Thanx a lot guys. I will update now. I know that this part is very short and breif but I have no choice- I am just too busy with school work. So Plz forgive me and keep commenting and reading!
PART 23
Raj and Naina drove towards their date happily chattering away. Sussenly Raj said something which almost made naina faint.
Raj: Tumhe ek surprise dena hai.
Naina: kya?
Raj: Aaj mujhe Colonel Shakti ka phone aaya tha. Unhone ne mujhse kaha ki Naveen ki case ki pehli sunwaai aaj thi. And aaj humara side itna strong tha ki unhe lagta hai ki 2-4 dino mein court humare favor mein verdict de dega.
Naina squeeled so loudly that Raj thought he will soon go deaf.
Naina: Oh my god Raj! I cant believe this! Yeh kaise ho sakta hai?
Raj: Naina, Naveen ke trial ke dauraan bahut foul play involved tha lekin is waqt aisa kuch nahin hai. Is waqt humare paas itna proof hai ki ab jeet humaari hi hogi!
Naina was on top of the world. The her dream was now getting fulfilled. Soon her brother would be proclaimed a martyr!
They soon reached a hill top and when Naina got out of the car she was speechless. There, right on top of the hill, from where the entire Ambala looked so beautiful was a table for two with a candle. Waiters stood around treating them oh so royally! Naina felt like a princess as she was led to the table.
Naina: Raj… yeh sab….
Raj: Accha laga?
Naina: Its beautiful… magar tumne… I mean kaise…
Raj laughed: Meine Marios mein special order di thi aisi setting ki.
They ate their dinner chattering away about Naveen, KMA, the upcoming exams etc. After they finished the dinner, they sat under a tree, Raj's head on Naina's lap (the waiters had mysteriously disappeared). The silence was so peaceful, the moon was so bright, that the night seemed all the more romantic.
Raj: Naina
Naina: hmmm..
Raj: mein soch raha tha
Naina: Kya?
Raj: hum itne khush hai na ab
Naina: haan, ofcourse. Kyun?
Raj: Nahin, bas yunhi…. Humare future ke bare mein soch raha tha. Agar humara ajj, jahan humei sab se chupna padta hai itna khoobsurat hai, to phir humara kal to isse bhi zyaada khoobsoorat hoga na.
Naina: Of course hoga. Bahut jald…
Raj: Bahut jald humari shaadi hogi
Naina: Phir honeymoon ke liye kahan jaayege?
Raj: I dunno…. Bahamas?
Naina: Bahamas? Meaning the beach? No… I wanna go to Switzerland… snowy romantic alps…
Raj: Lekin snow to humein himachal jaisi jagah mein bhi milta hai na.
Naina: To? Mujhe wahan jaana hai.
Raj: Theek hai, hum france jaayenge. Wahan lovely snow capped mountains bhi hai or gorgeous beaches bhi.
Naina: Perfect.
Raj: Aur phir… kuch saal baad, mujhe ek beti chaahiye, bilkul tumhari jaisi…
Naina couldn't help but laugh
Naina: Raj.. that's a very very long time away.
Raj: I know…. Perhaps we should think of things more immediate, like your exams and that BC will be back in the academy at sharp 2200 hours.
Naina: Oh ya…..
And hand in hand, they quickly hurried back to the car, thus marking the end of their first, and beautiful date!
