Chapter 1

"How could you do this Khushi?" Anjali accused her ruthlessly, "How dare you make such accusations against my own husband?"

Khushi was so surprised to see di behaving his way to her, never had she seen Di behave so hostile, she was always so sweet and cordial. Khushi was at a loss of words, and choked up feeling a pang of tears  about to flow.

"I-I..." she tried

"Just Shutup...SHUTUP. ..DO U HEAR ME? " anjali barked at her. Khushi was stunned, she looked at arnav and silently pleaded him with her eyes. She had told him everything yet he did not believe her. He still thought she had something to do with Shyam after her whole confession to him. After everything they had shared. But arnav looked at the ground unable to move. Khushi remembered that intimate night with this man. She looked back at di to see her furious expression.

"khushi he's  my husband, the one man that  I love and know truly, I know he would never do such vile things, and the fact the your even  accusing him of all this...its too much" anjali said now an almost pleading in her voice. In a matter of seconds anjali nearly collapsed but before she could Arnav had his strong arms around her helping her sit on the couch. Anjali began crying almost wildly as she wailed out desperate screams and cries. Everyone just stared at her. 

Arnav felt so helpless. His own Di whom he loved so much, whom he had sworn to protect and keep happy for the rest of his life was now sobbing uncontrollably and it was all because of Her. He looked toward Khushi direction to see her pale with worry, her petite body frame shaking, fresh tears forming their way down her cheeks. It hurt him to see her cry but knowing that she was the sole cause of Di's pain shook him to the core. This woman, who gave her the right to upset his di so much?He turned to Shyam and his knuckles whitened at the pull of his clenched fists. He hated this man..no DESPISED him. After that passionate night between him and khushi, how dare she still choose this despicable man? What did he have that Arnav Singh Raizada did not? He resisted the urge to hit him for the sake of Di. His gaze turned back towards khushi and he let go of di and like a predator, stalked toward Khushi sneering. Khushi immediately started to back up seeing him like this. She knew Shyam had won, he had succeeded in getting arnav against her. As she backed away she begged him but lost for words

"Arnav ji please..., you know me...you know I would never-" before she could continue Arnav grabbed her wrists harshly and glared at her through hard eyes and hardened jaw

"Shutup. I don't. Know. You. But I do know that you have brought unhappiness to this whole family...to my sister."

Khushi could feel hot tears tolling down her checks as she tried to speak

"No no please..arnav ji I didn't do this..Trust me please. I...I lo-" before she could finish, she felt the hard sting of a hand across her face. She as well as Arnav were astonished to look up and see anjali had slapped her.

"No. No. You will not say that to my brother. You will not use your fake words of love to cheat him. You are nothing but a pest. I...i thought you were better than this.. But u have caused so much heart ache for this family. No more. You. Will. Leave. This . House. Right. Now." she siad sternly. Khushi was shocked to hear this, it felt as if her whole world was falling apart. She looked around the family desperately hoping someone would help her. Anyone. She looked at Nk and payal who had looks of resignation on their faces, knowing the truth of the situation but being unable to help her. She looked at Nani who seemed so confused but had chosen to go with her grand daughters wishes. She looked at akash who stood behind his Di indicating that he agreed with her. She looked at mamiji who was now approaching her. She came to stand right in front of her.

"Hmmph finally, pati sari is told her rightful place. You never belonged to this family do u undershtaaand that pati sari? You are a low cla-ash woman with no self respect. You gold digger.  YOU ARE MARRIED FOR GODSAKES! WHAT MADE YOU DO SUCH A SHAMEFUL ACT? Was my Arnav bitua not good enough for your low class mentality? Get Out! Get out Now this instantwa! And never Returnswaa! "

Khushi looked around one more time and her eyes settled on arnav, pleading him silently. All she saw were hardened, Cold and angry eyes staring back at her. She ran up to him and held onto him tears streaming endlessly down her face from her swollen eyes

"please please Arnav ji...Please believe me. I need to tell you that I'm..Im pre-.!" she never finshed as he pulled her off himself harshly causing her to fall hard onto he floor, she looked at him with a hurt expression on her face. he knelt down beside her and spoke calmy but with such an anger and menace that it ran shivers down khushi back,

"you are good for nothing. You mean nothing to me now. Get out of my life once and for all Khushi. Kumari. Gupta." he scowled at her as he enunciated her name. She felt as if someone stabbed her endlessly with a knife straight to her heart. She stared at him one last time memorizing his face. She couldn't believe this was the same man who'd so passionately held her only a few weeks ago. And then his loud harsh voice brought her out of her trance

"I SAID GET OUTT!!!" he shouted and he roughly hauled her to her feet. Khushi looked around at everyone, giveing them each one last glance. She gave one last nod and walked dejectedly out of the house.

She walked for a long time, her feet just kept moving, she didn't even know where she was going, she couldn't go back to buajis house. Her family had barely talked to her since her forced marriage with Arnav. They were only just beginning to warm up to her and she knew that if they found out she had been kicked out of her house they would disown her. No family should have to live with the burden and the shame of a pregnant abandoned woman. So she just kept on walking because she had no we here to go. She clutched her belly tight, promising the little baby growing inside her that she would do everything in her power to give it a good life. So she stopped crying, straightened herself up and walked with a purpose.
