Sai sometimes couldn't believe Satya. Not because he was annoying but because he was annoyingly kind. At times it scared her. She expected him to flip on his words, to remind him that they are married, that she is the daughter-in-law of his family. But he did no such thing. He didn't dismiss her, but he didn't blame her, and honestly, that scared her, that he had no expectations from her.

Sai didn't have expectations from him or from the marriage, but sometimes, her heart wondered if there was more to their relationship. Their friendship was one of the very few relationships in her life where she didn't feel tied down. He was one of the few people in her life who didn't make her feel suffocated.

And that scared her. What if someday, she starts expecting things from him? What if her heart was right and their relationship was more than just two friends? What was she to do when her heart would start making demands that she knew she couldn't fulfill? What was she to do when someday, she would fall in love with Satya?
