
"oh shit...we r late rey...lets go
fast"i said and we both ran down.
As we reach in the hall we saw disha and sw fuming with anger...
"what were u both doing??we r late now..."said sw
"sorry sorry sw...now lets go fast.."i said and pull his cheeks and we all left for school.
When we reach school classes were started. We ran in fast. But our school vice principal caught us.

books properly...its ur punishment
now..."said the vp ..."and you two...

left for library and sw and disha
for their classes.

taarey were walking towards the

"sorry rey...because of me we r late and this punishment..."taani said but rey cut her in between...

They reach in the library and saw
the mess around. All books were
here and there...some books were in shelf...
"oh god...isnt it so hard to set all
the books??"said taani...

both start to set up the books.
rey's POV:
we work for an hour...now we both were tired but still half of the books were not in shelf.
"uuff...this is so boring"said taani.
"ya i know..."i said while taking a
book from the books and randomly turn pages and starting to read it...
"rey i have an idea...we will set the books very slowly so that we dont have to attend classes today. I really want to bunk classes...it will be fun..."

Taani was sittin in a chair when the door closed due to wind...she ran near the door and try to open but it got jam...

library...i saw the door closed.

"rey...thank god u came...this door is not opening..."said taani...

I try hard to open but cant so

And soon we start our work again...i was doing my work but also staring at her.
Suddenly sw and disha came there.

"so done with your

Sw was standing on the table and

It was break time so both were
here.
I was smilling looking at both the
kids. I look at taani who was
engrossed in her work. I smirked
and went near her. I stood behind her...she was confuse where to put the book. She was holding the book with her right arm. And her left arm was on the shelf. I went closer and
put my left hand on hers and she
look back to me. I hold her right
hand with the book..."put it here..."i said huskily in her ears and put the book. then slowly i went back from there. I know i have some effect on her. Now i just want to confirm it. I turned and saw her. She was deep red by now. And confused about the
moment which happened few seconds ago.
Soon the break was over and both cutie pies went back.

Taarey were done with their work now. Both were sitting and reading a book.
"oh wow...thats funny...this girl in
story is scared of rolarcaster...hahaha..."said rey while
laughing.
"so what...many girls hate
rolarcaster...like me...i m so scared of it...so i hate it..."said taani

The school was over but taani didnt talk wid him.

They reach at orphanage.

Swisha were looking at them from corner of their eyes.
"lets go in my room. They will

Taani was not listeniing to him so he become angry. He hold her wrist tightly and pull her. He take her in a corner and pin her to the wall in between his hands.
"taani...m sorry na...plz forgive me...i promise this will never happen again."said rey but taani push him and he just stood there helplessly.

Both were upset. Rey try to call her but she didnt receieve.
At donner both of them didnt take it.
Finally rey decide to call her again.
taani's POV:
I was sitting in my bed hugging the teddy. I thought to call him but then i realise i m upset wid him. I really want to talk with him. Rey didn't come by the afternoon, like I had expected him to. He usually came by an hour or two after school, but today he didn't. I felt very bed...i was on urge to cry when i heard my cell ringing. I quickly receive it.
"m sorry m sorry m sorry taani...plz forgive me..."said rey before i said hello.
"hmmm...its ok...but remember not again...ok???"i said...
"ok ok promise..."said rey...
"so...u didnt talk with me whole
afternoon..."i said but then bit my
tounge.

after an hour:
he came by during the night time,
around ten, to be exact. The
caretakers have already seen
enough of Rey to know who he was. When one of the younger caretaker called me downstairs, I found Rey sitting on one of the couches while a bunch of the smaller girls surrounded him.
"Are you Taani's prince charming?" a toothless seven year old asked Rey, as he chuckled.
"I sure am." I heard Rey say, which made my ears perk up.
The toothless girl gasped, before bursting into a misfit of giggles.
"But boys are flirty."
Rey chuckled, ruffling the little
girl's messy blonde head of hair.
"Not when you're a prince."
I had enough of what I heard, as I popped out from behind the wall. I approached Rey dragging him away from the little crowd of girls.
"what r u saying rey??" I muttered.
"Are you going to bring taani to
your magical kingdom now?"
another squeaky voice asked, making my cheeks warm up.
"How did you guys guess?" Rey
joked.
"Shouldn't you girls be in bed?"
granny appeared from the doorway, crossing her arms.
Immediately, all of the girls hurried out of the living room, turning off the television on the way. Granny gave me a wink before she stepped out to follow the girls upstairs. She probably wanted to make sure they
brushed their teeth and were
tucked in bed.
I pulled Rey out to the front lobby of the orphanage, crossing my arms as I stared at him
accusingly.
"The girls will bug me forever about you, now." I sighed.
"where is disha??"ask rey...
"she fall asleep today early..."i

