So here it is chapter 5 ...
Confusion ,Panic and Calm
Where is she ? Where is that girl ? Arnav stood in the waiting room ,scanning around the area , to see if he could see Khushi. But there was no sign of her.
People pushed past him in a hurry. The porters carrying around the patients. Doctors and nurses calling out patients. But there was no sign of Khushi. Arnav closed his eyes, in fact he hated hospitals. Why did I agree to take Khushi. I can't even take nani to the hospital for her check ups. But why did I agree to Khushi.

He opened his eyes , I have to find her to see , if she is ok.
Arnav stood there , he ruffled his hair ,honestly this girl then walked up to the receptionist. Excuse me , have you seen a girl . The portly lady ,looked up

Son there a lots of girls here , she laughed .
No..no.. , hmm I mean her hair is plaited to one side , with pompoms. Arnav then pointed to his forehead she was bleeding heavily.
Yes I did , I told her to take a seat , she must have been seen to then ,you will have to just wait then.
But .. but I can't . I have to know if she is ok. She just stormed inside . I have to know. Arnav felt his voice getting louder. Why am I so frustrated , he thought . Fine . I f you will not help me .I'll ask someone else .
Look , calm down . The lady called , as Arnav went down the corridor to see if Khushi was near by. He saw a doctor standing in the corner checking his notes.
Doctor , could you tell me have you seen a girl , plaited, with pompoms . Red and gold salwar kameez .
Calm down , yes ,I have .The doctor said
Is she ok, Is she fine ?There I go again panicking over Khushi .
Yes , If you would like to see her she is at the end of this corridor ,but before the doctor could finish his sentence. Arnav ran down the corridor .
What now I am running ?,he skidded to halt. Her heard a familiar voice , no nurse ,I am ok . Look keep still another voice spoke.
Arnav turned he coughed . The nurse stood up . Do you know her ? Will you tell her to keep still . Khushi looked up and saw Arnav was standing in the little room , where she was being treated.
Khushi kept fidgeting , nurse I am ok. Just let me go .
No , you do realise how serious this cut is. It is really deep, tell me how on earth have you managed this injury to your head ?
Khushi who was staring at Arnav , turned her head slightly to the nurse , but kept looking back at Arnav.
What do I say ,If I say it was dumb and dumber , would Sir believe me. No Khushi , he would not.
Khushi turned and look down she twiddled her fingers . Arnav noticed that Khushi's nostrils were flaring . When I lie my nostrils flare,because Di had told me this.
Aunty .I tripped Khushi lied
Ok then , be careful dear , I'll just get the doctor to apply some stitches to you , then you will be able to go .
The nurse left the room . Khushi still carried on staring at the floor. Arnav walked up to Khushi.
Tell me , Khushi did you really trip ?
Khushi mumbled .Sir I ..Yes I tripped . Why does he care anyway?
Then why are your nostrils flaring ?
Khushi quickly stood up . She was now standing so close to Arnav , that there was only a small gap between them . Arnav became lost in his own thoughts .
What is going on , why do I find her stunning ?
Realising that Arnav was once again in his world of his own . Khushi clicked her fingers in front of Arnav and then turned slightly . Why do you care ?You are the reason for me being in this state .
Arnav place each hand , on Khushi's shoulder .He held Khushi's shoulder tightly. Look at me . I did not do this to you , you know that I didn't .
Khushi pushed Arnav away from her . Slightly Arnav took a step back. Arnav could feel his temper rising . Look Khushi, I didn' t do anything .
Yes you did , you destroyed my life , you made me leave home ,my family. My city ,everything I knew . Khushi poked Arnav in the chest. Frankly Sir I can't stand you . I despise you so much .
Arnav eyes widened with shock . Why is she saying this to me ? Do I deserve this ? Am I such a bad person?
Look at me Khushi , did you really trip?Great Khushi blurts out this and I am all concerned about how she tripped. I should have said something else to comfort her .
Khushi looked up . I.. Khushi eyes narrowed . But before she could finish the doctor had come in . It was the doctor that , Arnav had stopped earlier.
Found Miss Gupta , ok then . He chuckled . You were in such a panic . Arnav looked at Khushi and saw her looking confused
Sir panicking , I think the doctor needs to take some rest , must have been imagining it
No Doctor , you must be mistaken . Arnav said . Khushi notcied that Arnav's nostrils were flaring .
Ok Sure the doctor chuckled.
So Miss Gupta, I think some stiches are needed. Sit down , then . The khushi looked at Arnav with annoyance and then sat down .
Khushi shuffled back every time , the doctor would try and apply some stitches.
Look Miss Gupta will you keep still , how am I able to treat you ,if you can't keep still ? Doctor said.
Without realising , Arnav sat down next to Khushi and took hold of her hand. He held on to Khushi's hand tightly.
Khushi turned around ,however she had become lost in her own thoughts. She looked down , then looked back up . Too lost for words , she did not know what to say .
Oww , why is he holding my hand in the first place and why so tight.
Khushi , had now stopped squirming,because she was so distracted by Arnav, the doctor was able to apply the stitches .
Arnav stared at Khushi ,he who had become lost in his own thoughts again . Oh ,there I go again , why do I keep going off track , why am I so mesmerzied by Khushi ? Arnav realised that he was once again staring at Khushi. He blinked .
Finally she has shut up and now the doctor can do his job.
Minute or two later , the doctor said All done Miss Gupta .
Khushi quickly let go of Arnav's hand and then said . Oh, thank you . Khushi felt dazed . She couldn't believe it Arnav held her hand to calm her down .
No problem dear , just be careful . The doctor said, and then left the room . Khushi stood up and looked in the mirror .Gross , these stiches look horrible.
Khushi I am going . Arnav said and then left the room . Khushi quickly left the room and followed Arnav out of the hospital and into the car. She saw the piece of her dupptta attached to the side mirror. Gosh I completely forgot about that . Why is it still there?
Whilst in the car Khushi thought to herself I should say thank you for calming me down . She paused for a moment or two .
Arnav quickly looked at Khushi What is she thinking about?
Khushi spoke , Sir ...
Hmm Arnav murmured . He pretended to so conctrated on the roads, in fact he was secretly listening to what Khushi had to say .
Sir , thank you for calming me down . I really am grateful.
Arnav wanted to secretly 'say no matter ', 'glad I could help ', but he could not say that . This is Khushi after all .
Arnav shrugged his shoulders .
Khushi smiled to herself , Arnav looked out of his corner of his eyes She's not smiling is she?
Sir ,can you drop me off home ? I... , but Arnav interrupted Khushi
No I can not , still have to set up for the meeting , unless you want to quit , then you will be able to go home early. He smirked .
Khushi, sulked and folded her arms and turned to face the window . This rakhass , gosh this happens to me and he will not let me go home, more bothered some precious meeting.
Oh I love seeing her in such a foul mood , brightens up my mood .Arnav grinned to himself.
For the rest of the journey back to the office , Arnav and Khushi sat in silence.
Meanwhile Shyam stood outside a dingy dark alleyway . He was talking to someone on the mobile . Yes , I am doing everything , you have told me. Don't worry everything will go according to plan . Look I have to go bye .
Shyam put the phone down and grinned nastily .
