Part 2

Shefali comes home.

Vincent is surprised. He said, "I was about to come to the spot & pick you up. I was expecting you earlier. But you came on by yourself.

Shefali: I had come by ship.

Vincent: You could have come by flight. If you fell short of money, you could have called me up. I would have booked the flight ticket for you. Anyway, freshen up. We will have our breakfast together.

Shefali goes to her room and wears the gown.

While Shefali is about to move, Shirley sees her.

Shirley: What type of dress have you worn?

Shefali: I am going to bathe in the river with my friends.

Shirley: Oh my God! Despite studying in the city, you have not left that habit. But remember one thing - it is a village, not a city.

Shefali: So what? See you later.

Both of them giggle.

Shefali sees her friends nearing the river.

She takes out the gown.

The girls stared at Shefali as she covered the swimsuit with a gown.

Shefali: Why are you staring at me in that way?

The girls said, "You keep your clothes near the girl sitting on the rock."

Shefali: Is she a caretaker of our clothes?

The girl replied, "Yes, she is the caretaker. If you keep it elsewhere, there will be a bunch of monkeys to pick it up."

Shefali: What do you mean by a bunch of monkeys? I don't see even a single monkey here.

Naina: Some pranksters would do such a thing. The only difference is they don't have a tail.

Shefali: I don't need a caretaker for my clothes. If the monkeys know how to pick the clothes, I will make them dance.

Meanwhile, Arjun, Sameer, Pandit, and others make noise and come there.

Shefali and her friends dive into the river.

Naina: See, the monkeys have come.

Shefali fumes with attitude.

Pandit sees that all the clothes are with the caretaker except one.

Pandit: Have you observed that only one item of clothing is aside while all others are here? From where did the fearless girl come to our village?

Arjun: When I pick up, we will know the badass lady.

Just as Arjun was about to pick up her clothes, Shefali said, "Hey, Mr., don't you dare touch my clothes."

Arjun: What will you do?

Shefali: I will break all your teeth.

Arjun: Till now, it has been men who have been ruling that village.

Shefali: Oh really? I see that you are the king of all monkeys.

All boys & girls laugh.

Shefali: If I come out of the river, you are finished.

Arjun: That's what we want to see.

Shefali comes out of the river.

Kartik and Pandit said, "On the previous day, we said that her dress size had decreased as she went to the higher class. Now it seems that she has directly jumped to the degree college."

Sameer: It would be more interesting to see how she will be when she does her post-graduation.

Kartik: That is easy to guess. It is common sense.

Arjun picks Shefali's dress.

Shefali: Keep it back.

Arjun: What will you do?

Shefali raised her hand to slap Arjun, but he stopped her hand & said, "In this village, a woman's hand does not speak in any language."

He dropped her dress & said, "I forgive you."

All the boys leave the place.

The next moment, the boys see Shefali go near the waves & go back as they come.

They hear the music & come near the tape recorder.

Pandit: Can we record our voice?

Arjun: Why not? But if I do something, the owner will make a fuss.

Sameer: Why will she make a fuss? You are a prodigious singer so the owner will be delighted to hear your voice. Would you please record your song?

Arjun sees Shefali writing on the sand.

Arjun records his voice saying, "Your blood is full of glow. What is the need for nail polish?"

Shefali turns towards Arjun.

Arjun: Why are you looking at me like that? I have gone crazy seeing you.

You have got the cure for my broken heart.

You have got kissable lips. Come close to me & quench my thirst.

Shefali came running & screamed at them.

Shefali: What are you guys doing here?

Kartik: We are recording our song.

Shefali: You guys have no manners.

Pandit: Manners? Say the same thing in Hindi so that we will understand.

Shefali: You guys have no tameez.

Pandit: Who said we don't have kameez?

Arjun: It is not kameez. It is tameez.

Arjun to Shefali: Please write what manners are. We will be pleased.

All the boys sing the song.

Shefali: Shut up, guys. If you utter one more word, I will slap you.

Arjun: I have already told you that a woman's hand does not speak in any language in our place. Take away your box.

Shefali takes her tape recorder & goes to her room.

All the boys said, "Hmm."

Shefali plays the tape recorder & hears Arjun's poetry about her, but she puts off the tape recorder & goes to sleep.

The next day, Shefali, Naina, Preeti, & Sunaina play antakshari.

Arjun, Sameer, Pandit, & Kartik play Kabaddi.

It is now Shefali's turn to sing.

Shefali manages to sing, but without any melody & draws the attention of Arjun & his friends.

They stop the game and go to her.

Kartik: What a voice!

Arjun: Yes, she has studied in the city but is a villager in music.

Shefali: You guys are loafers without any work.

Arjun: Your voice is so sweet that even the waves have started making the sound. I will show you what music is.

Shefali leaves.

Arjun, Sameer, Pandit, & Kartik start singing & dancing.

Naina dances with Sameer.

Preeti & Sunaina become the dance partners of Pandit & Kartik.

While all the couples dance, Arjun goes behind Shefali. Later, all the guys follow Arjun. All girls follow Shefali.

Shefali reaches home & goes to her room.

She remembers Arjun's words & decides to learn music.

Meanwhile, Naina, Preeti, & Sunaina are upset with Sameer, Pandit, & Kartik. The next day, Shefali went to Shirley & Vincent and said, "I want to learn music."

Shirley: we know only one person who can teach music & she is a Brahmin lady.

Shefali: So what? Something is more remarkable than nothing.

Vincent: Let Shirley learn music. I don't care about the source.

Vincent & Shefali meet Tulsi.

Vincent: She is my sister, Shefali. She wants to learn music.

Tulsi: It is my pleasure to accept Shefali as my student. She can come from tomorrow.

Shirley tries to dissuade Vincent from admitting Shefali to Tulsi's music academy.

But Vincent is firm in his decision.
