Kripa went back into the house and ignored him for the rest of the night she ran upstairs to be alone, "no one will notice me gone anyway," she said as she escaped to her room. She ran in and closed the door behind her and laid on her bed thinking seriously on whether to go or not, when she thought about how excited Aaliya was,
"why should I not just cause of that jerk seriously someone needs to teach him a lesson and what was he telling me about manners doesn't even know how to talk to girls properly" she drifted of to sleep thinking about the night's incident and she was true none of her so called friends noticed her missing, her dad was busy her dadi however did noticed but then thought she was probably somewhere else with her friends.
Two weeks had passed and it was the morning where kripa would be leaving for New York she still had a few weeks before college started but her dad decided it was better for her to get to know the place and do some sightseeing which she agreed to. she was excited but sad to leave her dad and most of all her dadi, her dadi kept on crying as they made their way into the airport, K- dadi don't worry I'll be fine, D- I know but I'm going to miss you, K- I'll miss you to, S- it's time for you to go take care sweetheart he said kissing her forehead, K- bye dad and she left after hugging her dadi, she turned to wave and left for the terminal.
Half an hour later kripa boarded the plane, she sat herself down n her seat lucky for her, her dad got her a first class ticket so she had a seat to herself. Kripa settled her luggage in the overhead compartment and sat down and began to entertain herself with the flight's entertainment program. After a couple of hours lunch was served, she slept for the rest pf the time and woke up just before the plane landed in the night around 6pm.
Kripa got out of her seat took her luggage and rushed out the plane before there was jam of people pushing to get out, she went straight to baggage claim got her suitcases and headed for the exit, kripa looked around till she saw an excited Aaliya walking towards her, kripa smiled and walked up towards her.
Aa- yay your finally here she said while hugging kripa, hope you had a great flight, K- yeah I did thanks, it's good to see you. Aa- come on let's go they both headed out towards the airport and got into a black limo. The two girls chatted the whole way when they pulled up to a huge house with two cars in front of it a black convertible, and a silver porche, Aa- well this is our house, Aaliya dragged kripa inside while the driver took the bags inside.
K- you have a nice house , Aa- thanks but its not better than your she said smiling, K- thanks, Aa- come let me show you your room, K- okay. They went into the guest room, it was big, settling her things in after taking an hour. They both headed out the room, K- which one's your room, Aa- oh sorry I forgot the one right at the end is my dad then it's my room and then its bro's room oh and let me tell you do NOT go into my room or else my bro will go psycho on you she said laughing causing kripa to giggle , "no but seriously he hate anyone going into his room she repeated herself and then its your room, there you go I showed you the whole house now lets go grab dinner" she said as they both walked down towards the kitchen.
K- Your not going to wait for your family, Aa- oh if we wait for them we'll die starving, dad's on a business trip and bro well lets say his hardly home comes around 3 or 4 in the morning , total party animal kripa wasn't surprised. Aa- what would you like?, K- oh anything is fine, Aa- how about I order pizza, K- sounds like plan. Aaliya ordered the pizza which arrived an hour later, they both chatted and watched movie without realizing the time which was now 12pm when they heard the door open, Aa- oh it must be bro, kripa really didn't care she wasn't eager to meet him, Aaliya looked at her watch, Aa- hmm though he is pretty early.
Angad who wore a white men's tank with dark baggy jeans also wearing a white "NYK" hat to the side with his chain dangling walked into the room laughing with another guy. Angad noticed kripa and just rolled her eyes, A- what's for dinner sis, Aa- oh we ordered pizza, hey Raj(eijaz), R- hey aali, and then he turned to kripa R- and you are , Aa- oh this is kripa, R- hey, K- hi she said softly. They both sat down and began to eat.

Around 4:30 am kripa woke up, she had become extremely thirsty, she opened her door quietly and crept downstairs into the kitchen, she didn't on the light, she didn't want to make much noise, some how she managed to find the fridge. She opened it looking for something to drink when she found a jug of cold water. "What are you looking for", kripa gasped startled to find angad right in front of her when she turned.
He bent down towards her closing the fridge door blocking kripa in between his arm leaning on the fridge, kripa became scared and uncomfortable she hated the fact angad was so close . A- What were you looking for he repeated himself, K- just something to drink she replied softly. Angad let his arms down and turned around to leave but turned around and said, "Next time don't creep around as if your some thief" turning around to leave.
"phew" kripa said to herself, what was his problem, he was so weird and annoying, might she add arrogant she thought and with that she drank her water and went back to bed falling asleep as soon as she fell on the bed. It was morning the sun shined through the white curtains hitting Kripa's face; she slowly made her way up yawning, she headed for the bathroom which was in the guest room, she brushed, took a shower, put a pair of jeans and a white v-neck long sleeve top and headed downstairs.
Aa- hey kripa, did you sleep well, K- good morning, yeh I did thanks, Aa- come sit and have breakfast help yourself. Kripa sat opposite Aaliya; she looked around and picked the last piece of toast leading it towards her mouth when bam it's snatched away, kripa looks up to find a shirtless angad taking a bite into the toast. Aa- Bro, A- what , Aa- that was Kripa's toast and have some shame go wear a shirt, gosh your so embarrassing, A- Aaliya you know how much I love toast and for your kind information miss kripa over here said it her self she didn't find me hot so there's no need why would she stare right kripa, kripa just ignored him and looked down, Aa- whatever anyway kripa what do you want to do today, K- hmmm well I'm new here ,you decide, Aa- umm okay how about a shopping and then a movie at the cinemas, K- sounds like plan, Aa- great, bro you want to come, A- sorry losers but I'm having party which I rather be at than go with you two he said leaving the kitchen, both Aaliya and kripa rolled their eyes , kripa didn't know how Aaliya lived with that jerk when her thought was interrupted, Aa- okay come on lets go shopping.
