PART-18

 

"Today we will have the ballistic reports with us."

"Can you please stop thinking about that Naina? We both know what the reports are gonna be."

"I know but...."She could not finish. He had silenced her by covering her mouth with his own. He gently took them in relishing the kiss. They lied on the bed, undressed, making love and spending their nights together like the last few nights they have spent together.

 

"When you are with me, don't you even dare think about anything or anyone other than me....Do you understand that?" He said gently stroking her cheeks with his fingers and biting her earlobes. She smiled and pushed him aside and turned to recline over him.

"As you say my love!"

She showered innumerable kisses on him all over his face, neck, shoulder and chest. Suddenly his phone rang!

 

"What timing!" She snapped.

"Prassana... Cant this man have a better timing than 4 in the morning to call up a subordinate." He fumed.

"Just give me 2 minutes darling."

 

"Hello."

"Good morning Sir."

"Yes sir, we will get the ballistic reports today."

"Okay sir."

 

Naina was just not interested in that conversation that was disturbing them. All of a sudden something came into her mind and Rajveer could see that on her face. She gave him a mischievous smile. She bent down and continued to kiss him on his neck. She ran her fingers in his hair. Her kissing and caressing was very passionate. He was getting turned on and that distracted him from the conversation. He could not even hear what Lieutenant Colonel Prassana was speaking on the other side. He tried to brush her aside but the more he tried, the more she held him tighter pulling him closer. He could not hear even a single word Prassana said.

 

"Ammmm... Si...sir...yes...no...Sorry... Can you please repeat that?"

"Sorry Sir."

"Yes sir."

"I think so too sir...I am extremely sorry."

"Definitely sir."

"Bye sir." And he hurriedly hung up.

 

"Naina... You!"

He held her by arms pulling her closer and rolled down to the other side of the bed crushing her body under his body weight.

 

"What do you think you were doing?"

"Who... me? What did I do?" She asked making an innocent face trying hard to suppress her laugh.

"What did you do? I'll tell you what you did. Brace yourself."

 

He pressed his body hard on hers exerting extra force. Her bare features squeezed under his toned body resulting into a delightful twinge. She moaned slightly. He kissed her from head to toe and she was aroused for yet another session of love making that lasted an hour. By the end of it they were completely drained out. They lied down separately on the bed but Rajveer continued to caress her body with his hands. He touched her all over and she enjoyed every bit of the scintillating shudder that his touch sent through her body.

 

"By the way Raj, what did Prassana say?"

"Like you let me hear him." He looked at her and smiled. But she was giggling.

"Still what made him call you so early in the morning?"

"The report that is scheduled to come today."

"Oh!"

"He thought I am too sleepy to talk now so I'll have to call him back later."

 

She giggled again.

"He would have suffered a heart attack if he knew how sleepy you are."

"True. You have robbed me off my sleep."

 

She smiled back at him affectionately and gave him a peck on his lips.

"I think I should leave now. See you."

"Okay. Bye."

"You called me Raj?"

"Yes. I have got the reports."

"Oh. I believe it says exactly what we want to hear."

"I have not seen it yet."

 

Naina sat on the table near Rajveer. He took her hands in his and started kissing it as he read the report.

"Bingo. This chapter is gonna close very soon now and we will be free.... Out of every suspicion and charges."

He drew her face nearer to him and kissed her. They parted after a short kiss. They could not take much chance. They could get caught. But at the same time letting any such 'golden' opportunity go was also so not them.

 

"Inform Prassana then... Quickly!"

"Hmmmm..... I called him up this morning and he said he want a detailed report of the matter in two days. He wants to settle down things as soon as possible."

"That means it's time to give a finishing touch to our brilliantly concocted story now. Cool."

"Absolutely."

"Then let's not waste any time. Even I am not interested in stretching things anymore. I have had it."

"As you say darling. A huge celebration is just at the distance of 48 hours from now."

 

THREE DAYS LATER

 

Lieutenant Colonel Prassana was in the conference room with Captain Shekhawat, Captain Singh and Lieutenant Sharma. The report had been submitted and he was there to preside over the matter for one last time.

 

The chapter was about to close but every end means a new beginning.... and this time it was a beginning of golden period for Rajveer and Naina where they had no worries and no issues. But then, who has seen the future? Who knows what the future has in store for whom....
