Angad was surprised 2 see Sur standing there with her teddy bear in her arms & rubbing her eyes. Angad lifted her up in his arms & kissed her on her cheeks & then on her lips…
A: what happened 2 my little princess??
SU: dady, I was sleeping nicely but Mr. bear saw a bad dream & woke me up.
A: ok. Let's make u & Mr. bear in & put the 2 of u 2 sleep…
When the 2 of them reached the bed Kripa was buttoning up her shirt & straightening up her hair which were now a complete mess thanks 2 Angad. Angad made Sur lie down on the bed. He went 2 the table near which Kripa was standing on the pretext of taking his cell & whispered to her " don't worry I will get u next time sweet heart. That's a promise." Causing Kripa blush.Then he slid next 2 Sur. Sur who hadn't seen Kripa or her room looking like a mess decided 2 question her.
SU: mom… y is ur hair so messy & y is the pillow & that pic down??
Kripa didn't know how 2 ans Sur's question. She turned 4 help from Angad but all he did was 2 grin. Kripa gave him a stern look but even that didn't help instead made him grin widely. Kripa slid in beside Sur & said.
K: darling… ur dady did that mess… so ask him abt it…
Angad hadn't expected Kripa 2 turn the tables on him like this. His grin was lost & a smirk appeared on Kripa's face with a look saying "got u". Sur turned 2 Angad 4 an ans.
SU: dady y did u make a mess?? U know mom hates its…
Angad knew he had 2 ans quickly & put Sur 2 sleep b4 she could ask any more questions…
A: princess… dady thought it would b a nice change 2 make a mess of a neat room so dady did it.
SU: oh! I see…
A: good. Now go off 2 sleep. V have 2 get up early in the morning as u have 2 go 2 school & dady & mommy have 2 go 2 office…
SU: dady can I ask 4 a favour… (Angad nods) I don't want 2 go school…
A: & y is that???
SU: the teachers r so boring & they make us reapeat their work…
K: it is becoz they want u 2 learn it…
SU: but its so boring…
K: b it anything no bunking of school 4 u.
Sur made a sulken face but it didn't have any effect on Kripa.
K: that works only on ur father & not on me darling… so better luck next time.
Angad kisses Sur on her cheeks causing her 2 giggle.
A: so what did my princess dream abt??
Sur hits her head with her hand & makes a face saying…
SU: I didn't have a bad dream silly… Mr.s bear had it…
K: ok… what did MR. Bear dream abt???
SU: he saw Pia aunty in his dream & woke up….
A: sweetheart it is not a bad dream then… it is called a nightmare…
He receives a stern glare from Kripa but he pays no attention 2 her.
SU: (innocently) what's a night… nightware??
A:(laughs at her prounciation) not nightware princess… its nightmare…M… A… R… E. it is something horiible in ur dream…
SU: ok… I see… so MR. Bear had a nightmare & woke me up. I was not able 2 fall sleep again so came here so that u guys could put me 2 sleep…
K: v will darling…
Kripa kissed Sur on her forehead & started patting her slowly & lovingly 2 put her 2 sleep. Within a few mins Sur was asleep. When Kripa's attention went 2 Angad she saw him staring at her as if lost in some trance. She shook him out of his dream world…
K: where r u lost MR. Khanna??
A: no where… I was thinking that with u 2 around my life is perfect… I can no longer imagine my life without any of u.
K: (smiles softly) the feeling is mutual… good night Angad.
Kripa just brushed her lips against Angad's & lied down pulling the covers on her.
A: good night… don't 4get I will get u back tom…
K: v shall see…
MORNING:
Kripa was curdelled like a ball next 2 Angad in his arms. She was comfortable in the circle of his arms. Both of them got up due to the buzzing of the alarm. Both of them r surprised 2 wake up in this position. Kripa curdells close 2 Angad while Angad tightens his grip round Kripa's waist.
A: its feels nice 2 wake up like this…
K: I feels nice 2 wake up in ur husband's arms…
Both of themclose their eyes 2 drift back 2 sleep. Then both of them remember that Sur was sleep in with them.
A/K: SUR… where is she?
The 2 of them rush out & begin searching 4 her in the whole house but r not able 2 find her. Finally they head off 2 the park which Angad had especially made 4 her with all the toys placed 4 ther with a small house 4 her. & find her playing with her toys. Both of them leave a sight of relief.
Sensing the presence of her parents Sur looks up 2 them & smiles innocently. Seeing her smile Angad & Kripa 4get abt there anger & go 2 her & sit on the swing with her. Angad lifts Sur from the swing & places her on his lap. He kisses her on her lips & says.
A: what is my princess doing up so early??
SU: oh… I up early & saw u & mommy sleeping… I didn't want 2 wake u up… so I started playing with my dolls…
K: u know when v got up v got scared becoz u were not there with us…
SU: (holds her ears) sorry… but don't worry abt me now… I am big girl…
A: that u r… now get ready & have breakfast… v don't want 2 b late.
Kripa got Sur ready while Angad got ready. When she came back she saw Angad combing his hair. Kripa went 2 her closet 2 get her clothes & was heading 2 the bathroom when she felt Angad's hands sliding throught her waist & pinning her against his chest. B4 she could say anything he was kissing her neck slowly…causing her 2 blush…
K: Angad…
A: hmmmm
K: v will get late…
A: v can take a off… its been days since I have had a day off…
K: & what abt Sur???
A: (Still nuzzling her neck) I will tell Sujal 2 drop her off 2 school…
The shrilling of the phone had Angad groaning as he reluctantly left Kripa 2 ans it. Seeking this oppurtinity Kripa ran off the bathroom.
PHONE CALL:
It was Veena.
A: hello… eena aunty
V: (worried) Angad… is Sujal there with u??
A: no aunty… but y r u so worried. (alarmed by her voice.)
V: beta… he not back home last night. I am trying 2 contact him but his cell is switched off…
A: relax aunty… I will see where he is…
He cuts off the phone & contacts the head quarter 2 check if Sujal is there at the office…. But they said that Sujal was also not at the office.
Angad gets worried. By this time Kripa comes out & is surprised 2 see a tensed Angad pacing the room & trying 2 contact some1 on the cell frantically. She holds his hand & makes him sit down…
K: what's the problem Angad??
A: Veena aunty called… Sujal was not home the last night… he is not in the office & is not picking up his cell… I am worried 4 him Kripa…
He hugs Kripa & Kripa strokes his head 2 cool him down.
K: may b he is with Sur & Kashish hatching a plan 2 trouble Pia.
A: may b… I will go & ask Sur.
K: & I will ask Kashish.
Angad kisses Kripa on her lips & says.
A: thank u…
K: 4???
A: just being there 4 me…
Angad leaves the room & goes 2 Sur & asks him abt Sujal. She tells him that even she hasn't seen the 2 of them since last night.
Angad comes back & sees Kripa trying the phone franctically now.
A: what happened??? What did Kashish say???
K: she not picking up the phone…
A: may b she is still sleeping…
K: Angad she wakes up even if some1 enters her room even when she is bound 2 b deep asleep…
A: I think so v better go check her room…
The 2 of them rushed 2 Nanda mansion.