Rey smiled lightly. "I want to take you somewhere."
I frowned, as my suspicions rose.
"You aren't actually taking me to a magical kingdom, are you?"
Rey laughed, shaking his head as he led me outside of the orphanage. He unlocked his car, and opened the passenger door for me.
"No." he paused, to get into the
driver's seat. "Just wait and see."
I crossed my arms, staring outside the window as Rey
began to drive. Moments later, I
noticed that we were in the parking lot of the boardwalk just a few minutes out of our town. The lights were all lit up today, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the Ferris wheel.
"You took me to the boardwalk?" I frowned. Rey smiled, nodding.
"I used to go all time as a kid. But I stopped a while ago."
"Why?" I asked, staring up at rey.
Rey wasn't staring at me, though.
Instead, his green eyes were dazed and distant, as he
stared at all of the flashing lights.
I couldn't help but noticed how
much brighter his green eyes looked under all of the lights. It was the type of emerald green that almost looked unreal.
"Rey?" I gave him a light push. "Are you okay?"
Rey snapped out of his thoughts, as his eyes dropped down to me. It looked as if he just remembered that I was right next to him. "I'm fine."
He licked his lips, putting a forced smile across his face. I frowned, as Rey pulled me towards the
rollercoaster that didn't look too friendly. "You scared of rollercoaster's, right???"
I bit my lower lip, staring at the
cart that went upside down in multiple loops. "I've never
been on one." I admitted.
Rey grinned, pulling me towards the line that wasn't too long. "Then this will be your first
time." The gate opened up, as
someone led us towards the cart,
buckling us in. "Rey, I don't think
this is a-"
Suddenly, I lurched forward, as the cart rolled on the tracks in full speed. My eyes widened, as my hair whipped behind my head from the intense speed.
"Reyyh!" I screamed. I could hear Rey calmly chuckling
beside me. I hide my face in his
chest...and he wrapped his hand
arond my shoulder. I feel safe in his embarasse. As we approached a crazy loop. My eyes squeezed shut, as I felt my legs go weak. I hug him more tightly. "I'm going to kill you!" I screeched and clutch his shirt tight. After what seemed like hours, which were actually minutes, the cart stopped. I felt someone shaking my shoulder, as I slowly opened my eyes and i came out from his embaras. Rey stared back at me, and I noticed that the silver bar that was set in front of us rose up.
"Taani?" Rey smiled weakly "You're okay, right?"
I stared back at Rey with a pale
face, as the conductor assisted us out. When we were back on the boardwalk, Rey led me to
the trashcan. I glared at him,
slapping his shoulder. "What the
hell?!" I hissed.
Rey raised an eyebrow. "You aren't going to puke on me, are
you?"
I grumbled, shaking my head. "That was horrible! I thought
I was going to fall up there!"
Rey grinned, letting out a low
chuckle. "Come on, I want to
see the pictures."
My eyes widened, as Rey dragged
me over to a little booth with little television screens.
On the fourth box was a picture of me squeezing my eyes shut, hugging him... looking completely miserable. Rey, however, was grinning at me, letting his hands flop all over the place. "I'll take two key chains." Rey told the manager of the booth, handing him a bill.
The guy handed Rey back two key
chains with our faces on them. He handed me the blue one, keeping the red one for himself. "This is for you." I couldn't help but smile at our completely different reactions. It was hilarious. "Thanks. Now I can
remind myself every time
I open the door that I completely freaked out on the first time I went on a rollercoaster." I sarcastically remarked, latching the keychain on to my small set of keys.
"I don't know." Rey smiled softly.
"I think you look pretty cute."
I stared up at his eyes, trying to
find any traces of dishonesty or
lies. But, there was none. All I saw was sincerity.
I couldn't help but turned bright
red, as I bit on my lower lip. "O-
oh." I sputtered out. How lame was I?
"Oh look! The ring toss! I love that game!" I rambled on, pulling Rey's arm towards the ring toss that had a bunch of stuffed animals hung up around it.

