Chapter 26

Its a beautiful bright morning and Sujal and Kashish were sleeping peacefully in each others arms...Kashish slowly opened her eyes and saw Sujal infront of her...She just smiled at how innocent he looked...She slowly took his hand of her waist and placed it on the bed without waking him up...She got up and went to the window and opened the curtains,letting the sun inside...She just smiled and was looking around when her smile faded and her face turned pale...She had just seen that guy again that she saw in the market yesterday...He was jogging and stopped to stare at her again...She quickly closed the curtains and moved away...she went to her closet and got her clothes while her hands are still shaking and went to washroom to get ready........after 15 mins she comes out and looks at him.....She went upto him and sat down next to him...Seeing his face,for a moment she forgot all her worries...She moved her hand and placed it on his arm,slightly shaking him...He opens his eyes and looks at her and smiles...He sits up in bed..

Sujal: Goodmorning jaan..

Kashish: Goodmorning Sujal.....

Sujal: ek second...isse pehle ke main bhool jaaun..

He bends over to her side drawer and takes out her painkillers...He passes her the painkiller and a glass of water...

Sujal: ab chalo dawai kha lo isse pehle ki tumhari tabiyat phir kharab hojaye...

Kashish: Sujal....kya subaah subaah dawai.........tum kuch aur nahi keh sakte......

Sujal: aur kya sunna chahti hain aap...

Kashish: hmmm.......kuch nahi......main neeche kitchen me hoon tum taiyaar ho jao......

She was about to get up when he holds her hand and pulls her towards himself...Her hands were now on his shoulder and his tightly around her waist...He was just looking into her eyes...

Kashish: kya baat hai......kuch kehna chahte ho.......kal bhi tum kuch kehne se ruk gaye the.......

Sujal: haa woh....nahin mera matlab hai main bas do minute tumhe jhee bhar ke dekh lena chahta hoon taki mera har kaam aasaan hojaye...aur waise bhi subah subah tumhara chehra dekhta hoon to mera din achcha guzarta hai.........

Kashish: agar aisi baat hai to ek kaam karti hoon main......

Sujal: kya......

Kashish: abhi batati hoon.....pehle chodo to sahi........

Sujal lets go of her waist...

Sujal: Lo ...Chordiya

Kashish gets up and goes to her dresser and gets a pic of them from Angad's sagai and gets his wallet from his writing table and puts it in......and shows him.........

Kashish: ab jee bhar ke muje dekh lena.......

He takes the wallet from her and looks at the photo...He was completely lost in seeing her and runs his hand along her photo whilst smiling..........She comes back and holds his face and kiss him on his forehead.....

Sujal: Jaanti ho...is saree main tum bohat zyada khubsuart lag rahi thi...meri nazrein hi nahin hatt rahi thi tumse........

Kashish: bahot achche se janti hoon........tumhe main her roz aisi khubsurat hi lagti hoon......aur ab tumhe dair nahi ho rahi.........tum bhul gaye aaj tumhari koi important presentation hai............

Sujal: Haan woh to main bhool hi gaya tha...main bas abhi aaya...\...

Sujal gets up from bed..He takes his clothes and goes to freshen up in the washroom...........

Kashish: yeh sujal bhi na.......

She gets up and makes bed and them turn around and gets his tie from his closet.......After 10 minutes he came out and a smile appers on his face seeing his tie on the dresser.........he quickly does his tie...he was combing his hair infront of the mirror whilst Kashish was putting his files in his briefcase...She saw his dream project file and was about to open it when Sujal saw her from the mirror and rushed to her taking the file out of her hand and putting it in his briefcase...She just looked at him confused..

Sujal: Woh...I'm sorry...actually dair horahi haina isliye...

Kashish: to tum uthte kyun dair se ho.......

Sujal: tum raat ko sone jo nahin deti...

Kashish: ab tumhe dair nahi ho rahi.........ab chalo breakfast karke jao.......

Sujal: badi jaldi hai muje bhagane ki...kya baat hai?

Kashish: tumhe ghar se nikal doon na tab bhi tum raat ko mere pass hi aaoge.......bahot achche se janti hoon tumhe........

Sujal: Sach main bohat achche se jaanti ho tum muje...aur waise bhi raat ko neend nahin aati agar tum meri baahon se door raho to...

Kashish: Sujalllll.......bahot ho gaya ab chalo.........

Sujal: abhi to kuch hua bhi nahin..

