Still in the past at the Handa House….

Geet kahan hogi?

Maan looks for Geet everywhere but couldn’t find her …

Maan: Geeeet Geeet, kahan ho tum?

Maan then noticed the Handas' room open….

Toh madam yahan hai….

Maan went inside only to find Geet sitting there and crying…

Maan didn’t want to disturb her, but then he couldn’t see her like that and leave her alone…

He stayed there with her… Geet didn’t notice him…

She was lost in the thoughts of her parents…

She was thinking about the house warming ceremony…

She remembered how Ranno wanted a silk saree for the function and Maninder got a beautiful lal saree for Ranno and a silk skirt and blouse for Geet.. her favorite lemon yellow skirt with a olive green border…

Geet suddenly got up and went to look into the cupboard…

Maan was puzzled, what’s she looking for?

She rook out the yellow skirt and kept staring at that…

Maan too remembered that dress….

It was the house warming day…

Geet looked angelic in that dress…. She was more beautiful as she was so happy with her whole family celebrating Maninder’s success in a way…

Maan was only looking at her the whole day…

After lunch when the guests left one by one, only the women and children were there….

Kiran and Sheetal were in the kitchen helping Ranno…

Annie and Geet were in the bedroom…

Maan went to have a peek at what was going on in the girls world, he specially wanted to meet Geet…

They had been inside the room for more than an hour.

Maan was getting bored…

The girls had switched on the iPod and were dancing in the room…

They didn’t even notice that someone had entered…

Maan was mesmerized by looking at Geet dancing merrily to the tunes of “shiela ki jawaani”…

Maan didn’t expect such a surprise treat…

He stayed there silently watching Geet, as the next song played “munni badnaam hui”

Maan didn’t know that girls liked such songs!!!

They were enjoying the beat and the music…

Maan was only happy that he was lucky enough to witness the other side of Geet that day…

Annie just noticed Maan…

Maan: Annie chup

Maan tried to keep her quiet… But failed…

Annie giggled… ye kya kiya hai tunne Annie? Aaisa mokha bar bar nahi milta Maan ko….

Geet turned and looked at Maan…. She was not at all happy seeing him…

Maan had to leave then… this Annie spoiled everything that day….

Maan heard the sobbing sound suddenly..

Maan came out of his thoughts…

He moved closer to find out what Geet was doing…

Maan then looks at Geet… holding to her mother’s saree and her skirt…

She was crying continuously…

Maan had to do something to stop her…

Maan takes out his mobile and plays the song, Shiela ki jawaani, and raises the volume…

Geet hears the sound and turns back…

She was shocked to see Maan there, when did he come?

Did he see her crying?

Geet wipes off her tears quickly turning away from him…

Maan: kuch yaad aaya Geet?

Geet ko bahut kuch yaad aaya hai, aaisa nahi ki Geet ko sirf aur sirf apne maabaap ki yadein yaad hai….

Ache baaton se zyada bhuri batein ko hum zaroor yaad rakhte hai, jaise ki uss din Maan besharam ki tarah Geet ko dekh raha tha jab woh privately naach rahi thi….

Geet: nahi

Maan: joot

Geet: ye kya mazak hai?

How dare he? This is what Geet hates about him, he always intrudes into her privacy and doesn’t even let her grieve her loss…

But how long would she keep grieving?

Maan was not going to watch her cry like that forever.. haina?

Kyunki, MSK hates Geet’s tears…

Maan: tum bhool sakti ho Geet, par mein iss gaane ko aur woh nachnewali Geet ko kabhi bhool nahi sakta, kitne kush thi tum? Mujhe woh Geet wapas chahiye

Geet: toh mujhe woh sab wapas dilao jo meine khoya hai

Maan had no answers for that, but he promised to himself to take care that there is only happiness in the rest of her life…

Geet leaves from there for she didn’t like intruders in her life… specially this one…

Maan had to be content that she came out of the room at last….

Later that day….

Maan asked Annie to take Geet out and keep her engaged as much as possible, at least for the first few days until she settled there overcoming her past memories… for that she had to make some new memories… happy memories, for which Maan was waiting desperately to be part of …

Annie was happy for she wanted to shop a lot for the next year at college…

She can’t repeat last year’s dresses na?

And also Geet needed a complete make over… she had to look like a college student….

Her salwars from Amritsar wouldn’t work… moreover Geet had no interest in dressing…

Her father got her all her dresses from the different places that he went for business….

Maninder always got her the latest trending outfits… but after going to Amritsar Geet switched to salwars… not that it didn’t look good on her, but she had to be up to date for then she had come back to Delhi…

You know the saying, be a Roman when you are in Rome…

Annie had to do the shopping for Geet too ….

Maan liked Geet’s new looks, she never seizes to amaze him with her looks even now…

Maan too was busy preparing for his US journey… he got admission in his favourite University, in the course he wanted, structural engineering…

Maan was ready to wait for his turn..

He got that opportunity pretty soon…
