And about the confusion part, i'm gonna try to explain it more in detail here..

After listening to NK explain about what all happened khushi was confused and rightly so, because it was not about trust issues between arnav and khushi. She left because she knows nothing comes before his di to arnav, and for her he is going to go any lengths. In the process khushi is getting hurt because at a small corner of arnav's heart he still thinks that it all would not have happened if khushi simply didn't enter into their life and khushi knows that he blames her.
So, after the six months contract is finished khushi finally ups and leaves thinking it is best for everybody.
But for arnav khushi is his heart, the one person he opened his heart to, after his mother. Until khushi left, he didn't know the loss. And he knows then, he can't lose her and can't live without her. So, arnav does what he does best
First he searches for khushi because he had to know she is safe. when he comes to know that she took help from nk and that nk is looking after her he lets her be, because first he needs to solve the issues at home regarding shyam and tell everybody what all happened with proofs so that no one can blame khushi. He wants to bring her home with respect and not with someone suspecting her and passing scathing comments on her so he took his time and gathered his evidence with the help of aman.
Khushi is the only one who reads arnav like a book. So, when nk comes to her and tells her what happened.. at first she is confused at why arnav did all of this as she thinks he has di as his priority, then when khushi finally comprehends at what lengths arnav went to show the family shyam and his deeds and to prove her innocence, she finally understands what his next move is. Because it is quite simple that ..he is going to come looking for her and take her home.
That is the reason khushi finally panics, because she knows if arnav turns on his charm with her and shows her his love and care she simply can't resist him. Because even as a beast khushi loved arnav, so how can she turn him down when he is going to be her dreamy prince charming? Thinking all this khushi does what khushi does best.
she tries to have a plan and begins to write down her ideas first

Hope, i cleared the confusion, and regarding the length of the chapters i will try to make it a bit more long. But guys please be patient with me, and because i'm writing both sides of the story i'm ending khushi's chapter with where i think arnav's entry should start. So, that's the simple reason the chapters are small