in library:
Taani was sittin in a chair when the door closed due to wind...she ran near the door and try to open but it got jam...
back to rey:
"but taani want to die...no rey...u
have to stop her...u have to..."i
thought and reach near the
library...i saw the door closed.
"taani..."i said...
"rey...thank god u came...this door is not opening..."said taani...
"aahhh...rey plz open the door...i m so scared...rey cockroach...plz open it fast..."taani screamed and i panicked...
"taani dont worry i will do
something..."i said...
I try hard to open but cant so
finally i said..."taani just move from there..."
"ok..."said taani and i broke it and
went in...taani was there standing
near the shelf...i ran to her and hug as tightly as i can...
"taani r u ok??" i asked her...
I hug her so tightly that she was
short of breath...
"rey i cant breath...leave me..."said taani and i leave her.
And soon we start our work again...i was doing my work but also staring at her.
Suddenly sw and disha came there.
"hi taani /taani di...hi rey/
bhai..."said both of them.
"hii..."we said...
"so done with your
punishment??"ask sw...
"no "we said...
"ok...lets help them...wat say
disha??!said sw
"ok..."said disha and both start to
help us...
Sw was standing on the table and
disha was giving him books one by
one...
It was break time so both were
here.
I was smilling looking at both the
kids. I look at taani who was
engrossed in her work. I smirked
and went near her. I stood behind her...she was confuse where to put the book. She was holding the book with her right arm. And her left arm was on the shelf. I went closer and
put my left hand on hers and she
look back to me. I hold her right
hand with the book..."put it here..."i said huskily in her ears and put the book. then slowly i went back from there. I know i have some effect on her. Now i just want to confirm it. I turned and saw her. She was deep red by now. And confused about the
moment which happened few seconds ago.
Soon the break was over and both cutie pies went back.
end of rey's POV:
Taarey were done with their work now. Both were sitting and reading a book.
"oh wow...thats funny...this girl in
story is scared of rolarcaster...hahaha..."said rey while
laughing.
"so what...many girls hate
rolarcaster...like me...i m so scared of it...so i hate it..."said taani
"what...u r scared of roller
caster???omg..."said rey while
laughing.
"u r laughing on me...huh...go to
hell...i will not talk wid u..."said
taani and went from there.
"oh no...my sunshine is angry wid
me...do something rey"thought rey and ran behind her.
The school was over but taani didnt talk wid him.
"hi taani..."said rey but taani ignor him.
"what happen to both??"said disha in swayam's ear.
"dont know...i think they fight"said sw...
"oh no..."said disha and they both
also sit silently.
They reach at orphanage.
"taani...listen to me taani..."rey
plead but she didnt listen.
Swisha were looking at them from corner of their eyes.
"lets go in my room. They will
handle it"said disha and both went in hand in hand and play with each other.
Taani was not listeniing to him so he become angry. He hold her wrist tightly and pull her. He take her in a corner and pin her to the wall in between his hands.
"taani...m sorry na...plz forgive me...i promise this will never happen again."said rey but taani push him and he just stood there helplessly.
at night:
Both were upset. Rey try to call her but she didnt receieve.
At donner both of them didnt take it.
Finally rey decide to call her again.
taani's POV:
I was sitting in my bed hugging the teddy. I thought to call him but then i realise i m upset wid him. I really want to talk with him. Rey didn't come by the afternoon, like I had expected him to. He usually came by an hour or two after school, but today he didn't. I felt very bed...i was on urge to cry when i heard my cell ringing. I quickly receive it.
"m sorry m sorry m sorry taani...plz forgive me..."said rey before i said hello.
"hmmm...its ok...but remember not again...ok???"i said...
"ok ok promise..."said rey...
"so...u didnt talk with me whole
afternoon..."i said but then bit my
tounge.
"hmmm...i know...hey can i come to
meet u??i have surprise for u."said rey...
"ok..."i said happily ...
after an hour:
he came by during the night time,
around ten, to be exact. The
caretakers have already seen
enough of Rey to know who he was. When one of the younger caretaker called me downstairs, I found Rey sitting on one of the couches while a bunch of the smaller girls surrounded him.
"Are you Taani's prince charming?" a toothless seven year old asked Rey, as he chuckled.
"I sure am." I heard Rey say, which made my ears perk up.
The toothless girl gasped, before bursting into a misfit of giggles.
"But boys are flirty."
Rey chuckled, ruffling the little
girl's messy blonde head of hair.
"Not when you're a prince."
I had enough of what I heard, as I popped out from behind the wall. I approached Rey dragging him away from the little crowd of girls.
