Aamir and Aaliya headed towards the room.

 

Aamir said nothing and Aaliya too kept quite.

 

They reached their room, Aaliya was the first to step inside and Aamir second, and he closed the door behind him.

 

" I am really sorry for the way my sisters behaved Aaliya. I don't know why they are like this, they have never learnt to respect anyone."

 

Aaliya turned around to face Aamir; this time in his eyes she could see guilt and sorrow.

 

" Its ok Aamir, you don't have to feel guilty about it. It's not your fault that your sisters are like this. So far thought I don't know you well, I can surely say that if you could, you would have surely corrected them, but I can understand that it is beyond your control."

 

" Thank you very much Aaliya, your words have really lifted a great burden off my heart."

 

Aaliya just smiled and this smile conveyed a lot to Aamir.

 

Aamir then walked towards the sofa, Aaliya did not want him to be alone as he will think more about Tahiya and Alisha and feel even more hurt.

 

" Aamir I have a collection of stamps, you can have a look if you are interested", she said in a hesitant voice.

 

" Really, I never knew you collected stamps. Aaliya I would love to see them."

 

He then walked towards Aaliya, who was going through her luggage, trying to find it.

 

" Here it is," she said handing it over to Aamir.

 

Aamir took a seat on the bed and went through each and every page carefully, and with full interest.

 

"These are really very nice," he said after he had gone through all the pages. " You have really done a great job."

 

" Thank you very much."

 

The discussion carried on, with them telling each other their favorites and discovering how much they had in common.
