....both were quiet.....they held hands and walked through the cold sand in moonlight!
Naina broke the silence.....
"So, Colonel.....how was the party?"
Raj looked at her, she was beaming with pleasure. Army meant Naveen to her.....she had never been very ambitious....but was very honest when it came to her work.....so she was always apprecited....she was actually more popular then Raj....but Rajveer has a separate place....she looked up to him...drew inspiration from him....he has kept his promise....he was still....her mentor....her philosopher.....her guide!
He gave a laugh.....
"Waise yeh 'Colonel' waali baat to badi surprise thi..."
"Hmmm....."
They spoke less...they were feeling each other's presence....quietly....trying to loose themselves of everything but eachother......
"Waise Naina, tumhari tabiyat to theek hai na?"
"Haan....kyun...."
"Nahin....woh...yeh saari....", he smirked!
"Kya...."
"Nahin....tum gazab lag rahi thi....pehchana hi nahin tumhe.....tum itni glamorous.....itne saal thi kahan?"
She looked down....
"Woh to Colonel, challange....thi na.....aur jeeto ya haaro....challange accept karna hi jeet hoti hai...."
"Navee..."
"Haan....he he....Bhaiyya kehte the....."
The were now walking in water....with their feet immeresed....Rajveer tried to pull up his pants....but just like Naina he too failed.....
"Aur Yudi....kitne saal beet gaye...."
"Haan, aur woh ban hi gaya na....jo usse hamesha se ban na tha.....cool!! Par sach kahun Raj, Mujhe wohi confused sa Yudi pasand hai....."
They were talking about everything....KMA...army....some collegue officers....Shalini.....Breg.Chandok.....Naina's attire.....their challenge....fighting on who won the bet......but they had the same thing in their hearts.....immense love for each other.....waiting to be expressed......very tenderly.....once again.....
"Naina?"
"Hmm...."
But as she turned to face him.....he splashed water on her!
"Eeeeeeeshhh....Raj...meri saari...."
He started laughing.....but befor he realished anything....
SPLASH!!!! he felt wet...and she had slashed some water on him....and was now running away from him at full speed.....
"Aye.....thats not fair....."
Rajveer ran after her to catch her.....
"....not fait, Naina.....thats cheating!!!!"
Naina giggled loudly....and continued running.....but now Rajeer was quite close to her.....
"EVERYTHING IS FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR, COLONEL!!!!....AND THIS IS....."
It was just than, Naina tumbled over her saari.... with those high hills, no wonder......but while she was falling, Raj was quite near, so he tried to catch hold of her....and they both fell and rolled over....holding each other.....
Now, there they were on wet sand...lying side by side....Raj facing her....
"....and this is.....just.....", whispred Rajveer, moving very close to her......
"....just LOVE!", and she smiled, the sweetest ever.....
As if mother nature wanted to complete this very romantic scene.....rain started pouring in......heavy rains......
....and Rajveer looked down at her, and smiled....