He starts to laugh and she drags him downstairs... they have their breakfast and Sujal was about to leave when she calls him......

Kashish: Sujal........

Sujal: Kya baat hai Kashish?

She comes to him and puts her hand on his one cheek and kiss other cheek......

Kashish: good luck.......

He just smiles and holds her face in his palms and kisses her forehead...

Sujal: Meri good luck to tum ho...Jab tak tum mere saath ho,tumhara pyar mere saath hai...nakamyabi muje chu hi nahin sakti.......

Kashish: main bhi yahi chahti hoon ki aaj tumhari presentation bahot achchi ho........ab tum jao........aur shaam ko jaldi aana......

Sujal: main jaldi aajaunga...tum apna khayal rakhna...Bye.

He goes towards the door and turns back..

Sujal: ek baat to kehna bhool gaya me...I love you

Kashish; I love you too........bye......

He smiles at her and then leaves...Kashish picks up her canvas and colors and brushes and than leaves to old house with Maria...........

It was 10 o' clock when Sujal and Angad reach the land......and sees the landlord working in his farm.......and seeing Sujal and Angad he comes to them...........

Landlord: aaplog phir se aa gaye..jab main is saab ko bata chuka hoon ke main apni zameen nahin bechna chahta to phir aap yahan kya lene aaye hain?

Sujal: aap jitna paisa kahenge main aapko dene ko taiyaar hoon......lekin mere liye zameen ka yeh hissa bahot hi zaroori hai.....

Landlord: aap ko kitni baar samjau....muje yeh zameen kissi keemat par nahin bechni...

Sujal: lekin aap kyun apni zameen jyada paise milne pe bhi nahi bechna chahte............

Landlord: yeh zameen meri hai aur bechne na bechne ka faisla mera hai...aapka nahin Garewal saab.........

Sujal: lekin main aapke faiyde ki baat kar raha hoon.........

Landlord: Dekhiye yeh zameen mere purkhon ki hai...Mere dada ne yeh zameen mere baba ko di thi aur unhone muje...main yeh zameen nahin bech sakta...

Sujal: aap muje samajne ki koshish kijiye........mera yaha pe Power Plant lagana bahot zaroori hai.......

Landlord: Dekhiye aap ek baat achchi tarah se samaj lijiye...main yeh zameen kissi bhi keemat pe nahin bechunga..........aapko apna Power Plant lagana hai to woh meri nahin aapki samshya hai...aap koi aur jagah dhund lijiye...

Sujal: yeh zameen to main kisi bhi keemat pe leke hi rahunga.....

Landlord: main bhi dekhta hoon ki aap kaise lete hain...ab isse pehle main apne saathi ko bulaun,aap sharafat se yahan se chale jaiye...

Angad: Sujal chal yaha se.........Sujal chal......

Sujal: main wapas zaroor aaunga is zameen ko lene.........

Landlord: aur main us din ka intezar karunga...

Angad drags Sujal to the car and drives off towards their office

It was now 4pm in the evening and Kashish was packing away all her painting equipment when Maria came into the room..

Maria: Good Afternoon Mam...Kaise chal raha hai sab?

Kashish: bahot hi achche se.......aapko pata hai is bar main Sujal ko ek bahot hi special gift dene wali hoon.....aur yeh uski hi taiyaari ho rahi hai,.........kal tak puri bhi ho jayegi......

Maria: muje pura yakeen hai ki Sir bohat khush honge...aap unke liye itna kuch kar rahi hain...

Kashish: Sujal ke chehre pe ek choti si muskaan dekhne ke liye main kuch bhi kar sakti hoon.......

Maria: Sir bohat khusnaseeb hain jo unhe aap jaisi patni milli...waise Mam aapka bohat bohat shukriya ki aapne hamare purane Sir ko lauta diya...main unhe aise dekh ke bohat khush hoon...

Kashish: Pata hai Maria.......aapke Sir duniya ke sabse achche insaan me se ek hai.....

Maria: jaanti hoon Mam...maine aapse kaha tha na ke ek din aap ko Sir bohat pyar karenge..aur woh waqt aagaya hai...ab dair ho rahi hai...hum chalen?

Kashish: haa...... chaliye.......aur aapne sahi kaha aapke sir mujse bahot pyaar karte hai..........

