Part 32:

Kripa: samajh gayi...aap sab sach jaante hai...phir bhi anjaan ban rahe hai na?....koi baat nahi...mein akeli chali jaungi...mein usse abhi milne ja rahi hoon..

Kripa got up and darted out the door without waiting for anyone's reply or waiting for anyone to follow.  Angad got up and ran after her.  He finally caught her near his car.

Angad: Kripa...ruko! 

Kripa: Angad...tum mujhe sirf itna batao ki tum mujhe uske paas le jaa rahe ho ya nahi?

Angad: dekho Kripa baat samajhne ki koshish karo..

Kripa: haan ya na Angad?

Angad(sighed): Ok Kripa....par tumhe kya lagta hai?  Woh tumse milegi?

Kripa: jaanti hoon woh mujhe dekhte hi kuch na kuch bahana bana degi....lekin mein chahti hoon...jab hum wahan jaaye to pehle to tum usse nahi kahoge ki mein ayi hoon...baad mein main saamne aa jaungi....

Angad: ok Kripa...

Kripa(hugged Angad): Thanks Angad...i am sorry for my stupid behaviour....

Angad: I understand your feelings...lets go before its too late....

Angad and Kripa drove to Anjali's house.   Kripa walked closely behind Angad so Anjali couldn't see her tiny body behind Angad's tall and well built one.  Angad gently knocked on the door.  Anjali looked through the keyhole and opened the door slightly.

Anjali: Kripa hai tumhare saath?

Angad(crossed his fingers behind his back): Nahi...sirf mein hoon..

Anjali opened the door a little wider, but Angad didn't walk in.

Anjali: Kya hua?

Angad: nahi bas woh....sirf puchne aya tha ki yahan sab theek hai ki nahi..

Anjali: yahan pe kya ho sakta hai Angad...tum Batao...Kripa kaisi hai...

This time Angad stepped aside and unveiled Kripa.  Anjali was speechless.  She dug her eyes into the floor.

Kripa: dekh lo...kaisi ho sakti hoon apni best friend ke bina......

Anjali(sighed): Andar aa jao..

Kripa and angad stepped into the house but Kripa stopped after taking a few steps.  She wasn't there to sit and chat.  She was there to get an explanation from Anjali.

Kripa: Kyun Anjali?  kyun kiya tumne aisa....pata hai Anjali..mere saath jo kuch bhi hua uske baad mujhe kiski bahut jarurat thi?  Mujhe Angad ki, Tumhari aur aliyah ki jarurat thi...Angad to har pal mere saath tha..Aliyah ne bhi jhoot bola ki Josh london business ki vajah se gaya hai..lekin sach to ye hai ki woh apna honeymoon chod kar ayi hai....lekin tum?  Tumhari bhi to jarurat thi na mujhe Anju?  Phir aise waqt mein tum mujhe akela chod kar kyun chali ayi yahan par.....aur agar socha jaye...to is accident mein jitna meine khoya hai...utna hi Angad ne khoya hai...mujhe to woh sambhal leta tha..lekin usse kisne sambhala anju?  tumne usse apna bhai maana hai na?  To kya ek behen ka farz nahi banta ki aisi situation mein woh apne bhai ke saath ho?  Tum to hum dono ko akela chod kar aa gayi anjali....kyun?

Anjali couldn't take it anymore.  She burst into tears and hugged Kripa.

Anjali: I am sorry Kripa....i swear to god..mein yahan pe tumse door reh to rahi hoon...lekin ek bhi minute aisa nahi gaya jab meine tumhare baare mein socha nahi...mein nahi chahti thi ki tumhare saath itna hadsa hone ke baad mein wahan rahoon...kyun ki tum mujhe iss halat mein dekhti to tum kabhi is accident ko bhul nahi paati...mein nahi chahti thi ki meri vajah se tumhe koi dukh pahunche...mein jaanti hoon aise waqt mein mujhe tumhare aur Angad ke saath hona chahiye tha...lekin meri problem bhi to samjho Kripa..

Kripa: Problem...kaisi problem Anju?  Koi problem nahi hai..problem tum khud create kar rahi ho...mein kuch nahi jaanti....tum aur dhruv hamare saath vapas chal rahe ho....anjali...mein nahi chahti..ki mere saath jo hua...aisa kuch tumhare saath ho...mein nahi chahti ki tum akeli raho...tumhe chalna hoga mere saath...Angad..bolo na isse...samjhao na...

