"Now?"

"Kya aapko phir se jaana hoga?"

Rajveer took a pause before he replied.

"Haan"

"Kab?"
"Kal"

"What... Lekin..."

"Shhhh...." He didn't let her speak. His finger was on her lips.She was silent now.

"Naina is waqt mujhe jaana hoga and you have to understand that. I don't have a choice. But you don't worry. Tumhe KMA mein sirf yeh session complete karna hai. Then you'll get a new posting and I'll make sure that you are posted with me. You just rest assured. It's a matter of few months and they'll pass very soon. Then we'll be together...Forever. I promise. Is that Okay? "

Naina nodded her head in yes and her lips spread out in a smile. The thought of being together forever was overwhelming. They had to part but for one last time. After that nothing would separate them.Rajveer went closer to her and held her face in his hand and said,

"Naina mujhe kal jaana hai lekin usse pehle hamare paas yeh poori raat hai. I just want to be with you without wasting even a single second thinking about tomorrow."

Their faces were less than a breath apart.His lips brushed across the crown of her head and slowly shifted downwards to her cheek and then neck.

He ran his finger over her collar bone.His touch was magical.

"Naina...I love you"

As he said that his lips brushed brushed against hers. She was getting aroused. They knew the night belonged to them....... completely.

 

ONE YEAR LATER

 

 

 

 

 

aina was standing at the window of her bedroom looking outside. It was raining heavily. She was enjoing the rain when she suddenly felt a cold sensation on her back.

"Ouch"

It was ice. Not just one but atleast five cubes were there inside her top.She hurriedly adjusted her top and took them out.She looked back. He was smiling.

"Raj...." She cried.

 "Kya hua...Maza nahin aaya" He was giggling now.

Naina picked those ice cubes from the floor.Rajveer knew what she was upto and he ran from there. She also ran after him.Naina emerged in living room but Rajveer wasn't there. He was where she could not see him...right behind her. He held her hand which had ice with one one hand and slipped other around her waist. He forced her on the couch. Even before she could comprehend she was lying on the couch and Rajveer was over her. Ice cubes slipped out of her hands. Rajveer was smiling.

"Stop smiling" She commanded.

"No"

He lowered his face closer to her.She turned his face.

"Just go away"

"No"

"Then lemme go"

"No" With every NO Rajveer's face was coming closer.

"Raj...Stop being naughty"

"No"

This time his face was so close that his lips touched hers. Naina closed her eyes. But he didn't kiss. She was waiting but he didn't.She opened her eyes. Rajveer left her hand and removed the strand of hair that was over her face. He kissed her on her forehead.

 

"Tumhe baarish bahut pasand hai na?"

"Haan" She said that with a child like excitement.

Rajveer got up and lifted her in his arms and carried her upstairs to the terrace. She was still in his arms as they stood on the terrace getting drenched. Finally he put her down and pointed out towards the hardly visible sun that was setting. His arms were around her waist and he was holding her from behind. Sky was looking beautiful with dark clouds and the orange colour of sunset.

"How about a dance?" Rajveer whispered in her ears.

"Okay."

They were dancing in the rain without any music.They were looking straight into each other's eyes without letting that eye contact break. Rajveer was still a better dancer. They were dancing like that for over an hour when Rajveer pulled her closer. They were still looking in each other's eyes. They were breathless. But they loved it like that. Rajveer controlled his breath and finally asked what he knew Naina always wanted him to.

                                            "Will you marry me Naina?"

She could not believe her ears. Rajveer had finally asked her for marriage. She was ecstatic.A smile came on her face and she said,

                                                      "Yes Raj. I will."

She was blushing. She lowered her eyes. The eye contact was broken but they knew their bond had strengthened. Rajveer went ahead and kissed her on her lips. It was one of the most passionate kiss they ever had.......
