The figure continues to follow mukti upstairs. Mukti enters the washroom and wipes off the stain on her lehenga, while the figure quietly pushes the door and walks through un-noticed. Meanwhile prem is downstairs cursing mukti in his mind usse mai chodunga nahin!!! What the heck does she think of her self???
He remembered seeing her go upstairs and he smirks.
He starts accendin gup the stairs calling her name.. "mukti…mukti!!"
The stranger in the bathroom grabs mukti from behind and cups her mouth shut. Mukti is engulfed in shock and fright, she turns around to see her worst nightmare.
Tears rush down her eyes and she looks in disgust at the person standing before her.
When she calms herself down, the man takes off his hand from her mouth and she can only utter his name… "sahil.."

Prem continues to walk upstairs and opens the room doors slowly… "mukti…hello….are you here..??"

Adi and maithili are in a room and they hear prem's voice calling out for mukti. Maihitli panics and adi pulls her into a cupboard. Prem enters the room just that minute.
"mukti…??"
Maithili whispers into adi's ears… "why's he looking for mukti?"
adi shrugs his shoulders… "I don't know, but if he sees you and me here…like this…I'll be breathing through a tube by morning…"
Prem goes out of the room and continues to open other room doors in search of mukti.

Mukti is piushed against the bathroom wall and the man named sahil leans over her.
"missed me honey.." he whisperes in her ear. Mukti stutters.. "i..i'll scream…"
"oh really! And who would hear you while partying downstairs??"
Mukti looks really afraid… "please…don't hurt me…what do you want…?"
"I told you!! I want you!!" sahil said speaking in her ear.
"no..no..let me go!! I don't like you..go!!" mukti was crying now and tried to push him away but couldn't. "oh you don't know how long I've been waiting to be alone with you…"
"sahil please…" mukti pleaded.
Sahil moved his face closer and closer to hers. He placed his hand on her arm and squeezed it. Mukti let out a yelp of pain as his fingers crawled up her bare back.
Just as Sahil was about to kiss mukti, he felt a powerful tug and a punch in his face, as sahil looked up from the ground, he saw a man towering over him. He saw mukti rush to him and hug him. She uttered the name… 'prem..'
Using this as an opportunity Sahil escaped out of the washroom and jumped out of the window in the corridor. Prem left mukti but turned round and foresaw that she would faint, and she did, he reached out his arms which she dropped into.
Prem carried Mukti in his arms and took her to a room where he laid her down on the bed. He put the mattress over her and was about to leave when her hand wrapped round his stopped him. He turned to look at her, her eyes were slightly open and her lips opened as she muttered in her sleep… "don't leave me…i…i…" her voice faded as she closed her eyes and fell asleep. He didn't know why, but he kneeled down to her and mused her hair back. He leaned forward and pressed his lips onto her temple… "goodnight…" saying so, he released his hand from hers and went out.
He knew he should speak to adi of this incidence and went out to find him.

By now, adi and maithili had gotten out of the cupboard and were heading out of the room when maithili collided against prem.
"uh..umm..bhaiya…" she looked nervous and prem looked suspicious…
"hey…UD!!" Adi chimed in behind maithili.
P: what are you two doing up here?
A: we were just…you know…
M: looking for mukti! Maithili spoke. Prem nodded and sighed. A tensed look masked his face and maithili looked worried. She put a hand on his shoulder…
Bhaiya… what happened?
Prem reiterated the story to adi and maithili who looked equally tensed.
Adi turned round…: so that's what!
P: what! He asked
A: she used to wake up randomly at night and shout in her sleep. She used to say 'leave me alone sahil' When I asked her who sahil was, she would avoid the question and never tell me. She seemed to stop in the past few months, I think ever she met prerna mom, and you and all the others, and now…
Adi tousled his hair back and maithili put a hand on his shoulder…
"adi…we'll find out what happened to her, right now we have to tell chotima and mayuri aunty about it."
Adi nodded and smiled at maithili, she smiled back and both their eyes locked into each others. Both stared at each other completely forgetting the fact that prem was right behind maithili.
P: uh…sorry to break the eye-lock…but should we leave now…? He said as he nudged Adi and Maithili.
Both adi and maithili looked confused.
P: adi…I think I'd know what you two were doing in there!
A: UD!! No..nothing like that!!
P: ya ya…the way you look at maithili and how she smiles back! Anyone can tell you've fallen for her.
Maithili blushed and prem smiled in a teasing way. "my lil sister's found love in the college flirt adi!! Maihtili smiled but as soon as she realised what prem said she shot a look at adi.
Adi gulped…: kyu marva raha hai bro??
Prem laughed: I'll leave you two to 'discuss' your situation…

It was morning and mukti woke up later than normal, but what frightened her was the fact that 11 people were in her room waiting for her to get up.
M: uh…
Prerna: beta…prem told us what happened…beta do you want to talk to us?
Mayuri sat on the bed next to mukti, "beta talk to us…its allright.."
Mukti shook her head and got up… "mujhe iss bare mein koi baat nahi karni"
She went out and stood in the corridor. Prem walked to her and stood beside her. Both were silent for quite a while till mukti sighed
M: prem…thanks…i…
She turned to look at him and sighed again, then smiled.
This was something prem had never seen her do, smile straight from her heart. He had always seen the loveable, cheeky devil in mukti, the fun-loving image that he had of her in his mind was completely destroyed last night. He was almost frightened for her, the way he saw her crying and faint into his arms.
P: mukti…you want to talk about it?
Mukti shook her head and turned to walk away when he held her hand…
P: you know, talking is what you normally do…for the first time, I want you to be basanti…not mukti…
Mukti smiled weekly.
P: I want to show you something
Mukti raised her eyebrows.
P: no no…I just want to take you out, don't worry! Its not one of my conniving little plans to make you reveal the truth!
Mukti laughed at this : where do you want to take me?