"what r u saying rey??" I muttered.
"Are you going to bring taani to
your magical kingdom now?"
another squeaky voice asked, making my cheeks warm up.
"How did you guys guess?" Rey
joked.
"Shouldn't you girls be in bed?"
granny appeared from the doorway, crossing her arms.
Immediately, all of the girls hurried out of the living room, turning off the television on the way. Granny gave me a wink before she stepped out to follow the girls upstairs. She probably wanted to make sure they
brushed their teeth and were
tucked in bed.
I pulled Rey out to the front lobby of the orphanage, crossing my arms as I stared at him
accusingly.
"The girls will bug me forever about you, now." I sighed.
"where is disha??"ask rey...
"she fall asleep today early..."i
said...
Rey smiled lightly. "I want to take you somewhere."
I frowned, as my suspicions rose.
"You aren't actually taking me to a magical kingdom, are you?"
Rey laughed, shaking his head as he led me outside of the orphanage. He unlocked his car, and opened the passenger door for me.
"No." he paused, to get into the
driver's seat. "Just wait and see."
I crossed my arms, staring outside the window as Rey
began to drive. Moments later, I
noticed that we were in the parking lot of the boardwalk just a few minutes out of our town. The lights were all lit up today, and my eyes were immediately drawn to the Ferris wheel.
"You took me to the boardwalk?" I frowned. Rey smiled, nodding.
"I used to go all time as a kid. But I stopped a while ago."
"Why?" I asked, staring up at rey.
Rey wasn't staring at me, though.
Instead, his green eyes were dazed and distant, as he
stared at all of the flashing lights.
I couldn't help but noticed how
much brighter his green eyes looked under all of the lights. It was the type of emerald green that almost looked unreal.
"Rey?" I gave him a light push. "Are you okay?"
Rey snapped out of his thoughts, as his eyes dropped down to me. It looked as if he just remembered that I was right next to him. "I'm fine."
He licked his lips, putting a forced smile across his face. I frowned, as Rey pulled me towards the
rollercoaster that didn't look too friendly. "You scared of rollercoaster's, right???"
I bit my lower lip, staring at the
cart that went upside down in multiple loops. "I've never
been on one." I admitted.
Rey grinned, pulling me towards the line that wasn't too long. "Then this will be your first
time." The gate opened up, as
someone led us towards the cart,
buckling us in. "Rey, I don't think
this is a-"
Suddenly, I lurched forward, as the cart rolled on the tracks in full speed. My eyes widened, as my hair whipped behind my head from the intense speed.
"Reyyh!" I screamed. I could hear Rey calmly chuckling
beside me. I hide my face in his
chest...and he wrapped his hand
arond my shoulder. I feel safe in his embarasse. As we approached a crazy loop. My eyes squeezed shut, as I felt my legs go weak. I hug him more tightly. "I'm going to kill you!" I screeched and clutch his shirt tight. After what seemed like hours, which were actually minutes, the cart stopped. I felt someone shaking my shoulder, as I slowly opened my eyes and i came out from his embaras. Rey stared back at me, and I noticed that the silver bar that was set in front of us rose up.
"Taani?" Rey smiled weakly "You're okay, right?"
I stared back at Rey with a pale
face, as the conductor assisted us out. When we were back on the boardwalk, Rey led me to
the trashcan. I glared at him,
slapping his shoulder. "What the
hell?!" I hissed.
Rey raised an eyebrow. "You aren't going to puke on me, are
you?"
I grumbled, shaking my head. "That was horrible! I thought
I was going to fall up there!"
Rey grinned, letting out a low
chuckle. "Come on, I want to
see the pictures."
My eyes widened, as Rey dragged
me over to a little booth with little television screens.
On the fourth box was a picture of me squeezing my eyes shut, hugging him... looking completely miserable. Rey, however, was grinning at me, letting his hands flop all over the place. "I'll take two key chains." Rey told the manager of the booth, handing him a bill.
The guy handed Rey back two key
chains with our faces on them. He handed me the blue one, keeping the red one for himself. "This is for you." I couldn't help but smile at our completely different reactions. It was hilarious. "Thanks. Now I can
remind myself every time
I open the door that I completely freaked out on the first time I went on a rollercoaster." I sarcastically remarked, latching the keychain on to my small set of keys.
"I don't know." Rey smiled softly.
"I think you look pretty cute."
I stared up at his eyes, trying to
find any traces of dishonesty or
lies. But, there was none. All I saw was sincerity.
I couldn't help but turned bright
red, as I bit on my lower lip. "O-
oh." I sputtered out. How lame was I?
"Oh look! The ring toss! I love that game!" I rambled on, pulling Rey's arm towards the ring toss that had a bunch of stuffed animals hung up around it.

