Chapter 4

Yey now that ive finally introduced Raj the story gets more intresting so stay tuned

Bani cant sleep, its just not coming to her. Its like something's keeping those eylids of hers wide open and that something is Tara. Tara was her only sister whom Bani considered more of a best friend than a daughter like Rano or Pia. If this is the case then why I am i stressing about the fact that she's going a bit too fast to reach her dreams? thought Bani

Tara had come home earlier extremely excited and happy , she was always someone who tried to lessen Bani's worries rather than increase them like Pia often did. Then again their was a flipside to her aswell. She was imensely talented and the most gifted of  all the four sisters. Luckily she had not let the attention go to her head and had her feet firmly rooted to the ground but.......... there were some exceptions. Tara had told them that someone had heard her sing when she was practiscing in the college hall. He turned out to be an executive of one of the leading companies in India. He told her that he worked for the Walia Industries ahem ahem a huge lump had formed in Bani's throat when she heard this.

Tara just couldnt stop herself from going on and on about how he had praised her singing , called her a nightingale and had went on and on praising her. ''How could someone praise one person so much just after hearing her once?'' thought Bani with some guilt. The guy seemed fishy , maybe it was her sixth sense talking but this guy appeared to Bani as having more on his mind than just Tara's singing.

She said something about him giving her his card. Tara mentioned his name was Shahid , oh god thought Bani why is this day getting weirder and weirder by the minute. The wierdness had not stopped there infact it got worse. Bani after fighting with herself to go to the office again and this time definetly give the interview no matter what happend. With this thought planted firmly in her mind she pulled over the blanket and went to sleep.

In another sleeping corner of the city a car is parked abruptly outside a king-sized suburban flat. These kind of flats still had the ''For Sale'' side outside as the only people who could afford them lived outside Shimla. A man half drunk- half awake struggles to get inside and finally is supported by a pair of a strong manly hands inside the flat. He is thrust on a sofa and a glass of cold water is poured on his face-as expected he instantly gains his conscience. ''Aw Geez man Rajeev whats your problem''. Rajeev answers in a  frustrated voice'' Look Shahid i didnt bring you all the wy here just to play caretaker again you have to take care of yourself''. Shahid shrugs and says'' Look i didnt ask you to play caretaker did i and anyways i just drank to celebrate your birthday. I mean you  dont celebrate it so someone has to.

Now Rajeev is starting to get angry''Look first of all i dont need you to celebrate the day of my birth for me and second of all you know all about my past then why do you..............

Rajeev stops suddnly and all the blood drains from his his face and the horrors of his past surround him , but before remembers it all he sees Shahid collapse on the floor and takes him to his room.
