Note: again....a short part...i am so sorry for the short parts lately but like i said before...i promise to make it up on monday(thats when i will write my last exam)...so I will post a longer part or maybe TWO parts on monday.....my treat for the completion of those darned exams!..lol....

Part 22:
As soon as they woke up in the morning, they freshened up and started studying as their exams were a week away.  Angad explained Kripa a few things that she hadn't studied yet.  To Kripa's surprise, she still remembered everything she learned before coming to india.  Angad and Kripa went to the university together to her the application for her.

Principal: Its not a problem for her to write the exam if she passes the verbal interview.  If she passes the interview, she can write the exam...

Angad: when would be the interview?

Principal: I can get the councelor to interview her right now if you are in not a hurry.  It won't take long...maximum an hour.

Angad: Kripa?...will you be able to hadle it today on such a short notice?

Kripa nervously nodded her head.

Angad: alright....shes ready for the interview.

Principal: great.  I will let the councelor know, she will meet you at room 254.

Angad & Kripa: Thanks.

Angad and Kripa started making their way to room 254.  Kripa was getting more nervous by each step she took.  She grabbed on to Angad's arm.  it wasnt very long until all pairs of eyes followed the couple.

Kripa(awkwardly): um Angad...why are they looking at us like that?

Angad: because they dont know you and probably are surprised to see me walking so close to a girl....

Kripa: oh you mean they don't know about our..

Angad: no...no one knows...i was going to make you attend university...i was sure of it....and If they knew you were my wife, they would annoy you and bug you about it...you know....the whole "u got married so early" and all of that crap.....so Me and josh decided on not telling anyone.

Kripa: I see...

They had reached room 254.  Kripa started pacing across the door while Angad stood there leaning on the wall, looking at her.

Angad: Kripa relax...

Kripa: I am trying...i dont know why im nervous....usually im never scared with things like this......i guess its the new system....

Angad: whatever it is...you have to pass this interview and i know you will...

Kripa: i hope i do...

Councelor: Ms. Kripa..

Kripa: um..its Mrs.Kripa....thats me.....

Councelor(raised her eyebrow): your married?

Kripa: um yea...

Councelor: you're here with your husband?

Kripa(looked at Angad): I believe so.

Councelor: Oh....Angad....I see.  Well...congratualtions on the new life, best wishes for your further life.  Mrs.Kripa...are you ready?

Kripa: um....i think so.

Councelor: Alright...step right in.

Councelor stepped into the room.  Kripa looked at her and then at Angad.  She started to walk towards the room when Angad held her hand and stopped her.

Angad: best of luck.  You will do great.  I know it.

Angad kissed Kripa's cheek before parting.  Kripa went into the room and started her interview.  Angad paced around the hallway in front of the room.  He was getting nervous as well.  After about 45 minutes.  Kripa came out of the room looking serious.

Angad: Kripa....how did it go?

Kripa looked up at him as if she was going to cry any second now.  She walked away a few steps from him leaving angad standing there confused.  Kripa suddenly turned around and ran to Angad throwing herself on him as she screamed "i passed!!!".  Angad lifted her holding her waist an twirled her around.  Kripa gave him a tight hug as soon as he put her down.  All passers in the hall just looked at them surprised while some gave a congratulating smile to Angad.

Kripa(extremely excited): oh my god..i passed..i passed i passed i passed......im so happy...thank you so much!!!!

Angad: Congratulations.  Now you will be attending university with me....that is awsome.....i get to spend more time with you...infact...i will be spending 24 hours a day with you..

Kripa(teasingly): ooooooo...you want to spend time with me....i see...

Angad blushed as kripa started giggling.  kripa came near his ear and whispered.

Kripa: I want to spend more time with you too.

angad(smiled): the beach?

Kripa: awsome.

Both reached the beach after a short drive.  When they reached, they were surprised at the crowd.  Both looked around in a complete surprise to see couples spending precious time on the beach while cuddling, hugging, walking hand-in-hand and sharing kisses.

Kripa: um...okay then....what is it "love on the beach day"?

Angad didnt say antyhing, He just quietly took kripa's hand and entagled fingers and started walking.  Kripa, surprised at first, but then locked her fingers as well and started walking beside him.  Both walked hand-in-hand, each in their own thoughts.  Suddenly someone called after them.  Both turned around to find Josh and Aliyah catching up to them.

Aliyah: hey guys.....how come your here?

Josh: um....finally holding hands?

Aliyah: josh!  what kind of question is that...

Angad and Kripa quietly, and reluctantly let go of each other's hand.  Angad cursed josh for ruining the perfect moment.

Angad: guys..we have news..

Josh: WHAT??  REALLY??? HOW MANY MONTHS?

Kripa(embarrassed, shocked, surprised): BHAI!!!

Angad: um no....not THAT news......Kripa passed her interview...so now she can write the exam.