Kashish picks up her things and Maria helps her...Both take the things to the car and the driver drives off....After sometime the driver stops at the gas station and Kashish and Maria were waiting in the car...Kashish was looking out of the window,lost in her own thoughts when she looks to her side and sees a motorbike parked across her...She was devastated to see that same guy again as he removed his helmet and started to stare at her again...Kashish quickly closed the window and she began to sweat when Maria noticed her...

Maria: Mam kya baat hai?..Sab thik haina?

Kashish: Maria....us ladke ko dekh rahi hai aap.......kal se muje aise hi ghur ke dekh raha hai.........

Maria looks out and then back at Kashish...

Maria: Mam isme ghabrane waali kya baat hai?........Yeh ittefaq bhi to ho sakta haina...aap pareshan mat hoiye...

Kashish: shayad.......pata nahi lekin muje kuch ajeeb lag raha hai......

Maria: aap tension mat lijiye sab thik hojayega...

When the driver comes back and drives off...Kashish slightly opened the window and looked back..He was still watching her go...Kashish closed the window again and rested her head back and lost in her thoughts...

It was now 10pm at night...Sujal was working on his laptop and Kashish was sat in bed watching tv...but nothing interesting was on...She started to change the channels and saw a horror movie was on tv...She put the remote down and started watching it...After 5 minutes Kashish began to get scared...She slowly got up and walked to Sujal...He looked towards her...

Sujal: kya baat hai Kashish...kuch chahiye kya?

Kashish: mere saath betho na.....woh muje woh movie dekhni hai......

Sujal smiled and closed his laptop...

Sujal: Chalo...

Sujal comes and sits by her and she slowly puts her head on his shoulder and holds his hand.....He slightly rests his head on hers and both were just watching the movie...Kashish was getting really scared now...There came a horrific part in the film and Kashish quickly turned around and went into his arms...She was holding onto his shirt really tightly...He just looked down at her and burst out laughing...

Kashish: Sujal.........hasna bandh karo.......kya woh sab chala gaya.....

Sujal had a mischievious smile on his face..

Sujal: nahin abhi hai...Woh dekho Kashish...Woh uska galla kaatne waala hai...

She held onto him even more tightly...

Sujal: are yeh kya!........usne galla kaat diya...Kashish dekho na har jagah us aadmi ke khoon ke katre phail gaye hain..

She goes deeper into his arms and he holds her tightly controlling his laughter...

Kashish: sach sach kaho na kya woh gaya........

Sujal: aur kya main jhoot bol raha hoon...Khud hi dekh lo

Kashish: nahi main nahi dekh sakti.......kitna daravana hai......

Sujal: haa woh to hai...yeh dekho ab woh us aadmi ke bhai ke peeche pad gaya...lagta hai ab uski baari hai...

Kashish: Sujal tum muje aur bhi darra rahe ho.........tum apni bakwaas bandh karo....

Sujal: are bhalai ka to zamana hi nahin raha...main to tumhe update deraha tha...Waise muje nahin pata tha tum horror film se itna darti ho...muje lagta hai hume roz raat ko ek horror film to dekhni chahiye...Issi bahane tum mere itne kareeb to aayi...

Kashish: main koi darti nahi woh ....woh maine aaj pehli bar dekhi is liye.........

Sujal: oh to yeh baat hai...Phir dekho na film

Kashish: woh.....woh main dekh hi to rahi hoon.....

Sujal: achcha...to film meri baahon me chal rahi hai kya?

Kashish: Sujallll.......

she hits him on his arm......

Sujal: AAAHHH kitna zor se maarti ho tum...

Kashish: to tum muje aur kyun darra rahe ho.....

Sujal comes closer to her ear and whispers..

Sujal: taki tum mere aur kareeb aao...

she went more deeper in his arms.......closing her eyes.....He just smiled and held her tightly in his arms...They began watching the film again...After a few moments she'd look at the film and then hide back into his arms...He was just enjoying her reactions...It was now 11.30pm and the film finished...Sujal turned off the tv...

Sujal: Lo...Yeh to khatam hogayi...kaisi laggi tumhe Kashish?

Kashish: mujse kya puch rahe ho.......movie to tumne dekhi.....

Sujal: to tum kya dekh rahi thi?

Kashish: muje nahi pata.....

she moves back from his arms....He holds onto her hand..

Sujal: agar tumhe nahin pata to kisse pata hai?

He said raising his eyebrows

Kashish: maine kaha na muje kuch nahi kehna.......waise bhi main ja rahi hoon.......

