Part 8 –

 

Prithvi was both wounded and affronted .

Mishti – what is it she got? I'm beautiful, too. Is it the hunt? The thrill of chase? Once you've had her you won't want her anymore.

Prithvi – you don't understand anything. Krips appeals to the best part of me. When I'm with her I remember I have a soul.

This affected mishti more than the cruelest rebuff.

Mishti – you fool!!!

Prithvi left her on dance floor and goes away from there which made mishti dismated and humiliated.

Mishti thought – she was well aware of his character flaw which innocent krips wasn't, prithvi has used her up she knew this – she had let him, was still letting him – but damn if he was going to throw her away. It was time for her to talk to krips even if she risked having her own life torn apart .

 

Krips was dancing twice more with angad which was driving prithvi crazy, but he couldn't do a thing about it. He was drinking too much.

Prithvi – (in his mind) get krips on her own. He was remembering her expressions as she looked at angad. What was it exactly? Curiosity, a deep interest? More than that. Prithvi knew krips have never looked at him the way she was looking at angad. Finally prithvi went to krips and asked her to come with him.

 

Prithvi – no I won't tell you, it's a surprise!!!

Kripa – (looking puzzled) why did you leave it in car prithvi? Is it big? (she was feeling uneasy, since prithvi has drank too much)

Prithvi – let's sit in the back for a moment. (opening the rear door and all but pushing her in)

Kripa – I don't know. We shouldn't stay .

Prithvi – you are not a bit of fun, are you? (cupping her face hard with his hand)

Kripa – what's the matter with you, prithvi? You are in mood.. trying to free herself.

Prithvi – thanks to you. (he said bitterly, abandoning all pretence)

Kripa – I've no idea what you mean!! Where is the present?

Prithvi – what do you know? I forgot to bring it with me.

Kripa – ah prithvi.

Prithvi – you don't want to be here with me, do you?

Kripa – not when you are making me nervous.

Prithvi – kiss me (jerkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk)

Kripa – we have all the time in this world for kisses. Not here prithvi, our parents expect us to set a certain standard.

Prithvi – damn them!!! (he said violently, getting her arms around her)

Prithvi – why krips????

Kripa – (hit him then) I demand respect from you prithvi!

Prithvi – now isn't that the strangest thing krips sharma attacking me. Why can't you understand your are mine, I am mad for you, why can't you make love? We are already engaged, and getting married soon .

He forcefully tried to make love.

Kripa – stop prithvi please!!!

Prithvi tried to slap her.

Kripa – don't hit me, prithvi, don't even attempt too.

Prithvi – you b****

Kripa tried to ran from there when she heard a voice.

Voice – you all right kripa?

Kripa could have died of humiliation that her fianc tried to r*** her, and angad was there.

Kripa – yeh I'm okay, it's nothing.

Prithvi – mind your own b***** business angad .

Angad – sorry I am not the kind of guy who walks away from a lady in distress. Come here kripa, he instructed.

Prithvi – don't do a damn thing he asks you krips, with a warning.

But kripa did what angad has asked her to do.

Angad – you have torn dress as he looked at her.

Prithvi – I will get her another one. Why don't you get the hell away from here angad?? Do you really think you are capable of steeling my finacee?

Angad – where do you want to go kripa? Ignoring prithvi.

Kripa – I can't go back to the hall now. You can take me back to my home if you can.

Prithvi – don't go krips. Let me make you remember I am your fianc.

Kripa – I thought that meant I could trust you, prithvi. I don't want to talk about this.

Prithvi – if you go with him our engagement is finished!!! That's right, finished!!! (he shouted as if kripa was doing the worst mistake of her life )

Kripa – then let's get it over with !! she threw the ring he gave her on him. You could give this to mishti as she has the reputation of making love in car .

Prithvi – (in shocked state) my god!!! Did krips know about him and mishti? Hey come on mishti means nothing to me. He wondered when did krips found out about them..

But kripa didn't had idea about them

Kripa – be careful you don't stomp on the ring. It will do another turn. Good night prithvi.

Prithvi – krips don't go, I love you. I had too much of drink.

Angad – there's no need for everyone to know prithvi. Keep your voice down .

Prithvi -  you are talking to me.

He tried to give punches to angad.

Kripa – oh for god sake, no!!!!! (kripa was frightened)

Angad gave a tight punch on prithvi's jaw. Prithvi was shocked .

Kripa – you've hurt him. She was sorry but didn't go to her ex-fiance.

Angad – he will live. The fight is over. Let's go out of here, kripa before we draw a crowd.

 

This is the turning point for kripa. Her life could go in one of two directions, with prithvi or without him.
