aina was not yet ready to face Rajveer.She tried to stop Huda but before she could he had already knocked the door. Naina wanted to run away from there. But it was too late now. The door had opened. He was standing there, right in front of her eyes. Seeing him after so many years was so painful. It was tearing her apart. She could not deny at that moment that she loved him.

 

As Rajveer opened the door he saw Huda and Naina standing there. It was the shock of a lifetime for him. He has been running away from his love for past more than three years and today it was all over. He was so much in shock that he didn't even blink for a while. He was staring his unexpected visitors with his eyes wide open.

 

Huda was the only one who had a grip over himself. He has prepared himself in all these years for this day. He knew Rajveer would return one day in their lives and that would be the day when he will finally loose Naina forever. But for Naina's happiness he was ready to do that. It was difficult for him but he wanted them to know that their love for each other is not one-sided. He wanted them to be together. Finally he broke the silence.

"May we please come in Sir?"

"Ah....w.. w.. wh..what?" He was stammering.

"May we come in?" Huda asked again softly.

"Yes please come in" Rajveer was talking to Huda but his eyes were fixed on Naina. He stepped back and Huda entered in the room. Naina didn't even move. She was still standing at the threshold. Huda had to drag her inside. As Naina stepped inside her legs were shaking.Rajveer locked the door and turned back.

"Tum dono yahan kya kar rahe ho." He tried to sound normal but his voice was weak and shivering.

"Aap se zaroori baat karni thi" Huda answered.

"Kya baat"

"Mujhe lagta hai aap dono ko sachchai accept kar leni chahiye aur admit bhi."Huda said after a small pause.

"Kaun sa sach Captain Huda?"

"Yehi ki aap dono ek doosre se pyaar karte hain aur aap dono ko ek-doosre ki zaroorat hai"

Rajveer could not face Naina after this and Naina was staring at Huda.

"Just stop it Huda"

"Nahin Naina.... bahut saari baatein hain jo tu nahin jaanti aur ek baat hai jo Sir nahin jaante."

"Naina jab tu Hospital mein thi tab Rajveer sir ne mujhe khud bataya tha ki woh tujhse pyaar karte hain. Jab tu Passing Out Parade ke baad sir ka intezaar kar rahi thi aur tujhe laga ki woh nahin aaye, sir tab bhi wahin the aur sirf tere liye aaye the. Maine dekha tha unhe, Dr. Shalini ko ek gift dete hue jo unhone baad mein tujhe diya tha. Yeh pendant jo tune pehna hua hai yeh sir ne hi tere liye bheja tha."

"Aur sir aap.......aapko kya lagta hai. Aap academy aayenge aur chup-chaap chale jaayenge aur koi aapko dekhega nahin. Maine aapko dekha tha sir bas itni si galti kari ki aapko roka nahin. Sir Aapko lagta tha na ki Naina aapse pyaar nahin karti. Aapke saamne khadi hai Naina...pooch lijiye aap khud ki yeh aapse kitna pyaar karti hai. Sir us waqt Naina aapki student thi, aap rules se bandhe hue the.Lekin ab kya problem hai sir...Ab to Naina aapki student nahin hai, apki fellow Army officer hai....Ab to army ka koi bhi rule aapko aapke dil ki baat Naina se kehne se nahin rok sakta na. Aapne kaha tha ki Naina ka khayal rakhna. Maine uska dhyaan rakha hai but ab aur nahin rakh sakta."

 

"Mujhe jo bhi kehna tha maine aap dono se keh diya hai, ab aap dono ko decision lena hai aur sir is baar agar aap Naina ko chod ke gaye to woh akeli reh jaayegi.Ab main uska saath nahin doonga.Isliye aapko jo bhi decide karna ho soch ke karna."

 

Naina was so shocked to listen all of this. She didn't know how to react to this. She didn't know whether she should be happy that Rajveer loved him or feel sorry for misunderstanding him. Rajveer was not that much shocked but he didn't know what he should do. This was one situation for which he never prepared himself to deal with. But somewhere inside he was happy. He was happy that Naina loved him too. He knew it, not because Huda told him but becase Naina didn't deny it.

 

Huda went closer to Naina "Naina main aaj hi wapas ja raha hoon. Ab mujhe yahan rukne ki koi zaroorat nahin hai." Saying this he walked out of the room and left, closing the door behind.

 

Naina and Rajveer were looking at each other. They didn't know what to say. Both of them were at loss of words. Rajveer knew that if he lets Naina go today he will loose her forever. And today he didn't want that to happen. It was his only chance. He slowly went closer to Naina and cupped her face with his hands. A tear finally rolled down Naina's cheek. He lowered his face and drank that tear. Naina pushed him aside and retreated.

"Aap mujhe phir se chod ke chale gaye to?" There was an apprehension in her eyes.

 

Rajveer smiled. He started moving towards Naina and Naina continued to move back. Finally she hit the wall. Rajveer gave her a tender kiss at her forehead.

 "No Naina. This time I won't let you down. Trust me." She looked into his eyes and she knew he meant that. She clung to him. They stood like that holding each other for a while and then finally separated. Rajveer wiped her tears and kissed her fondly on her cheek, then her eyes, her neck and finally reached for her lips. That kiss was gentle and warm. He lifted her in his arms and put her on the bed.........