Sujal: tum is waqt kahan ja rahi ho?

Kashish: kitchen me pani lene.............

Sujal: Oh...akeli sambhal logi na...Don't worry woh murderer yahan nahin aa yega...tum befikr hoke jao..

He laughs slightly

Kashish: main kisi se darti nahi........

Sujal: Jaanta hoon tum bohat bahadur ho...Jaao na...Pani lene

She left for the kitchen leaving him in smile....... She walked down the steps shaking and kept looking around her to make sure nothing was there...She walked into the kitchen switching the lights on...She took a glass of water and started to drink it when the lights went out...Kashish was really freaked out...She put the glass on the worktop when she felt a hand on her shoulder...

Kashish: aahhhhhhh......

she turned around and closed her eyes and starts to bit him with her hands........The person held her arms..

Sujal: Kashish yeh sab kya tha!

Kashish: tum....kitni bar kaha hai ki piche se muje nahi darana........

Sujal: to kya window se aake aage se daraun?

Kashish: marungi main tumhe......

Sujal: Arre aur kitna maarogi...mere dono baazu to already pit chuki ho...

Sujal: to tumne muje daraya kyun........

Sujal: Maine kahan daraya...main to isliye aaya tha ki light chali gayi hai kahin tum darr na jao magar tumne to muje dara diya...

Kashish: tum sach me yeh dekhne aaye the ki main dari nahi ki phir...

Sujal: Ki phir?...

Kashish: kuch nahi.......main chalti hoon........

She is about to go when he holds her back and pulls her holding her against the wall...

Sujal: main yahan tumhare liye aaya aur tum mere binna hi ja rahi ho...not fair haan jaan............

Kashish: Sujal.....woh......

Sujal: Woh kya?...yeh kahan ka insaaf hua...ab sazaa to tumhe milni chahiye..

He bent down and started to kiss her along her neck...

Kashish: kis baat ki sazaa........

Sujal: muje yahan akele chorne ki sazaa...

He kissed her on her shoulder moving upto her ear...

Kashish: main kaha ja rahi thi tumhe chodke ......tum to hamesha mere saath rehte ho.......

Sujal: aur hamesha rahunga... Itni asaani se peecha nahin chodunga tumhara

He kissed her on her cheeks..

Kashish: aur main bhi nahi jane dungi.....

Sujal looked into her eyes...

Sujal: Sach?

Kashish: hmmm.......

He was just looking at her intently...He was bringing his lips closer to hers...She closed her eyes as she felt him near and he was thinking finally the moment has arrived when all off a sudden the light came back...Kashish opened her eyes and slid down whilst Sujal almost kissed the wall...She started to laugh...

Kashish: Mr.Sujal Garewal......itni jaldi bhi haath nahi aanewali.......

Sujal: manna padega Mrs Garewal...aap ko kaabu me karna bohat hi mushkil kaam hai

Kashish: haa woh to hai aakhir biwi kiski hoon

Sujal: to tum bhi jaanti ho ki Sujal Garewal jo chahta hai usse paa kar rehta hai...bahot jald main yeh saabit bhi kardunga.......Thats a promise

Kashish: woh waqt aane pe dekh lungi.......abhi chale dair ho rahi hai......

Sujal: haa ab waise bhi kya bacha hai...Chalo

Kashish: to main bhi to yahi keh rahi hoon.....muje nahi lagta ki tumse kuch hoga....

Sujal: kya nahin hoga mujse?.........Ab baaki hi kya reh gaya hai

Kashish: chalo.....tum so hi jao.......yeh tumhare liye achcha rahega......

Sujal: haa haan yahin karne wala hoon.

They start to leave the kitchen

Kashish: Sujal tum kuch bhul nahi rahe.......

Sujal: ab kya bhool raha hoon main?

Kashish: kuch nahi........

She starts to walk off when he holds onto her hand...He comes infront of her and lets go of her hand...He picked her up in his arms...

Sujal: yahin bhool raha tha na main...

Kashish didnt say anything and just hugges him.....He just smiles and then carries her up the stairs whilst her arms were around his neck and her head resting on his shoulder...He brought her in the room and made her lie down...He covered her with a blanket and kissed her forehead..

Sujal: Goodnight..

Kashish: Goodnight...........

He closed the light on her side... He comes back to his side and lie down and pulls her towrrd himself and hugges her so tight and both fell in sleep within a second carrying a beutiful dream in their eyes.....
