Mahi finished her 2nd year exams successfully and entered into 3rd year of college. She started having industrial excursions. She visited different fabric manufacturing companies and clothing companies. She is so excited and kept dreaming about her future.
Shabd is having many tours now and couldn't concentrate on Mahi's studies. Mahi put more efforts on her studies now as she felt left alone without Shabd's supervision or assistance in her studies. She stopped going to parties, movies, even to her maayka. Mohini requested her many times to spend time with them as Shabd is out of town but Mahi softly refused on excuse of her studies. Raaji and Soni became busy with their own routines.
Mahi finished her half year exams and relaxing in her couch reading a fashion magazine sipping tea.
She got up to see when the phone rang. "Hai, MahiRani! How are you? How did you do your exams?" Shabd enquired with great affection.
Shabd started calling her 'MahiRani' for last few months as their intimacy developed a little closer. Mahi is excited "Shabd! Aap? When will you be back? I'm missing you." Mahi bit tongue after realizing what she just said.
Shabd is also shocked with excitement "Mahi! Phirsey kaho"
Mahi pouted her lips "I was having so many doubts about my projects. You helped me out every time. I tried your cell couple of times. But you didn't even respond." She covered herself and blamed him.
Shabd laughed at other end thinking "Yeh Mahi bhi kabhi confess kudh nahin karegi, mujhey hi kuch karna padega;" and he apologized "Sorry, MahiRani! I was totally busy and couldn't reply. I just realized you might have finished with your exams and felt like enquiring you."
"Thanks, Atleast you remembered now" Mahi taunted him.
"MahiRani! Gussa mat hojaao. Tumhara yeh deewana par reham karo"
Mahi chuckled "Kiyajayega agar aap abjhi ki abhi yahan tasveer rakhey toh."
"Okay rakhdiya" Mahi dropped her jaw for his sudden appearance.
Shabd winked at her "So, You missed me and you say coz of your projects!!" he looked at her with naughty expressions.
Mahi blushed and bit her lower lip. He took advantage of the situation and walked close to her. She startled and took steps backward and stopped when she has no way to escape as she hit the wall.
Shabd laughed and pinched her nose "My darling MahiRani! I love you. I love your excuses. Jab yeh excuses khatam hongey na tab bataoonga miss karna kya hota hai."' He caressed her cheeks making her chuckle and blush.
"Iss kushi mein ek movie par chaley?"
Mahi shook her head sideways "Nahin long drive par chalengey, movie mein hum don kya baat karengey bus movie dekhtey rahengey."
Shabd dropped her jaw after hearing her and looked at her unbelievingly. He rolled his tongue as he is noticing some development in Mahi's affection towards him. "So, she really missed me!! great change!!" he thought happily in his mind.
Mahi again bit her tongue in mind and searched for words "Mera matlab hai ki, you want to spend time with me so, we can talk here or drive par..wo..actually … I'm okay with movie, if you really want…to.." She mumbled.
Shabd smiled as he understood her "Chalo, drive per hi chaltey hai, I too want to share something about my trip. It's useful for your studies and career."
Mahi relieved and shook her head and went to get ready. Shabd took her on long drive and they talked only about the business and her studies. Mahi relieved completely and thanked Shabd for saving her from temptations.
