Then in a rush Kripa leaves. It is about 1 o'clock at night and she knows that she is really late for Angad's party. She is really worried that he won't understand. As the rikshaw comes closer to the house, Kripa sees the party is over and that the lights are all off. She walks up the pathway and sees Angad sitting near the pool. With a very guilty feeling she walks up to Angad. Before she could say anything. Angad looked up at her. His eyes said it. Kripa sat right next to him but before she could say anything, Angad said you know this afternoon when I invited all of my friends, I was really only inviting you. I don't know why Kripa but I really wanted you here with me celebrating my birthday. But I guess I asked for too much because I should have known that you have better things to do then to be with me. This gave Kripa the crappiest of the crappiest feelings. She felt to guilt it was ridiculous. Its not like intentionally she planned on not being at the party, it was just circumstances. They both sat there in silence for a couple of minutes when Angad got up. He was walking away when Kripa quickly grabbed his wrist.

She said, Angad before you leave wouldn't you like to hear why I wasn't able to come. He looked at her and said, no I really don't care. You just might have a legate reason for not being able to come but I just don't care. I never gave this much attention or felt this way about anyone and I know from now on that I should never. I expected too much from you Kripa and look, I was the one who got hurt. I don't know why but I really wanted you to be there with me. I felt that if there was one person who understood me it was you. But I guess I was wrong, because you don't have time for me. Angad stormed off leaving Kripa sitting next to the pool crying. As he was walking away, Kripa looked at him and said Angad I know you felt. I feel the same way. I will always be there for you and stand by you. 

(They both have hidden feelings for each other. They just want each other's friendship. Love is under toned in there relationship right now.)

Angad goes into his room and just sits on his bed. He doesn't know why he reacted the way he did. He doesn't know why he made Kripa feel guilty. The truth of the matter was that he really did care about her and was worried. That's why he was more upset, because he didn't know where she was or how she was. His concern just came out in anger and he said things he didn't mean. He thought to go to the outhouse and talk to Kripa, but he was still kind of angry and decided to go see her in the morning. He went to bed but couldn't sleep.

In the morning, as Angad is about to go to the outhouse he sees Kripa leaving. He decides that he better go follow her. He gets into his cute sporty car and follows the rikshaw. He sees that they stop at the hospital. So he parks and goes inside. He follows her right into Rahul's room. There she is all smiles with him. Kripa and Rahul are laughing and talking. Kripa asks him how he is feeling and Rahul responds that he is doing much better and that later that afternoon he would be discharged. Kripa was quite excited to hear this. She then asked where his parents were. Rahul said that they both went home to get him some clothes and freshen up. After some time Kripa said that she must go as she was getting late for rehearsals. They both hugged and Kripa was on her way out. Angad was watching all of this. He understood that something must have happened but he was still a bit confused.

Angad hid as Kripa came out of the room. He thought it would be better that she didn't know that he was there. As Kripa was walking out she bumped into a doctor. She looked up and said I am sorry. But to her surprise the doctor was none other than Karan. He looked shocked and a bit concerned to see her there and asked her what are you doing here. Kripa was just about to answer, when the doctor that treated Rahul approached. He said in a very gallant and cheerful voice, hi Kripa. He patted her on the back and then said do you two know each other. Karan and Kripa both nodded. Then the doctor said that Kripa was very brave for what she did last night. At this point Kripa wanted the doctor to shut up. She really didn't want Karan to find out that she donated blood. Well, the doctor kept on praising Kripa and eventually told Karan all about last night. Karan obviously had a very disapproving look on his face.

Angad who was also hearing all this felt like a JERK. He thought to himself that was the reason that Kripa wasn't able to come last night. As it is she wasn't feeling good and then I said what I did. He thought to himself, I must speak to Kripa. He decided to go outside and wait for Kripa.

Well eventually the doctor left Kripa and Karan. Kripa felt quite guilty and was about to say something to Karan when he said, no you listen Kripa. I thought you came to Bombay to get better, but I won't be able to help you if you keep all this crap up. How do think that by giving blood that your body can't produce you are helping your heart. He was literally yelling at Kripa. He was so concerned, not just as a doctor but also as a friend. He was so upset that he didn't know what more to say and just stormed away. Kripa grabbed him and said, Karan I had no other choice. I don't know why I did this but it was just something that my heart said I had to do. Please don't be mad at me. I promise I won't do anything like this again. I will follow all your instructions and try to be a good patient. Karan said, Kripa I really care about you and I want you to get through all of this successfully. They both smiled and then parted. Karan went back to work and Kripa went outside. As she walked down the steps, she looked up and saw Angad leaning against his hot red sports car. She was scared, and ecstatic to see him all at the same time.
