Chapter 3

Shalini was pretending to be angry with Ram when an idea struck in his mind as he started playing his trick, "She was wrong then.."

"Who is she?," She asked being oblivious with for whom Ram was referring as, 'she'.

He replied, "arey! I forgot to tell you that I have just arrived to persuade you all the way from my lavish party by taking lift on a scooter," and made a puppy face as he was in a huge crisis.

Shalini hit back his shoulder, "tu to aise keh raha hai jaise tujhe koi BMW ya Tesla se lift chahiye thi," and rolled her eyes.

"Why not after all I am 'The Ram Kapoor'," lifting his collar replied Ram.

Shalini rolled her eyes and made a child-like face, "Ha-Ha! Very ill expectations you keep," and then pretending to be angry she came to the point, "By way, how was the girl?"

"Beautiful, lively, emotional but khadoos! My high school-mate Priya Sood," He exclaimed.

Shalini became excited even more, "Arey wah you know her too!"

"Hmm," he hummed.

"But why khadoos," she asked immediately when she realised what he added at the end.

"Ha..itna majak banaya mera or indiaEatz ka...she called it unhygienic!," Said he with a gloomy face at which she intervene, "chalo accha hai mere ilawa koi aur to hai Jo khul ke sach bolta hai tujhse," with a wide smile

Ram smiled too, embracing his mother he said, "Mission successful! You finally talked and not even talked, smiled too," he had glitter in his eyes while witnessing her joy, "happy new year's ma!"

"Tu khud ka bhi majak uda sakta hai mere lie?," She asked with moist eyes.

"Haha! Mazak nahi kar Raha tha. It really happened ma," he again gave her a tight hug.

"So tell me kaisi hai wo khadoos?," She asked

"Haha! No ma, she is so sweet, par aajkal itne sweet logo ki value nahi hai," replied he.

"Tujhe hai?," Shalini asked his son.

"Oh Jaan meri! Kal uski shadi hai, wo bhi mujhse nahi," he winked as he knew what was her mother expecting from their relationship.

She made a face, "arey ye bhi gayi!"

"Ladki hai ma sale ka offer nahi ki gaya," he mocked at which she slapped him lightly and he continued, "by the way we are invited in wedding and you're going with me...kahi nahi jati mere sath"

On the wedding venue, Priya was shocked when she said witnessing him in front of her, "Tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?"

"Tumse kuch kehna tha, it was really important," he replied nervously but she blushed back, "Come on we are going to meet in altar na, we can't meet here at this time"

He immediately punched the mirror of the dressing room, "Yuvraj!"
