He looked up to see everyone looking at him awaiting an answer. He said, the surgery was a success.  There were some minor complications but everything went fine. The only thing we are waiting for now is for Kripa to wake up. Once she does then we will have a better idea of the effect of the surgery. Karan walked away, there was a sign relief but Angad still felt uneasy. He went after Karan and pulled him aside. He asked him, please tell me the whole truth. Is everything okay? Karan looked at the floor and then looked up at him and said, no. Kripa lost a lot of blood during the surgery. It may be that everything will be okay when she wakes up but it's a slight chance. Lets see! Don't worry!

Karan walks and Angad says how can I not worry. Then Dadi puts a hand on his shoulder and says, come with me. They both go into see Kripa. The whole gang was waiting outside. They thought it was better for Angad to go see Kripa, as they all knew their attraction for one another.
Angad saw Kripa and tears were rolling down his cheek. He walked up to her and sat right next too her. He was just gazed at her with compassion hoping that any moment she would open her eyes and call out his name. He didn't realize when he fell asleep. After a while, he heard someone moaning, pani. He looked up it was Kripa. She was talking in her sleep. He got some ice chips and sprinkled them on her lips. She didn't wake up!

Angad decided to go outside to check on everyone else. Everyone was sitting in the hall. Dadi was sitting reading a book. Mishty was sleeping on Prithvi. Manan was sleeping on Harshini. They all were sleeping. Dadi looked at him and said, how is she. Angad went and put his head in her lap. He said she hasn't woken up yet. He goes on to say that, Dadi how can God take the one person that I truly love away from. He can't! Its just not fair! Dadi totally understood his frustration and just ran her hands through his head. She said don't worry, God is watching everything, he will answer your prayers. Angad looked up and with tears in his eyes said, promise! Dadi couldn't handle it no longer and pulled him close to her. She wanted to shield him from all this pain and agony. He pyaara baacha had finally found the meaning of love!
