Chapter 61

ONE WEEK LATER:
Angad was calling every1 up except 4 Kripa. He called Sur twice a day 2 know how she was doing. He called up the office daily 2 give his reports. If Kripa picked up the phone he would simply disconncte the line.
Kripa was miserable as she was having sleepless nights becoz of absence on Angad. She had dark circles below her eyes compared 2 her paler skin. She was passing by Kashish's door when she heard her & Sujal taking Angad's name & fighting. She peeked in the room & stared listeneing 2 their conversations.
KA: how can Angad do this??? He is not fair with Kripa.
S: I know that but I cant help it. U know how stubborn he is.
KA: I know that… but v have 2 make them talk abt this before they divorce each other… divorce is not the solution 4 this problem. He just cant divorce my sister…
S: what can I do? I didn't even know abt this till the time these divorce paper came in the office today. I just took care that KRipa doesn't see it & came 2 talk 2 u as sson as I could.
KA: I will talk 2 Angad.
S: no use… I already did that… he will not buldge.
KA: WHAT the H….
Kashish stopped as soon as she saw a teary eyed Kripa standing on the door. She was trying 2 control her tears but it was becoming impossible… Sujal turned towards the door 2 witness Kashish Hugging Kripa & trying 2 console her.
K: I am sorry… I didn't… want 2 interfere…
KA: relax… I am there… I will not let ur relationship get apart.
S: (handeling Kashish a glass of water) have this u will feel better.
Kripa drank water & when she was stable again she continued 2 talk.
K: u guys were right. I was acting stubborn. I should have talked 2 him.
KA: u still have a chance…
S: Angad has requested 4 an assiastance as he alone is not able 2 handle the mission. U can go in there…
K: he will not let me b there…
S: I can take care of that…
K: but I go in as…
S: obviously as his wife… who also happens 2 b a motorbike racing champion & has come there 4 1 of her races.
K: what if he doesn't agree???
S: then no1 can help him out. I cant leave the office like this.
KA: mom & dad need me & I am not back & I don't know anything abt this part.
S: Naina is miserable & has still not come out of shock… which is actually true. Adi is taking care of Naina.
KA: & Alek is trying 2 break the code Huda sent last time.
S: which leaves only u 2 take care of this mess.
K: what abt Sur????
KA: relax I will take care of her…
S: u just go & start packing. I will make the arrangements.
Kripa left the room with a million thoughts in her mind.
     As soona s Kripa left the room Kashish wiped her tears & gave a thumbs up 2 Sujal who was grinning at her.
KA: v should have joined an acting academy… v r too good at acting…
S: I know. Hope ur plan wokrs out. If it fails then Angad will eat up both alive.
KA: don't worry… trust me.
S: that's what I can do now.

TWO DAYS LATER:
     Kripa was standing at the coorider of the hotel where Angad was staying. She didn't have guts 2 knock on Angad's door. Althought she was confident that Angad would 4give herif she asked 4 it but was not sure abt how 2 start the conversation.
K: (in her mind) I am nervous like anything. It is as if I am going 2 propose him knowing that fact that he will reject me. Then again… I know he loves me & he will not harm me & will forgive me.
     She took in 3 deep breaths & started walking towards Angad's room but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw an Indian girl coming out of that room stragitning her jacket & giving Angad a Kiss on his lips. Angad closed the door as if nothing had happened. The girl went without paying any attention 2 Kripa whose eyes were blazing with fire.
     Kripa started a figth between her mind & heart. Her heart was saying that Angad didn't do anything wrong while her minds just declared that he was cheating on her.
     After 15mins of debate between her mind & heart she decided 2 listen 2 her heart & found herself knocking on Angad's door. He opened the door still googy with sleep & rubbing his eyes. He was shocked 2 see Kripa which was a pleasant shock.
     Kripa just took a look inside the room & found it 2 b a mess. The bed was unmade there was a girls top lying down in the room also a matching purse with it. Also Angad had a faint lipsick mark on his cheeks & lips. Now she stopped listenting 2 her heart & did what her mind told her to.
     Kripa gave a thight slap 2 Angad on his face when he was abt 2 hug her & kiss her. He had missed her like hell. He couldn't wait 2 b near her & ask 4 forgiveness 4 being so stubborn. The thought that he was imagining Kripa when he saw her at his door step.
The slap given 2 him brought him out of his sleep.
K: u r an untrustworthy rascal Angad. U can never b trusted. I made a mistake coming here. I thought I had over-reacted that day but u just proved that I was right abt what I did…
She was still blabbering when Angad placed his hand on her mouth 2 shut her up and also 2 cuver up his urge 2 kiss those lips.
A: 1st of all shut up… I don't care what u think abt me. If u don't want2 see me u may leave.
Kripa left the place without another word… & Angad went back 2 sleep… as it is he hadn't slept a wink last night.
