Chapter 4

Next day Kanan gets up from the bed and started getting fresh. After sometime, her phone ranged.
Kanan: Hello.
Nishant: Wishing u many many happy returns of the day Kanan. A very very happy birthday to u.
Kanan: Oh thanku Nishant thanku very much.
Nishant: Accha ab bataiye kya kar rahi thi aap?
Kanan: kuch nahin. Main bas academy ke liye nikal hi rahi thi.
Nishant: iska matlab aapne unko nahi bataya ki aaj aapka birthday hai.
Kanan: Nahi Nishant. Maine unhe kuch nahi bataya.
Nishant: Well koi baat nahi. Main MR. Johnson se baat kar loonga.
Kanan:Well iski koi jaroorat nahi hai Nishant. Shaam ko to main free ho hi jaungi. Hum birthday tab celebrate kar lenge.
Nishant: No way Kanan. Aaj aapki ek nahin chalegi. Maine aapki wajah se apni flight chhodi. Ab aapko wahi karna hoga jo main kahunga. Ok.
Kanan(smiling): Ok oK Nishant.Bataiye mujhe kya karna hoga.
Nishant: Well jyada kuch nahi. Aap bas 10 baje tak kal wale restaurant mein pahunch jaiye.
Kanan: Ok i will be on time.
Nisant: Than ok and see u there. Bye.
Kanan: Bye Nishant.
Saying this she disconnects the phone.
At sharp 10 AM , she reached at the restaurant Bum chik as told by Nishant.
She enters into the restaurant which was very dark.
Kanan: Yahan itna andhera kyun hai. Kahin maine galat to nahin sun liya. Nahi, mujhe acchi tarah yaad hai Nishant ne yahi restaurant kaha tha.
She was deeply occupied by her thoughts when a baloon bursts and the restaurant was filled with lights and a group of children sings in corus" Happy biorthday to you, happy birthday to u , Happy birtday to dear Kanan Mam, happy birthday to u".
Kanan was delgithed by the scene she watched after getting the lights on . The whole resataurant was filled with red ballons and her students and her colleauges including Mr Johnson were present there singing the happy birthday song for her.
All the students together: Happy birthday Kanan Mam.
Saying this, they presented her a bouquet of her favorite white flowers.
Kanan(totally delighted): Thanku thank u so much.
Mj: That's not fair Miss Kanan. You never told us that today is your birthday. If Mr. Nishant has not told us, we never got to know that.
Kanan: i am sorry sir. Actually i like to celebrate my birthday only with close friends. But this time Nishant insisited to celebrate my birthay like this and i agreed. By the way where is he.
Mj: He was here sometime ago. I don't know where he has gone.
MJ has just completed his sentence when Nishant appears in front of Kanan with a gift box in his hand.
Nishant: Happy birthday Kanan.
Kanan: Thanku so much Nishant.
Saying this Nishant gives her the gift which she accepts happily.
After that they cut the chocolate cake which Nishant has ordered for her. She cuts the cake and gives the first byte to Nishant who also feeds her in return.Than she distributes the cake to the rest of people.
After that the music gets on and everybody started to enjoy whereas Kanan and Nishant were standing and watching the celebrations.
Kanan: Than u so much Nishant more making my birthday a memorable one.
Nishant: Hey no sorry and no thanku between friends remember.
Kanan: oops i forgot.
Nishant: It's ok Kanan. Actually bahut din ho gaye the zindagi mein dab kuch shant sa chal raha tha. And your birthday gave me ther reason to enjoy.
Kanan: That is really a treat for me. After such a long time i am feeling myself so happy.
Nishant: Well that's what i want as a friend that my my friend will remain happy foreverr in her life.
Kanan looks at him and smiles and he smiles in return.At the same time Nishant's cell rangs and he came out of the restaurant as there was so much noise in the restaurant.
Nishant: Hello. Haan Buaji.
Buaji: Nishant. Kahan hai tu.
Nishant: haan buaji main bahi canada mein hi hoon.
Buaji : Canada mein. Lekin teri to subah ki flight thi.
Nishant: I know Buaji. Par yahan kuch jaroori kaam aa gaya jiski wajah se main aa nahi paya.
Buaji: Well aisa kya kaam aa gaya.
Nishant: Well buaji aap vishwas nahi karengi jab main aapko bataunga ki yahan mujhe kaun mila.
Bua ji: Aisa kaun mil gaya tujhe canada mein.