Around midnight at 12, I figured
that I had to get back to the
orphanage sooner or later. Granny was going to stay up
worrying about me if I didn't come home in an hour, tops. She just wasn't used to me staying out late.
"I should get going." I said, holding a large green frog in
one arm, which Rey had won for me at the ring toss.
Rey's smile faltered. "Oh." He
paused, eyes lingering up to the
Ferris wheel. "Do you have
time for one last ride?"
The Ferris wheel was the
first thing that my eyes landed on when Rey took me here earlier today. I knew I had to ride it, no matter what. "Yeah." I nodded, as Rey led me towards the Ferris wheel.
Since the Ferris wheel carts only had one seat, Rey and I
had to sit next to each other. Our arms brushed, as the Ferris wheel slowly went up. When we stopped at the top, I took time to stare down.
I could see everything from up here. I could see a little girl dropping her cotton candy and a bright neon green flip flop that was left on the boardwalk.
"It's beautiful." I muttered.
Suddenly, the night sky exploded
into a bunch of bright colors, creating a booming noise every time the fireworks exploded
into the sky.
"I loved it. It was so
beautiful."i said...
"Reason number five, Taani" rey's hot breath tickled my throat. "The boardwalk...we will have fun like this in future also...isnt it the thing for which u should live??we always will
do fun together..."said rey and left me in deep thoughts..."we always means??" i ask
"means always...u will understand
soon"said rey...
end of taani's POV:
They were going back to the
orphanage. Taani was sitting in the passanger seat beside rey...her eyes were heavy. She was feeling sleepy...her head lean on his shoulder. He stop the car and look at her...she was sleeping peacefully like an innocent child.
"u asked me taani that i m ok or
not...how can i'll be ok taani when u r thinking about scuside. U dont
know how much i love u...i will tell u soon taani. But please till then dont do anything wrong with yourself" said rey and he gently tucked her hairs behind her ears. His eyes were teary because of the fear of loosing
her.
It was difficult for rey to drive
but he manage to drive. When they reach at the orphanage granny was there outside .
He try to wake her up but granny
came there and stop him. And said to take her to her room. He took her in his arms and reach in her room. He put her gently on her bad. And then the frog beside her. He turn to go when he realise that she was holding his hand. He bent down and kiss her forehead gently.
"i love you taani...i really do..."said
rey and kiss on her cheeks. Then he slightly remove his hand from hers and left from there. He saw granny in the hall.
"thank you beta for coming in her
life. She seems so happy after u
came in her life..."said granny...
"no no granny...plz dont say thanks. Give me your blessings so that i can keep her happy for lifetime..."said rey to granny.
Granny put her hand on his head and said " god bless you both."
He left for his house and the day
end here.
