Chapter 10

After freshening up bhoomi arrives down….

She sees arjun is now dressed up in very simple attire….black pants and blue denim shirt………and an apron….

Arjun was placing the coffee and breakfast on the table……….Noticing bhumi…..

A: (happily) array bhumi …..aao baitho…..

Removing his apron and tossing it aside….he draws the chair for bhumi….she sits down…

But as she sits down she feels a slight pain in her head

B: Ouch!!

A: (concerned) bhumi…kya huwa?????

B: who kuch nahi…zara sa dard hua ….jyaada kuch nahi….

Arjun already had his hands on her forehead analyzing what would have caused the pain

Bhumi realizes that arjun was standing so near to her….she again blushed and smiled which arjun didn't notice

A: dhyaan rakho bhumi…. ye lo ab nashta karo

She saw that he had prepared some omlette and coffee for her….she was lookin at the nashta he had served

A: ahem!! Who mujhe itna hi banana aata hai….

B: (innocently) to kya aap roz yahi khate hain………subah
shaam sirf Omlette……..

A: (looks at her innocent question) ah!! Nahin nahin…..mera cook mere liye khana banata hai……..lekin who ab tak aaya nahin hai ……aaj use apne bhai ki shaadi main jana tha

B: to jab cook nahin hotaa to aap kaise manage karte hain……….

A: ahh……………well pata nahin……..aaj tak to usne chhutti nahin li…par aaj li hai sochta hoon ki office jakar kuch kha loonga……….

B: achcha..

A: waaise tum yahan akele rehti ho………..

B: nahin…main yahan apne bhaiyya ke saath rehti hoon….baba gaon main rehte hain……

A: to aapke bhaiyya kahan hai

B: who actually business ke silsilay main bahar gaye hain…..

A: Oh……….to kya business karte hain who???????????
(To make her feel at ease and comfortable he starts talking about her brother's business)

They keep chattering and in that most of the talking is done by bhumi and he keeps looking at her……..after sometime bhumi says

B: aise kya dekh rahe hain

A: waise tumhara naam bhumi nahi bhavri hona chahiye
tha

B: (surprised) Bhavri……yeh kya naam hai bhala

A: kyun achcha nahi hai

B: nahin who baat nahi hai….par………

A: to phir theek hai aaj se main tumhe bhavri hi kahoonga…and

(brings forward his hands to shake hands)

A: Friends!!

B: (looks at him and then at his hands and): theek hai (smiles and shakes hand)

B: par bhavri hi kyun….yeh naam

A: array baba tumhe dekhkar mujhe laga ki tumhaara
naam bhavri hi hona chahiye……tum itni baatein jo karti ho……

B: (narrowing her eyes) achcha main bahut baatein karti hoon aur tum….

His phone rings….he goes to pick it up……after a few moments….his cell, which he had kept in the
breakfast table, starts ringing, bhumi looks here
and there for a moment and then picks up the phone….thinking that this might be some important call……….
