Chapter 1

Dev, born in the lap of Himalayas he has deep connect with nature. He feels at home and peace in the wild. Rescuing animals, tending to them and re-releasing them in the wild gives him content and adrenaline rush at the same time. He is a wildlife vetenary Doctor working at the Kaziranga National Park, Assam,  clad in cargos, equipped with his darts, guns, medical equipment he drives the 4x4 open Gypsy. From Rhinos to Elephants he befriends all. Not an extrovert, he keeps to himself and helps the forest dwellers and is friendly with people of all age groups. He is accompanied by a forest tracker sometimes who helps him track animals. 

Vidhi is 21, a rather timid girl. Beautiful and petite, she has never stayed away from her parents. She was never great at studies but her impetus to taking admissions at vetenary College was her love for her pet cat who was her best friend. She lost her in school, the cat was the confidant of the otherwise frail and timid Vidhi. She is most comfortable tending to the animals than chaotic human beings but her interest and comfort is only with pets. 

Dev is a visiting professor who takes students out on field trips to the forest. This time it's Vidhi's class. It's her first experience in the wild.