Nishant: Kanan. Woh yahin canada mein hai.Aur aaj uska birthday hai. Isliye mujhe yahan rukna pada.
Bua ji: Sach mein. That's really good news. Waise kahan hai woh. Meri baat karwa usse .
Nishant: Haan haan ek minute.
Saying this, he calls Kanan from inside and hands her the phone.
Kanan: Hello.
Buaji: Hello Kanan beta. Janamdin bahut bahut mubarak ho. Kaisi ho tum?
Kanan: Thank u so much buaji. Main bilkul theek hoon. Aap bataiye aap log kaise hain?
Buaji: Hum sab badiya hain. Tum to hum logon ko bhool hi gayin.
Kanan: Aisi baat nahi hai buaji. Woh kya hai sab kuch itna jaldi jaldi hua ki kisi ko kuch batane ka mauka hi nahi mila.
Bua ji: Main jaanti hoon beta aur tumhari haalat bhi samajh sakti hoon. Par tum india chhodkar chali gayi. Manti hoon ki ab india mein tumhara koi nahi par hum log to hain . Hum logon ke liye to tum india aa hi sakte ho. Hum log bhi to tumhare apne hain.
Kanan: I know Bua ji .Aur main waada karti hoon ki india aane ki poori koshish karungi.
Buaji: Ok beta. Apna khayal rakhna.
Kanan: Aap bhi buaji.
Saying this, she hands over the phone to Nishant.
Nishant: Haan buaji. Main kal subah ki flight se waapas aa raha hoon.
Kanan have a strange feeling in heart after hearing that but she totaally ignored it.
Buaji: Ok Nishant. Main phone rakhti hoon.
Nishant: Ok buaji bye.
Saying this, he disconnects the phone.
After that they both went went inside the restaurant.
They enjoyed for the full day and then Nishant gets ready to leave for india next morning. Kanan was with him to see off him. They were talking to each other.
Nishant: Ok Kanan. I really enjoyed here with u aur mujhe pata hi nahi chala ki kal ka din kaise nikal gaya.
Kanan: Same here Nishant.
At the same time the announcer announces the arrival of the flight.
Nishant: ok Kanan i think i must leave now. Par jaane se pehle main aapse ek baat jaroor kahunga ki aap ek baar phir india aane ke baare mein soche. Aapko wahan aakar accha lagega aur mujhe bhi ek dost mil jaayega.
Kanan: Well i promise Nishant ki main jaroor is baare mein sochungi.
Nishant: Ok Kanan , bye than and i am expecting to see u in india soon.
Saying this, Nishant leaves from there whereas Kanan kept on looking at him till he disappears from her eyes. She too leaves from there for the academy.

One week passed and Kanan was finding difficult to concentrate her mind on her work. Nishant's words has touched her somewhere inside and she have decided that she will not run away from her past but now will face it to live her life more comfortably. She reaches to an important decision in her mind and leaves for the academy.
After sometime she was in front of MR. Johnson.
MJ: Yes miss Kanan.
Kanan: Sir i have decided to accept your proposal. I am ready to go to India.
MJ: Wow that's really great news Miss Kanan. I was waiting for your decision and i must say that it's really a very good decision.Well i think u will be really happy to know that u can leave tonight for india.
Kanan: What tonight? But sir i have not done any arrnagements.
MJ: Don't worry miss Kanan. I will make all the arrangements . It's morning and u r having the whole day . So u can leave just now and start packing your bags. Andrew will pick u up at sharp 8 Pm .
Kanan: Oh thanku so much MJ. I am really greatful to u.
MJ: It's my pleasure.
Kanan leaves from there and MJ informs Nishant about Kanan's decision who becomes very haapy after hearing that.
Nishant: Thank u so much MJ. You have done such a great work. I will remain thank ful to u for what u have done for my friend.
MJ: It's my pleasure MR. Nishant. Miss Kanan is really a very sincere employee and i think she deserves her happiness too . And i must say u r really a true friend who is doing so much for his friend's happiness. I too want to see her haapy.
After that they both disconnected the phone.
Kanan has packed her bags and was ready to leave when Andrews picked her up from her house. In the car she was thinking that she had decided that she will never ever return to India after recieving so much pain but now she is feeling so much haapiness returning back and she dont know the reason for it.
At the airport , the whole academy bids fairwell to her and she was very emotionaal by seeing her students and staff as they were the people woh were with her in her tough times but she was happy too tht now she is returning in between her own people.
She enters into her flight, takes her seat and after 10 minutes the flight takes off from thier for India.
