"Arun? You?" Divya exclaimed shocked.
"Yeah, the one and only! So how are you? We never got a chance to meet up after that first date." He said.
"Date? Is that what you'd call coffee?" Divya asks with one eyebrow raised.
"Well...umm any time spent with you, should definitely count as a date." Arun said.
"Oh wow....I'm flattered, although you are coming on a bit strong, Mr. Tohani." Divya says cautiously.
"That's only because you are the most beautiful woman in this whole club." Arun says flirting.
"Even more than your sister?" Maya says coming into their conversation.
"Oh hi, Is this your sister Maya?" Divya turns to face Maya. "He's told me so much about you!"
"Only good things I hope?" Maya asks, while glaring at Arun.
"So are you here by yourself?" Arun ignores Maya, talking to Divya.
"No, actually I'm here with a friend, Simran. Oh there she is....dancing with her boyfriend who just came into town today. His name's Aryan." Divya says while scanning the dance floor.
Aryan:
Maya and Arun lean over the railing and see their friend Simran dancing with a guy, really closely.
"Arun, is that really my friend Simran? She seems so wild here, and back at home, she seems so much more subdued." Maya whispers to Arun.
"You know Simran?" Arun asks Divya.
"Simi? Yup....she's been my best friend since like grade school, and recently like a week ago she called and told me that she's in town and so we decided to meet up. Do you guys know her too?" Divya asks.
"She works with Maya in Toronto and is her best friend from elementry school too, I told you about her? Remember?" Arun says to Divya.
"Oh yeah, Im sorry...I just don't know where my head is right now." Divya laughs.
"It's in the clouds and to bring it down to earth, we need to move you around a bit." Arun said.
"Excuse me?" Divya asks.
Maya catches the hint and walks off to find Rahul so they can start dancing.
"I meant, that we need to get you moving, so will you do me the honor of one dance?" Arun asks Divya.
"Hmmm.....Arun, that is a very interesting proposal...and I'll have to say yes!" She answers him back.
She slips her hand into his outstretched hand and they both head down the stairs into the midst of all the excitement.
