Chapter 23
Epilogue
Kripa wiped off the stains of milk from the mouth of her 1 year old daughter Ayushi, as the little girl tried gobbling up the cloth. After snatching away the cloth from her mouth, Kripa laid the girl against the cushion on the sofa and turned her attention to 3 year old Arjun who was jumping on the opposite sofa kicking the cushion from time to time. He suddenly lost his balance and was about to fall, when Kripa rushed and caught hold of him. Making him sit on the sofa, she kneeled before him and said coating fake anger in her one, "what are u doing arjun? Abhi aap gir jate to. Do you want your mummy to scold Kripa aunty?"
Arjun made a pout and nodded in no. Kripa laughed and rose up to kiss his cheeks. She collected the milk bottle and bowl from the table and stood up to go to the kitchen. She turned to see the kids once more and caught arjun rubbing his cheeks furiously where she had just kissed him. Boys!!! She exclaimed to herself and smiled.
Kripa was about to dump the things in the sink, when suddenly she felt a pair of arms crawling on her waist encircling her. Out of shock, the utensils fell down with a thud in the sink. Kripa turned around angrily only to find Angad grinning wickedly at her. he pulled her closer and started kissing down her neck softly. Kripa pushed him away and threw an angry glare at him, "Angad we have two kids at home. Kuch to sharam karo." She said angrily.
"What Kripa now I can't even romance my wife? By the way kids these days are not as innocent as you think they are." He retorted making a pout.
Kripa continued staring at him in disbelief for few moments when suddenly a wickedly sensual smile crawled on her lips, "I think you are right Angad." She said sensuously.
"I am right???!!!" Angad looked at her in confusion, taken aback by her reaction. He was expecting an altogether different response.
Kripa walked towards him seductively as Angad moved back in nervousness, "ummm…Kripa are u alright?" he asked in wonder.
"ofcourse I am sweet heart." She said and caught his arms, pulling him to herself. She threw her one hand around him and traced his jawline seductively with the fingers of other hand, "you want to romance naa. So lets do it hun." She said and kissed his jaw.
Shocked, Angad pushed her away and backed a little, "Kripa what are you doing? We have kids in home. Wo dekhenge to kya sochenge." He said, only to watch Kripa laughing at him crazily.
"O my god, Angad u r so cute." Kripa said cheekily.
"For god sake Kripa, I am NOT cute." Angad said angrily and stomped out off the kitchen.
Kripa and Angad walked in together in the party hall, with ayushi cuddled in Kripa's arm and arjun hung on Angad, much to his dismay. They directly walked towards the engaged couple who stood on stage receiving gifts and good wishes. On there arrival, Prithvi turned towards Kripa and hugged her cheerfully as Angad swore under his breath. He would have never ever came to this engagement, if it wasn't for Kripa and Prithvi's fiance Simi. Yeah the same girl who used to have major crush on Angad. They congratulated them and turned to go back only to clash against jerry. Poor man still had a tough time believing that her producer Kripa and his play's architect were husband and wife. After exchanging hellos they walked down directly to Rajeev and Aamna who stood in the corner, pretty much in each other.
As soon as Angad and Kripa reached there Angad pulled off arjun from him and gave it to Rajeev. "I hope he wasn't much problematic." Aamna asked laughing at Angad.
"Well if disturbing in the night to sleep in between me and my wife does not count, then no the kid wasn't a problem. Not to mention the way he used to pull my princess hair every now and then." Angad said moving his fingers in his daughter's hair lovingly.
"Serves you well." Rajeev laughed at an annoyed Angad.
Later in the night while walking towards the car with ayushi now sleeping in her daddy's arm, Angad threw the keys towards Kripa and said, "you drive Kripa."
"Angad u know I hate driving in night." Kripa whined.
"Princess has just slept Kripa, I don't want to disturb her. By the way we are not going home, I want to take u somewhere else, just follow the directions." He said sitting in passenger seat.
Kripa continued driving but somewhere an odd feeling crept inside her. The way was too familiar…like she had come this was innumerable times. Kripa halted the car on Angad's command and leaped out. Angad carefully placed his daughter on the seat and secured her with seat belt. He moved out as well and saw Kripa gazing the view in front of her. it was so changed now…there were buildings and industries there instead of her little home. A tear welled up in her eyes as she looked at it intently. Angad walked to her and caught her by arms. "Lets go Kripa." He took her to a rather small but exquisitely made building, which was made exactly where here home used to be. "Angad what is all this…" Kripa asked in confusion. "Well along with industries a bunch of private offices were built here as well, so I bought this one…….for you."
He handed her the keys as Kripa opened the large glass doors of the office and walked in. the light went on as Angad pressed on the switch and Kripa's mouth dropped open. The large office with no. of trainee seats was completely decorated with white flowers all over…white bouquets covering the seats and white orchids hanging from the walls gave it extremely beautiful look. She turned to thank Angad but saw him nowhere. Then she looked down only to see him at his knees in front of her, "Kripa I am sorry for everything I did to you, for not valuing your emotions. I know at times I was too harsh and angry at you, but believe me that was only because I always believed you are mine…till the end of time. Kripa this is the place where we came after our marriage and united for the first time and here I want to ask you again…Kripa will you marry me."
A tear slid down Kripa's eyes as she merely nodded in response. Angad got up and slipped a ring in Kripa's finger, as she got on her toes to kiss away her 'marriage' for the second time.
The baby's lips curved into an innocent smile as her beautiful dream started.