Josh and Aliyah congratulated her and shared their happiness.

Josh: angad..how about we go for a "guys only" walk?...im tired of having ali around,.

Kripa: and your not even married yet...

Aliyah: josh to aisa hi hai....josh....you are tired of having me around but did you ask Angad if he is tried of having Kripa around?

Angad: its ok ali....i have to talk to josh anyways.

Josh and Angad went one way while Kripa and Aliyah decided to sit on the sand.

Josh: so Angad...kya kehna chahte ho?

Angad: um....you have to promise you won't tell anyone....not even aliyah...

Josh: oh...this is serious..ok...i promise i wont tell......now spill it dude..

Angad: Josh...I really really like kripa.....

Josh: not surprised

Angad: why not?

Josh: its pretty noticeable....

Angad: really?

Josh: um yea....dude...the way you are all smiles when she's around, the way you get so lost in her eyes, they way you look at her,(Angad blushing)..the way you blush when her name is mentioned..

Angad: um ok...that a big enough list.......but there is a porblem with that...

Josh: dont worry...im sure she likes you back.  She shows the same characteristics...

Angad:hm...but what if i tell her and she gets upset or angry or something.....i really like her man...i dont want to hurt her or upset her....

Josh: She won't get upset....afterall you are her husband....

Angad: you know what?  I tell her after the exams.....i dont want her to get anything else to worry about....i can always tell her after our exams..or maybe on your wedding....but thanks...felt good after i talked to you....all of these thoughts were killing me inside...

Josh: anytime buddy....alright..lets head back before the ladies get mad at us...

Josh and Angad headed back to find Aliyah and Kripa standing in the water staring at the view.  Josh went and cuddled Aliyah from behind while Angad just went and stood beside Kripa.  This time, to Angad's surprise, Kripa put her hand around his waist and he reciprocated the same way.  Angad and Kripa headed home while josh and Aliyah stayed to spend some more time togehter.  Angad conveyed the news of Kripa passing the interview to the family memebers.  Naina suggested that Angad and Kripa go to Angad's beach house and stay there until the exams are done so that they can study properly without distractions.  Angad and kripa thought it was a good idea, so they packed their bags and headed to Angad's beach house after dinner.

At the beach house:

Kripa: ANGAD!!!...baad mein padh lena...abhi aa kar lunch kar lo...

Angad came out of their room after Kripa called him for the millionth time.  He inhaled deeply and loudly as soon as he stepped into the kitchen.

Angad: Kripa...mom ayi thi kya?

Kripa: nahi kyun?

Angad: i smell chinese and it smells exactly like my mom's cooking...

Kripa: If you want to make me your mother...go ahead....because for this week..you are going to have to live with my cooking.

Angad: will do...

Kripa: alright....this one is my plate....this one is yours...less spicy....the way you like it...i'll be right back.

Kripa went back to the counter to clean up.  Angad sat himself down but started staring at Kripa instead.  Kripa came and sat in front of him bringing him out of the dreamland.  Kripa took her first morsel and stopped chewing after a few bites.

Kripa: ANGAD!  DONT EAT THAT!..

Kripa looked up quickly but too late, Angad had already swallowed kripa's extremely spicy noodles and was turning red while coughing.

Kripa: oh my god....i am so sorry....you took my plate instead of this one....

Kripa quickly grabbed the glass of water and made him gulp it down followed by some coke.  She hurried back to the counter and came back with sugar.  She stuffed a couple of spoons of sugar in his mouth and let him savour the sweet taste after the cruel spice he had just ingested.  Kripa patted his back as he came back to normal and exhaled loudly.

Kripa: Angad...tumhara dhyan kaha hota hai?....meine kaha tha na woh plate meri hai...

Angad: i got distracted....

Kripa shook her head and brought the spoon near his mouth to feed him.

Kripa: chalo..muh kholo...

Angad(moved back): nahi...phir se nahi....mujhe marna nahi hai.....

Kripa(giggled): Angad...mere hote hue tumhe kuch ahi hoga...shaadi ke phere lete waqt ek ladki kasam khaati hai ke uske hote hue, uske pati par choti si aanch bhi nahi ayegi.....

Angad looked at her tenderly and was about to say something when kripa shoved the spoon into his mouth.

Kripa: is that spicy?

Angad: no....this is perfect.  Just the way I like it.....but have you gone crazy?

Kripa: nahi to...kyun?

Angad(held up the plate with spicy food): you are going to be able to eat this?

Kripa: yea...i like my chinese hot and spicy.

Throughout the week, Angad and kripa studied as much as they could and prepared themselves completely for the exams.   They also shared some cute moments together like getting lost in each other's eyes, staring at each other longingly, cooking together, cleaning the house together.  Life seemed so perfect, but is it how it was going to stay?
