Raj was standing in the garden and staring at the sky. He didn't know what to do anymore. He was tired but he didn't want to go to his room. After an hour, he walked in his room to get his clothes and he found Ritu with her suitcase packed.
Raj didn't say anything but Ritu handed him some papers and a letter. Raj looked at her with a question.
Ritu- I am going back to Mumbai. Read this letter after I leave. You have two weeks to take your decision.
Ritu left from there and Raj opened the letter. When he was finished reading, he laughed.
Raj(talking to himself)- Zindagi bhi kaise kaise khel khelti hai mere saath!
It was one week after the incident, and every thing was back to normal. Everyone spend a lot of time with Karan and Khushi so they forgot horrible incident.
Vidya and Gunny were pushing Naina to tell the truth to Raj but Naina told them not to push it. On the other hand, Nandini and Abhi wanted to know that why Ritu had left so suddenly but Raj wasn't saying anything.
General Gaur had came back to the base and he had called everyone for a briefing about the incident. Abhi, Raj and Gunny went to meet him. G. Gaur congratulated them for their success in the case and asked about kids' condition.
Gunny- They are all fine sir.
G. Gaur- I am glad to hear that. I am sorry that I wasn't much of help in the case.
Raj- It wasn't your fault as you were bound by rules.
Abhi- Yes sir, and everything is normal now.
An orderly came to call Raj and Gunny because their signature were needed on some documents so they left from there. Abhi and G. Gaur were talking about general stuff when Abhi found out that G. Gaur was posted at Mumbai when Naina, Gunny and Vidya were transfered there from KMA.
Abhi- Sir, I didn't know that you had worked with Major Naina and Colonel Gunny before.
G. Gaur- Yeah only five months when they were transfered to Mumbai. But I only work with Colonel Gunny as Major Naina had to take sabatical for two years.
Abhi(surprised)- Why?
G. Gaur- Because she was pregnant.
Abhi was more surprised and confused. He wasn't sure but these conditions were drawing his attention in one direction.
He went to personnel department to check records and he checked Naina's records and he never found any evidences of her marriage to anyone in the records.
He was in deep thoughts when Raj and Gunny came back.
Raj- We should go Abhi...
Abhi- Raj, why don't you and gunny go ahead. I am just going to hospital.
Gunny- Why?
Abhi- I just wanted to ask doctor that we should continue giving medicines to kids or not. Don't worry, I will be back before dinner.
Raj- Okay...
Abhi went to the hospital and met the doctor.
Abhi- Doctor, I need a favor from you.
Doc.- Sure... what do you need?
Abhi- I want you to perform a DNA test.
Doc- Whose DNA test.
Abhi- You have blood that Colonel Rajveer had given to Khushi and I want you to perform a DNA test for those two samples.
Doc- It's against my profession. I can't do it.
Abhi- Please doctor, it is very important. Ye kisi ki zindagi bhar ki khushiyon ka sawal hai...
Doctor wasn't sure but he said yes to Abhi and told him to keep it confidential.
Abhi thanked him and went back to the house. He saw Raj happily playing with Khushi and he smiled looking at them.
Abhi(to himself)- Shayad teri khushi tujhe lauta paonga dost...
At that night, Abhi was restless as he was about to find out the truth in the morning. He went to the hospital in the morning and the doctor handed him the report. He opened it to read it and he was happily shocked because the letter stated that Raj was Khushi's biological father.
