Chapter 13

Maan was in his gym area, throwing furious punches and kicks in the air. He was in a turmoil and what could be better than this to set his thoughts aside, which meant tiring his body to an extent that it's not even capable to move, let alone thinking.

He was trying hard to block his past from his brain but the memories didn't seem to subside but came back with full force.

FLASHBACK

The company had successfully completed one of the biggest project they had bagged till date so a party was organized in a disc. It was Saturday. No tension of work, just living in the present. All were too much excited, especially Geet as she was going for the first time.

They were having a great time there and gradually as the party picked up pace, they were enjoying dancing with each other. Jumping in the air, letting their body loose. Drowning into the moment.

The atmosphere was creating a magic and their hearts started ruling their actions.

They started dancing really close. Geet twirling whereas Maan's arms held her near him possessively. The emotions they never felt or never wanted to believe, that were bound in some corners of their hearts started to breakfree.

Slowly their dance turned passionate. They tried to control their actions and started dancing separately. But as it is said, how can one stop themselves from doing what is written in their destiny, after some time they again found themselves in each other's arms.

The drinks were taking a toll on them. Their touch was making them oblivious of the world. What was right, what was wrong. Nothing mattered at that moment, just the two of them. Every thing else seemed to blur.

Slowly their lips met and they kissed for the first time ever. The kiss was a short one as both were trying to control themselves. But still they couldn't stop themselves from the deed.

Soon afterwards the party came to an end and everyone left for their homes. The drinks didn't let them remember about the moments they shared. The memories were stored in their sub-conscious mind, but they couldn't clearly remember anything.

When Maan reached office on Monday, Geet went missing since then. The mail made him little relaxed that she was out for some work but how could he stop himself from worrying for her since his heart knew about his feelings that his mind was not giving away.

END OF FLASHBACK

Each and everything about her was leading to another set of questions. The girl he saw today in his office making all the things worse.

Wasn't she Geet?

Then could she look so much alike her?

Isn't it impossible to look exactly alike even to your twin?

And if she was Geet then why act like this?

How could she ignore what they meant to each other?

How could she erase their last moments together?

Was it her way of refusing him?

Did she considered all that a mistake?

Why couldn't she tell him her problem rather than confusing him?

Didn't she felt anything for him?

Even if she didn't, why behave so rudely?

Why can't she come out clear?
