aina could not understand what was happening around her. One thing after another was taking place but nothing seem to connect them. All she knew that she will have to be alert all the time. There was nothing else she could do. All she could do was to wait for something else to happen and she knew something will happen soon.

 

Her schedule in academy wasn't that hectic for a few days. The preparations for Fresher's Ball were going on. Dr. Shalini was assigned the responsibility of the ball. So Naina had very little to do. She just kept an eye over everything. 

At the same time she was excited about Fresher's ball. She remembered her fresher ball. Shalini told her that it was the best Fresher Ball she has attended till date in the academy. She knew it was special in many ways. Alekh's sophisticated avatar, Huda's flirtatious self, Madonna, her Miss Fresher's title and her dance with Captain Rajveer………Captain Rajveer. Preparations of fresher's ball going on in the academy brought back to her the memories of her Rajveer sir. Ever since he left he never turned back to look at her. Or at least she believed that he didn't. Though she herself didn't want to meet him ever but his memories were painful. It brought her back all those memories and pain. She was sitting in her room all alone when Dr. Shalini came.

"Naina, tum yahan ho aur main tumhe poori academy mein dhoondh chuki hoon"

"Koi kaam tha Ma'am"

"Nahin, bas tum bahut der se dikhai nahin di, isliye. Waise tumhari fresher's ball ki preparations kaisi chal rahi hain."

"Meri kya preparation hogi ma'am. Saari responsibility to aapke paas hai"

"Captain Naina Singh, what's wrong with you. Main function ki preparation ki nahin tumahri preparation ki bat kar rahi hoon.I mean tumhari dress, tumhara make-up, tumhari accessories and all that."

"Okay that. No ma'am abhi maine kuch decide nahin kiya hai"

"Are you kidding me Naina. I just hope you remember ki fresher's ball sirf 2 din baad hai and not 2 months later"

"I know ma'am actually main kuch decide nahin kar paa rahi hoon"

"To decide karo Naina.Aur jaldi. And Naina yahan kamra band karke baithne se kuch decide nahin hone waala.Go out and shop."

"Okay ma'am. Ab aapke orders hain to follow to karne hi padenge. Waise aap ko to Ambala ka kafi idea hoga na. Suggest me where I should shop from."

"Shopping ke liye my favourite is 'Feminity' on Mall Road.You must check that place out"

"Okay ma'am. To main abhi hi chali jaati hoon"

"Good. You go have fun. Mujhe bahut kaam hai."

 

 

It was 9:00 pm when she finished her shopping. She came out from the shop and got into her car. But she could not start it. There was some problem with it. She got down and looked for a mechanic around but could not find one. It was getting late and she had to reach the academy. She decided to take a cab. But it was difficult to find a cab after it gets dark. Thankfully after 15 minutes she got one.

"Kanchenjunga Military Academy" She told the driver as she got in.

"Ji Madam"

 After hardly 10 minutes of drive Driver took a left turn and Naina realized it's the wrong way.

"KMA left mein nahin right mein hai. You took the wrong turn"

"Nahin Madam maine bilkul sahi turn liya hai. Aapki manzil right pe nahin left pe hai"

"Dekho maine kaha na KMA right pe hai. Gaadi wapas modo"

"Lekin aapse kisne kaha madam ki aapki manzil KMA hai.Woh to hamari manzil hai. Aapki nahin."

"What?"

Naina sensed trouble. The next moment she realized that she has done a stupid mistake. She knew things around her were not right. But still she forgot to carry her gun with her and she wasn't sure if this man had one. Suddenly he stopped the cab. Naina tried to get down but as she opened the door she was freezed. A man stood there and was holding a gun in his hand. He asked her to shift inside and she did. He was wearing a mask. Naina realized that she hasn't seen the driver's face since it was too dark besides she didn't even care to do that. But even he now was wearing a mask.

 

Before Naina could even think of doing something the man sitting next to her blindfolded her and tied her hands behind with a rope.Naina was helpless. That was a deserted area and she knew there's no point in screaming. Besides she was on gunpoint.
