Back to class!

The mid term holidays were over and the ten students returned to college. Bhoomi and anjali had to keep a watchfull eye of abhir and soham and would often have to shout at them because of other girls flirting with them.
Prem and mukti seemed to be back to normal and they fought as if nothing ever happened.
Adi bugged maithili a lot during class, poking her, pushing her, leaning a little too far over her.
Nisha and manthan seemed to be on truce terms….

In was history class today and the ten came in.
Prem and mukti sat next to each other but still pretended to hate it.
Adi forcefully pulled maithili into his lap and after much struggle she got free from his clutches. "adi!! Koi sharm nahi!! Hum college main hai!!" maithili threateningly whispered to adi, but he simply replied… "toh kya ghar me yeh sab karu??"
"uff!!! Yeh ladka!!!"

Abhir would flirt with Bhoomi non-stop and would irritate her to the core. Soham was pretty much the same

"Prem!!! Concentrate on the board!!! and not on girls wearing mini dresses!!" mukti whined
"jealous much!" prem sniggered
"me…jealous…about you!!! huh!!!!" mukti flustered "I'm just trying to take you onto the right path!!"
"Ohhhhhhhh choti mother India in the making….please don't lie!!! Don't you know its very very bad!!! Satya bol!!! Tell the truth my dear!!! You just want my attention…and really I think you would only get it if you wear a mini skirt!"

Mukti was enraged now…. "i…for one do not want your attention and I am not like one of 'your' girls to dress in mini skirts just for a guy!!!"
"basanti!! My dear dear basanti..why don't you just admit you don't have the figure and the courage to ware such attire!!!"
mukti was about to speak when the teacher interrupted….
"good morning class…today you will be learning about……."
Through out class mukti only thought of the comments prem made about her..huh! idiot..i'll show him!! I can be better that one of his mini models!! Huh!!

In the canteen all 10 were sitting together. "so basanti…Prem started.. do you accept the challenge!!!"
"what challenge?" mukti asked coolly
"for one day, I challenge you to wear a mini skirt to school and if you fail then…"
"but!!! Dddddddd…if I succeed then..??" mukti interrupted
"if you succeed, then I'll be your personally chauffer for the rest of the week!" prem said
mukti smirked and they shook hands… "deal"

Adi: ahem ahem…. Did anyone forget to ask my opinion on this…?? Mukti I for one am not allowing you to wear such clothes and charade around school do you get me!!"
Mukti nodded…but said "no!"
adi smiled and relaxed but realized what mukti said… "hey mukti!!!" he started after her but maithili held his hand.

She realized how important it was for mukti to prove to prem that she was someone different…some one special. Maithili smiled and held adi's hand….
"adi!! chodo na usse!! Let her do that..its only for 1 day!!"
adi frowned and sat back down… "maithili, how can she agree!! I mean what would you do if I told you to dress like that!!" Adi asked her
"then…I'd agree!" "hmm…" adi said… "what!! So you wouldn't slap me!!??!" he asked after thought
"no.." she blatantly replied
"why would I do such a thing…I mean if it was before you said 'I love you' then I would have slapped you, but I'll wear clothes as such tomorrow, just so mukti has company"

Adi sniggered and kissed her cheek, not realizing soham had just returned from ordering food with trays in his hand. Soham froze when he saw adi kiss maithili and maithili smiled back. Adi and maithili just realized soham was behind them. Adi nervously got up… "he he…I was just..um..just…" adi began to stutter
Soham folded his hands and glared at adi.
"bhai…" maithili tried to speak but the bell rang before she could complete her sentence. All ten returned to their classes.

Maithili walked to her class but she got pulled inside the stalk cupboard. She was about to scream but stifled her scream when she realized it was adi. She sighed.. "its you…"
"hell its me!! I'm in for the worst today.. I mean the way soham looked at me..he's gonna kill me…" adi started tousling his hair back and had a worried expression on his face.
"adi…don't worry! I'll talk things out with bhaiya!" maithili held his face in her hands and kissed his forehead.
Adi smirked…. "you know that makes me feel a lot more relaxed…"
"oh really!" maithili said as she raised her eyebrow. "yeah…" adi said holding her waist and pulling her closer. He moved his lips closer to hers but she turned her head away while blushing…

"adi…" she whispered, adi held her chin and gently turned her face towards him. "I love you maithili," maithili smiled and lifted her gaze to his eyes. "I love you too" she whispered. He pulled her into a sweet kiss and she wrapped her arms round him. He tightened his grasp and they slowly parted for breath. He smirked while she blushed.

She slightly pushed him away and ran out. He smirked and sighed … "god I love her!"

Mukti walked through the corridors while hearing girls gossip about her.
"you know she challenged prem that she can look beautiful!"
"I don't even know why prem hangs out with her!"
"this behenji can never make prem interested in her!!"

Mukti sighed and sat on one of the steps. Prem joined her and sat next to her.
"news travels fast round here basanti…"
mukti smiled slightly… "today's news will be history after people see me tomorrow!"
"oh so you're really gonna dress up tomorrow!!"
"ya…like I'd let you win!" she smiled at him again and left
Prem remained seated…I don't know why but I don't really feel like winning the bet…I want you to win
