Chapter 17

Next day, Kanan founds no one on the airport to receive her except their driver. She was a little bit disappointed as Nishant had promised her that he will be there at the airport to recive her. She had gone only for three days, but the work takes more than a week and in this time, she had terribly missed Nishant n realised tht Nishant has become much more important for her than she thought . After talking with Nishant yesterday, she realised that Nishant too have developed more passion for her, then why he was not at the airport today. She shrugged off the thoughts thinking that she is behaving too possesive. She is well aware about his work. May be he is busy in a meeting. But atleast someone from house should ahve came here to receive her? Oh god, why she is thinking all this ? They all love her so much and if they didn't make it to the airport  , there must be some reason, but she was so happy to be back home. As she comes out of the car, she found the house totally lifeless. With diffrent thoghts coming in her mind, she enters into the house. As she entered, the ballons bursts automatically and the lights were turned on. Tanu, Bheem , Bali, Buaji and Nishant all comes out clapping and celebrating her arrival . Kanan looks at the house carefully. It was written on the walls.

" Welcome back Kanan ".

Buaji came in front of her.

Buaji: Welcome back beta.

Kanan(hugging Buaji): Thanks buaji. Thanks a lot. That was a pleasent surprise.

Tanu: Ye kya chachi, Taiyaarian humne ki aur thanks sirf buaji ko.

Kanan smiles and hugged all of them.

Tanu: Waise ye sab taiyaari humne nahi Nishant chachu ne ki hain.

Kanan looked at Nishant n he was looking at her.

Tanu: Waise ek aur good news hai. Aapki shaadi aaj se theek do din baad hai.

Kanan was surprised to know this. She didn't knew how to react. She was just looking at Nishant.

Tanu(teasing both of them): Humein pata hai aap dono ko bahut kuch kehna hoga. Lekin pehl party aur baad mein baaki sab.

Buaji(hitting her on her head): Chal pagli.(To Kanan) Iski baat a bura mat manna Kanan. Ye to sirf tujhe tang kar rahi hai. Party shaam ko hai Tum tak tu thoda aaram kar le. (To all of them) Chalo. Ab n dono ko thodi der ke liye akela chodd do.

Tanu: Kya baat hai chachu. All the best.

Nishant and Kanan smiles and kept on looking at each other whereas Buaji leaved with all the baccha party.

Kanan and Nishant kept on looking at each other. There was pindrop silence between them. They both were unable to find from where they should start.

Nishant: Kaise hain Kanan?

Kanan: Theek hoon. Aap?

Nishant: Main bhi theek hoon.

Kanan(taking out the file): Nishant. Un logon ko hamara proposal bahut pasand aaya. They are interested in our project. Here's the concept.

Saying this, she comes near him to ginve him the file. Nishant who was controlling his emotions till now, takes the file from her hand, throws it on the bed and hugs her tightly into his grip. Kanan, stunned bt all these sudden movements, too wrapped her arms around him.

Nishant: I missed u so much Kanan. Aapke jaane ke baad ek ek din ek saal jaisa lag raha tha.

Kanan : I missed u too Nishant. Aapse door jaane ke baad maine jaana ki aap mere liye kya hain.

Nishant: Mujhe phir kabhi is tarah choddkar mat jayiega. Main seh nahi paunga.

Kanan was feeling the reality in Nishant's words. His warmness, his grip all were witnessing his pain.

Kanan: I will never leave you Nishant. Never.

They both controlled themselves with great difficulty . They leaves each other and starts smiling.
