Hello people! Read on the next part of PrAja series...

Part 8 - Ranimaa!?

"Ajabde?" Jaiwantabaiji gushed the moment trio entered home.

The white coloured bunglow looked nothing less than a palace. Okay, It wasn't that grand, but it's structure, it's shine stood out in the place.

'Royals!'

Ajabde murmured under her breath.

The giant gate leading to a small pathway, small gardens on each side led to the center place with a beautiful fountain in the middle. Two typical armed man statues were standing on the either side of entrance and paintings hung on the walls.

Ajabde was looking around in awe, as it was way bigger than their biggest bunglow in Bijoliya.

She got surprised at the sudden voice but smiled the next moment, looking at the woman standing in front.

Wrapped in a red and yellow saree, she looked elegant, as her eyes smiled a beautiful smile. Her open long hair added to her beauty as her simplicity, added more to her royalty. Her overwhelming voice connected instantly as Ajabde felt motherly warmth in their first meet itself.

"Namaste" she bent down and touched her feet in a flow.

Ranaji just smiled as Pratap stared at the duo.

'Why would an employee touch his mother's feet'

His thought broke by the next scene as Jaiwantabaiji stopped her, hugging her warmly.

"Kal kyun nahi aayi?" She enquired, confusing him and Ajabde,

"Yeh to aaj Hansa ne bataya, tum pahonch gayi ho. Hum to aaj ka intezaar kar rahe the" she added, narrowing her eyes, a little hurt.

"Woh Ma'am main..." Ajabde fumbled with words as a sharp stare of the Lady boss of the house intimidated her for a beat.

"Ma'am?" She gasped, as her question amused Ranaji.

"Tum bhul gayi?" She eyed Ajabde's clueless expression and continued "Why my childhood bestie's daughter, who's like my own daughter would call me Ma'am??"

It was then Pratap gathered they were talking about his favorite maasi, the sweetest Hansa Masi of Bijoliya. They used to stay together at his Nanosa's place, in vacations in his early childhood, before they shifted to Delhi.

Ajabde looked down wondering what else she would call her then!? May be she was too young back then to remember much.

"Ranima!"

Jaiwantabaiji and Udaisinghji said at the same time and chuckled.

The name clicked to both the youngsters as they looked at each other immediately.

"Ranima!?"

Ajabde frowned listening to the word but had a wide grin, the moment she got the meaning of surprise her mother had mentioned. She turned to her and looked back at Pratap, who clearly remembered how his mother adored her more as a kid and asked her to call her Ranima even back then.

Pratap had mightily fought with her, telling he and only he would call his mother Ranima, and didn't talk with anyone the whole day.

Rao Mamrakh Punwar and Hansabaiji were out of the country for their business expansion programs, while Ajabde chose to stay in their own country on vacation.

Punwars of Bijoliya, were the close courtiers of Sisodiyas of Chittor. The chief samant of the royals, happened to be close friends of them too. As they had this family in Delhi, they asked her to stay there only. But Ajabde came a day before scheduled.

The deal was, she will stay quietly there and explore the things she wanted to. Visit places of entertainment and fun to relax, she thought to have experience of the corporate culture too...

(To be continued...)