Angad: bahut koshish ki thi meine Kripa....lekin Anjali ne meri baat nahi maani...Anjali...ek baar phir se request kar raha hoon...please...wapas chalo...zidd mat karo...mere liye na sahi, apne liye na sahi...lekin kripa ke liye...please?

Anjali: Do I have a choice?

Kripa(smiled wide): No you dont!

Anjali: ok...I will come back with Dhruv tomorrow...he won't be back until late night today....ok?

Kripa: agar kal nahi ayi na to mein tumhe kidnap karke le jaungi.....

Anjali: theek hai baba....le jana...ab ek request mein karoon?

Kripa: bolo...

Anjali: Actually...i am having a sudden craving for a cheesy stir fry...i dont know how to make it.

Kripa: I'll have it done in no time....tum dono baitho..mein aadhe ghante mein wapas aati hoon..

Kripa went into the kitchen while Angad and Anjali settled in the living room.  Angad seemed in deep thoughts while Anjali debated upon bringing up a topic.  At last she decided that she would talk to him about it since Kripa was not around.

Anjali: Angad...tumne mujhe apni behen kaha hai na?

Angad: anjali....sirf kaha nahi hai...maana hai...

Anjali: to us rishte ke haq se ek sawaal kar sakti hoon??

Angad: of course

Anjali: tumne Kripa se apne dil ki baat kahi?

Angad(blushed and sighed): nahi anjali...abhi tak bata nahi paaya....jab bhi batana chaha..koi na koi distraction aa gaya..

Anjali(guility): woh distractions hum jaan buj kar laa rahe the...

Angad: hum?

Anjali: Mein aur Aliyah...actually...hum dono ne ye plan meri shaadi se pehle banaya tha..

Angad: Plan?  I am so confused...tell me everything anjali..

Anjali calmly told him everything.  How they made Angad-Kripa get so close then how they started keeping them apart so they realize the TRUE feelings that they denied for an unknown reason.

Anjali: jab aunty aur uncle guzar gaye tab humne socha ki plan ko change kar dete hai..lekin us waqt hum mein itni himmat nahi thi ki aisa kuch kare....in those two months...you and Kripa got really close...and then her miscarriage and everything....but now I can clearly see that you have realized you true feelings for her....

Angad: but why did you guys do it?  I mean..i was going to tell her anyways

Anjali: thats what we didnt want....we didnt want you to tell her that you LIKE her....we wanted you to tell her that you LOVE her...

Angad: I see your point...hm...i must say...you and Aliyah have a mastermind at planning...We did get closer after you guys tried to keep us apart and you know what?  Today, I can say without any doubt, confusion or fear that i love her.....

Anjali: out of us 6, only Kripa doesnt know that.....

Angad: well...i think she does...i dont know...even I think she has feelings for me.....but we never really said it to each other...we do feel it though im sure!

Anjali: Angad...pyaar ka izhaar ho na ho lekin pyaar ka ehsaas hona bahut jaruri hai...jo tum dono ko hai....Meine Kripa ki aankhon mein tumhare liye bahut pyaar dekha hai....aur tumhari aankhein bhi wohi dastaan sunati hai...

Angad: You think I should tell her?...you think It's the right time?  I mean..after the miscarriage....won't it seem like I am saying it out of sympathy?

Anjali: how about you wait until next weekend?

Angad: anything special next weekend?

Anjali: nahi....kuch khaas nahi...bas...tumhare parents ki 25th anniversary hai!

Angad: OH CRAP!!!  I can't believe I forgot!!!!  Oh my god...what has happened to me??  I forgot my birthday and now my parent's 25th anniversary!...

Anjali: hota hai...pyaar mein kabhi kabhi aisa hota hai!

Angad: I have exactly one week to plan something for that day..

Anjali: Me and Aliyah to the rescue once again!  We have everything set.  Dont worry about it!

Angad: oh my god!  really?  Kya plan hai?

Anjali: its a surprise..

Kripa(walking out of the kitchen): What's a surprise....

Anjali:  Hai ek surprise.....agar surprise bata dungi to surprise kaise rahega?

Kripa: thats true...accha....tumhari cheesy stir fry ready hai...theek se kha lena ok?  Ab mujhe aur Angad ko chalna chahiye...mein dinner chod kar ayi hoon...sab ghar par pareshaan ho rahe honge...

Angad-Kripa bid bye to Anjali, once again taking a promise from her that she will come back to Khanna house next morning.
