Its engagement time ……..in the evening………

 

The whole house is being readied…..the house is decorated fully with lavender colours……soft white curtains……lavender flowers……spreading its fragnanace all over…….

 

 

Pratap khandelwal is very happy as well as nervous….and is busy supervising all the finishing touches…….he did not want anything less for his daughter mansvi…….

 

 

In mansvi's room……….she is getting ready………equally excited as well as nervous……whereas bhumi and shefali are excited……..

 

 

Mansvi is wearing a soft yellow saree…….along with matching jewellery……

 

……sitting in front of the mirror ……and givin finishing touches to her make up……

 

 

Bhumi and shefali are helping her to get ready……..

 

 

Sf: waah!! Di you are  looking amazing today……

 

 

B: (laughs) haan suraj jeeju to inhe dekhkar aaj behosh ho jaayenge……..najane phir engagement kaise karenge!!!(laughs again)

 

 

Mv: bas bahut hua huh!

 

Sf: (smiling) arre didi hum to aapki taarif kar rahi thi……

 

 

Mv: (smiling) shefali main achchi tarah jaanti hoon tum meri tariff kar rahe ho ya phir keechai kar rahe ho!!(arranging her bangles)

 

B: nahi di……

 

 

Mv: bas mujhe mat seekhao tumhari didi hoon main…….

 

Just then a call comes from down……

 

LARKE WALE AA GAYE HAIN……COME DOWN……

 

 

B: lo jeeju bhi aa gaye……

 

 

Sf: haan ab jaldi chalo didi se intezaar nahi ho raha hoga……(teasing)

 

 

B: (holding mansvi) haan jeeju bhi to bechain ho rahe honge….. nahi……

 

 

Mansvi blushes and smiles…….

 

 

B: arre didi to sharma gayi….jeeju ka naam lete hi………

 

 

Mv: ab chale(still blushing)

 

 

B: haan chalenge na itni kya jaldi hai……ab to zindagi bhar unhi ke bahon mai rehna hai(slightly hits mansvi wid hr shoulder)

 

Mansvi is blushing…….

 

 

B: arre didi abhi itna sharmaogi to suhaagraat ke time kya hoga(in a teasing manner)hmm????

 

 

Sf: arre bhumi ye tune kye kiya suhaagraat ki yaad dila di…….ab to bechari di se intezaar hi nahi hoga……..ahem ahem I mean suhaagraat ka intezaar…….

 

 

Mansvi is surprised………shefali and bhumi laugh……

 

 

Mv: (holding bhumi's and shefali's ear) bahut badmaash ho gayi ho dono…….

 

Shefali and bhumi: ah di sorry choddo na…….

 

 

Meanwhile down in the hall ……..

 

 Paratap khandel wal welcomes the guys side……..

 

Pratap: namaste mansen ji ……namste shakutala ji

 

Mansen: namste pratap…….

 

They are welcomed……Suraj is welcomed by aarti……..

 

Arjun and yuvraj are standing behind him and getting excited about the engagement………..

 

 

Pratap: aao suraj beta come in……..

 

Everyone comes in………..

 

A: wow!! Achcha arrangement kiya hai naa…….

 

Y: hmm cool arrangement……

 

But suraj is least interested in their talks ……he was searching and waiting for mansvi…….

 

Arjun and yuvraj noticed this……

 

 

He keeps looking up towards the stairs……(he is wearing a golden brown sherwani)

 

 

A: arre bhaiyya un seedhiyon(stairs) ko dekhte rahoge to mansvi bhabhi jaldi nahi aane wali…….(wearing a white-silver sherwani)

 

 

Arjun's interruption brings back suraj to them…….

 

 

Suraj blushes………

 

A: arre bhaiyya to sharma gaye……bhaiyya sharma gaye……waise sharmate huye kitna achche lagte hai

 

Su: arjunnn chup…..yaha itne logon ke samane……..

 

A: oh! Sorry bhaiyya……waise aapki bechaini dekhkar aisa lagata hai jaise aap suhaagraat tak intezaar kaise karoge…….(in a teasing tone)

 

Yuvraj laughs at this…..

 

Su: shut up !! pratap uncle sunenge to kya kahenge…..

 

Y: kya kahenge kuch nahi……after all hum kuch bura to nahi keh rahe hai…………..

 

Su: tum dono se baat karna useless hai…….

 

Suraj again starts looking at the stairs again…….completely lost……

 

Arjun sighs…….

 

A: arre larkiyan hai…. To intezaar karwa karwa ke mere bhai ki jaan logi kya…..( in a teasing tone) phir shaadi kisse karogi…….?

 

Y: haan larkiyoon ko tayar hone main bahut waqt lagta hai……I know well………..(wearing black sherwani)

 

 

A: haan humare saath ek experienced member hai naa …….yuv ji…..bechare shefu  baby ke nakhre sehte rahte hain……..

 

 

Yuvraj gives him a angry look……

 

Su: tum dono phir bole(angry)……

 

 

Arjun and yuvraj keep finger on their lips……like small kids....

 

 

Oh soory ab nahi bolenge(laughs slightly)

 

Suraj gets engrossed in looking towards the stairs……

 

Arjun notices this…….he calls yuvraj and tells him to come near and whispers in yuvraj's ear……..

 

 

A: ye bhaiyya pagal ho gaye hain……socho kabse pagalon ki tarah un seedhiyon ko dekh rahe hain…….

 

 

Y: socho wo bhi abhi se…..shaadi huyi bhi nahi hai……

 

 

A: to shaadi ke baad …….jaane kya hoga(laughs)

 

Suddenly…….

 

Su: bachoo jab tumhari shaadi hogi naa tab  zaroor poochoonga tumse ye sawaal…

 

 

Arjun and yuv are shocked…..suraj listened to everything they said…….

 

 

A: bhaiyya ……hum to…….woh

 

 

Su: uh!! Kya….bolo …….hum to….. who…….kya…….hmm

 

 

Y: nahi bhaiyya……hum to ye keh rahe the ki app aaj kya dashing lag rahe hain…….

 

 

Su: achcha!!(smiling tauntingly) ……. nahi !! Bhaiyya to pagal hain naa……unhe kya sunai dega…..hainaa…….

 

 

When suraj is sayin all these……arjun eyes turn towards the stairs and he keeps lookin over there…….

 

Suraj notices this……and calls arjun by shakin him…….

 

Su: arre kya huwe tujhe……

 

Arjun doesn't respond…….so suraj and yuvraj look back…….

 

They all are stunned...........and keep looking at the stairs.....