They both got up and were dropped off at the mall by her driver, they did a lot of shopping and for a change kripa brought dressier tops on Aaliya persuasion rather than causal, she got a few accessories, she actually felt like a real girl buying accessories.
She actually had fun for change going shopping, she felt like she could tell everything to Aaliya, she was like a sister she never had, it was just that it was so different around here unlike back at home , she smiled and continued to walk and shop. They grabbed a bite and then ice-cream after, it was around five when they went for a movie, they reached the cinemas at 6, they decided to watch "knocked up" with was at 6:30, they got their tickets, brought popcorn and a drink and made their way, they sat at the back waiting for the movie to start while watching previews of upcoming movies when Aaliya nudges kripa, Aa- omgshh that guys staring at you, K-ewww his not my type , Aa- what I thought you said you weren't into guys in that way yet, kripa realized what she had said, she noticed she was changing slowly, Aa- so, K- actually to tell you the truth I don't even know why I said that, Aa- seems like new York's changing you, kripa smiled " maybe" .
the movie begun and ended pretty late, the storyline just dragged on, they got out at 9:30, Aa- d*** that was long movie, K- yeh it was, Aa- come lets go, they were picked up by the driver and dropped home around 10pm, kripa noticed so many car on the road parked in each side as they entered the drive way, as they got out, they were deafened by the loud music they heard. K- Won't your neighbors complain, Aa- on no, next door Mrs. Kapoor she doesn't mind at all, she loves loud music well only Indian, she's a bit filmy she giggled plus she raj's mom", K- oh okay but what about the other side, Aa- on the house is empty, and you can't hear that well from opposite the street well that's what think I mean bro's has parties every week and no ones complained around here.
Aa- seems like the party just started, kripa wasn't to keen into going inside when Aaliya grabbed her, they entered the house, noticing people dancing, guys chugging drinks, competing with each other, where couples were making out, Aa- come on I want you to meet a few people, K- I thought you didn't like parties she said raising her voice, Aa- oh no I hate those business society parties, some are okay it just depends on the people attending, trust me the people over here are real , anyway come I'll make you meet some people .
They walked over to a bunch of people and in no time Aaliya had introduced each and one of them, Aa- where's bro she asked one the girls, G- oh his dancing some where their in the middle, both Aaliya and kripa turned following where the girl's finger was pointing, angad who looked ever so hot wearing a pair of jeans with a black collard dress with thin sliver stripes un tucked and mess with a few buttons unbuttoned with a wet look for his hair shining with his bling, was surrounded by three girls dancing ever so close, Aa- that's bro for you, one's not enough, " what a player, immature guy", kripa said underneath her breath.
When suddenly kripa was dragged to the middle she looked up to find Raj, R-hey come dance with me, K- oh no please I don't like to dance, but she was unheard the music was to loud, Raj spun her around loosing balance kripa pushed straight through the girls and straight into angad , A- if you can't dance then don't dance he said rudely, Kripa just ignores him and walks off, while one of the girls ask, G- who was she, A- who cares, let go enjoy babe, Raj comes up to kripa apologizing, R- oh I'm so sorry , my bad I shouldn't have spun you, and sorry on behalf of angad, K- umm it's okay and she left to go and sit with Aaliya who was busy chatting.
After a few hours Aaliya went to bed so did kripa, but unlike Aaliya who was used to sleeping during party but kripa couldn't the music was too loud for her to sleep, she went downstairs and headed straight for the backyard, she sat herself down in the swing and swung forwards and back inhaling the fresh air , opening her arms enjoying the wind enjoying the peacefulness as she could hear the music faintly, when she heard the back door open she turned to find angad and one of those girls from the three, they all looked at each other, A- come on let's go she's here he said raising his voice, G- who, A- that dork he said pointing to kripa the girl just shrug her shoulders and followed him inside while kripa ignored them thinking " why on the earth was he so mean", " guys, she didn't understand them and frankly she didn't want to if they were like him".

She laid down on the swing and looked up into the blue sky shining with scattered stars, she enjoyed the wind blowing onto her face , she hadn't realized but she had been out there for a long time, she had fallen asleep until she felt rain drops hit her face, they were cold as ice, kripa got up , she always wanted to roam around freely in rain, she loved it and to make it even better to do it in the dark night, but when she asked her " friends" back there if they wanted to do it they nearly had fit screaming, " what a dumb idea", " no way my hair will get wet", " my make up will run", " ewww were going to be all wet and ugly" .
Kripa got up and welcomed the rain but opening her hands skipping here and there spinning around to busy to notice anything, when suddenly she was lifted into the air and thrown over a shoulder she turned to see angad carrying her over his shoulder, that instance she started hitting him with her hands and kicking with her legs, " she didn't want to be touched by that jerk, uh she hated guys, who did they think they were" that's when she kicked a guy's worst place to be hit or kicked and that to hard, angad in pain fell down on to the wet grass with kripa underneath him, both looking at each other intensely, angad with anger while kripa nervousness, a song played loudly the rain from next door through an open window as the rain drenched them both.
