Part 6 - Meetings!

Udai Singhji smiled and coughed a little, reminding his presence there. As they chuckled, he spoke up

"Rawatji, sambhaliye apne laadle ko. Usse kaha kya hota hai, konse departments hai, sab ke workings kya hai, kiske kya roles hai, iski kya responsibilities hai... sab acchhe se bataiye... Train him hard. Jaise chahe isse taiyaar kariye..." He ended proudly "Ab se yeh aapka hua."

As they were about to leave, Udai Singh added smiling "Aur Rawat ji, Zara iss bacchi ko bhi office ghuma do..."

Udaisinghji signalled Ajabde to go with them and get the ideas around.

"Ji Ranaji" Sisodiyans belonged to the royal family of Chittor. Though generations passed and the youngest Sisodiyas lived in Delhi, they still carried the royalty with them. In the current period of Mom, Dad and Sir, people of their inner circle still used the old unique names their forefathers were used to. Hence Rawatji had a habit to call his friend and boss, Ranaji. Just the way Pratap called his mother Ranima!

He welcomed the girl with smile, as the trio left the cabin.

'Mere sath kyun?'

Pratap shook head in mind but who cared to ask his view.

The duo silently followed Rawatji, as he went on meeting people and explaining them about the areas, departments, their capacities, authorities, workings etc. They were on the tour of their own office building, consisting of five floors.

"Bas ab do departments bache" Rawatji said to no one in particular.

"Meet Chakrapani Mishra, our Production head" he grinned "R & D, production, purchase, job works aur baaki ke related departments inke hath ke niche aate hai" Rawatji completed, leading Chakrapani to formally greet the duo beside him. Pratap and Chakrapani aka Chakri knew each other since childhood and were best friends. They smiled politely at each other, shaking hands firmly; then chuckled at their gestures and side hugged, bumping fist casually. Smiling at the boys, Rawatji turned to the girl

"Aur yeh hai Ajabde, Ranaji ki assistant" Pratap rolled his eyes in mind at that, but he disliked the fact somewhere more, that Chakri shook her hand for longer than usual. 

'Itni der tak kaun hath pakadta hai...?'

But his thought broke as the two started chattering.

Forcing himself to walk with Rawatji, he trieeed to ignore what the duo talked excitedly, all the way to the last dispatch department. He did not understand, why Rawatji brought Chakri along to accompany them.

He did not know, why he would pay this much attention to something, not related to him at all.

It wasn't new that Chakri had his charismatic, happy-go-lucky impact, that would work on anyone. But the way his friend was sharing his talkative personality right now, wanted him to shut him up instantly.

But that girl.. oh what was the name? Ah Ajabde! She had very soft voice. Whenever she giggled, it sounded like many mini mini bells tinkled at once. And again her smile...

He was about to get lost in his mental trance, when suddenly Rawatji stopped. All the three looked at the person in front, as Rawatji spoke up

"Aur aakhir mein, hamari Dispatch head Saubhagyavati, aka Bhagya. Saare sales, distribution, business promotion, marketing..." Rawatji was going on but Chakri got stuck, looking at the young lady.

"All comes under her control" Pratap nudged Chakri, when Ajabde shook hand, smiling as both the girls connected in an instant.

"Do you remember her?" Chakri asked in a lost tone.

"Her?" Pratap raised eyebrow looking at Ajabde.
