"Even if I do, what's it to you?" Arun asks her.
"How do I explain my helplessness to you?" Rushvi asks him, nearly starting to cry.
"Save it. You're just going to start a new lie." Arun says.
"I'll admit it, this Sharad thing was a lie, but...Arun...tell me honestly, don't you believe that I did love you?" Rushvi asks.
For a minute Arun stares deep into Rushvi's eyes, feeling that same fluttery feelings he felt the first time they met. Then Sharad groans in pain which snaps him out of it.
"Oh god Sharad. Are you that hurt?" Rushvi asks.
"If you ask me, he deserves a few more." Rahul says.
"Stop it Rahul." Maya says.
"But Maya..." he trails off as she looks at him with a look as if to say, "not right now!"
She takes his hand and they both walk away, to give Arun and Rushvi privacy.
"What kind of helplessness is it that you can't even tell me the truth for why you married him." Gesturing towards Sharad.
"Arun, how do I make you understand without hurting one of your guys' feelings?" Rushvi says.
"How about this? Just leave it. You have no real explanation for this cheap thing you did. Getting engaged to him, while we were already engaged...." Arun says.
After that last line, he starts walking away.
"Arun, wait!" Rushvi grabs his hand to stop him.
"Rushvi, I have nothing more to say to you. So just stop." Arun says releasing his hand from her grip.
"Arun....Arun....stop!" Rushvi says in vain.
